Very professional and did exactly what they said and the price was very reasonable!

The work was done on time..stayed on budget..and have no complaints.

Entire process went well. Initial scoping and outline of services was prompt and fair. Even with winter weather Rich and his team stayed in contact to find a time to get the work complete. The work itself was clean, quick and looks great.

They do good quality work. In old houses where there are always surprises, they were able to work around things and come up solutions for things. Their subcontractors were quality people. After, I’m having them back for my bedroom and bathroom. Their work came out beautifully. They came when they said they were coming unless there’s a specific reason. They worked all day. I will use them again.

I contacted 1st choice home improvement for estimate for some work I wanted done. response was quick, measurements were taken and an estimate and time frame were discussed. I decided to go with 1st choice. the work was done within time frame agreed on and the workers were professional and neat. I'm very happy with my new door and windows and would use 1st choice home improvement again in the future. thanks

From the start everything went as planned. I couldn't have been happier. The crew was very pleasant to work with and didn't even stop to eat lunch! Rich, Paul and Mike are the guy's to have do your next home improvement project! All the past reviews speak for themselves! I am looking forward to my spring 2015 projects with 1st Choice.

They were completely professional, working in a timely fashion and cleaning up after themselves. They put a customized mail slot in the bottom of one of the storm doors. Replaced my door bell and made sure that everything met with my satisfaction.

The project went very well. Paul and his staff were very efficient and professional. They came in with a fair offer and explained each step of the process to my wife and I.

He was responsive to all my inquiries, showed up on time for the inspection, and provided his estimate on the day of. I really appreciated that he went out of his way to help me and was professional the entire time. Although we didn't end up buying the property, I was very pleased with Rich's service throughout the entire process and would hire him for future home improvement projects.

They were very responsive and on time. They were professional when they came for the estimate and answered all my questions and offered suggestions. We decided to go a different route and do more of the work ourselves. We probably would have hired them had we decided to stick with our original plan.

Came and quoted on work but was too expensive.

They were professional, punctual, and very courteous. However, their price was high for me.

I've had Mike come to do a number of different things from gutter cleaning to dryer vent cleaning to gutter patches. They guy is just quality. He's honest and down to earth and I trust him for advice.

They were very nice and good enough. The two gentlemen that came out were nice. They got the quote to us pretty quickly; we had it the next week. The quote was $38000. They were fine. I didn’t get any other quotes, so I don’t know if they were high or not. We are still in the process of working on it. We might use them in the future; we haven't ruled it out yet. We haven't made a decision yet.

I contacted a few different placed to install a slider in my basement and to come up with a great solution for a screen on my French doors off my kitchen. 1st Choice was great at getting back to me, coming out, listening to what I wanted, and recommending and ordering what I needed! It took about 4-6 weeks for the door to come in (custom made) but besides the time (which isn't their fault) everything went great!

When we called we were told that the worker would be here at the end of the day around 5:30. 2 very efficient workers arrived at 3:30, removed all broken glass, Put a temporary barrier up, cleaned up, and were done by 5 PM. We were given options for replacement windows. To stick with our current brand was a custom order that would take a couple weeks to get in. This was not practical. We were told we could have a new window in in 3 days. The very next day, their worker showed up with the new replacement window and had it installed in a very short period of time. He was very professional, cleaned his shoes every time he went in and out of the house, and left the area cleaner than when he came. Also, our front porch steps had broken free from the porch. We had previously gotten a quote of around $150 from another contractor to fix this. The gentleman from 1st choice noticed the problem and fixed it with spare parts in 10 minutes free of charge. We had used 1st choice previously for a number of windows and slider and had the owners work on that project with great results. This is why we called them before other companies who are closer to our home. They are quick, responsive, and professional. They aren't the lowest priced, but they are very competitive and knowledgeable. Some contractors deal with 1 brand. These guys offer many options and great service.

They were good. They came out 2 weeks quicker than we estimated. They had a break in their schedule. We had one window that was leaking so they gave extra special detail to that window to seal it well.

I was contacted by Paul the same day I called and left a message asking for an estimate on the described work. An appointment was made within a few days. He was prompt, professional and very easy to do business with. I received the estimate two days later and we agreed on a price which seemed very fair based on other estimates I'd received. Paul had given me a time frame of approximately one month for the door to be received and then be installed approximately one week after that. I was more than pleased when only two weeks later the door had arrived and an install date agreed upon. I had mentioned to Paul the first time we met about some damage to our vinyl siding but noted that we had not yet had it repaired. The day he delivered the door he took a look at the siding and said they could take care of that the same day they installed the door. This entailed replacing about 10 pieces of siding on the front and side of the house and installing a new trim piece at the roof line. We agreed on the price of $200. They work crew arrived on time, were friendly, prompt and professional. I felt completely at ease with them in the house. They took care to protect our belongings from dust and damage and did a wonderful job cleaning up after themselves.

Paul and his crew were professional and their workmanship outstanding; completed the work in a timely manner, cleaned up and removed all materials. I am very pleased with the results. Definitely will call on them for future projects.

The owner (Paul?) was very professional and very nice. He gave me references and everyone had great things to say so I hired him even though he was the highest bid. Paul's carpenter was local (Weymouth) and his attitude is the reason that I didn't give Paul a higher score. The carpenter would ask for my design input and then do his own thing. He also would not show up until around 8:30 am and would leave by 3:30 pm even when there was only about an hour's worth of work left on the project. The carpenter also reused a piece of plywood that he had messed up on as a finished door on the new laundry enclosure so that when you opened the door you saw hinge holes where there shouldn't have been any. I expected more based on the money I paid so I probably would not use them again - too expensive....

Very professional, punctual and competively priced. Paul really tried to accomodate my schedule as I was moving and needed the floors done before my move-in date. The flooring was installed in one day and they did a great job. I would defintely use 1st choice again (if priced reasonably). Although the price for this job was ok I thought their estimate to finish my basement was too high. It was double of a couple of other estimates. It's too bad cause I really would like to use them to finish my basement.

They were very professional. They both came out and within a week or so I had the quote with all the parts spelled out with all the different parts of the job. It was done very professionally. I just decided to go with somebody else. They were astronomically high.

Workmanship was great, all was completed in one day and they picked up everything!
