Description of Work: They were very pushy to make an appointment (good thing). The person who came took much time to look around and answer my questions. However, he did not go up on the top part of the roof (he said he didn't bring his long ladder - bad). Instead, he tried to look at it from the ground with binoculars. He found our roof to be in decent shape, but there were a few minor items that could have used some work (which was the reason why I bought the Big Deal to begin with). He promised me an estimate for that work within the week. The estimate never came, despite my follow-up inquiries. Obviously they were only interested in doing a whole roof, and so I pretty much had thrown my big deal money that I never got back out the window.

He later said he was coming to do the roof, I did not hear back from him despite my additional emails to him. I called several times and there was no response. It was frustrating as the roof was leaking and I was restraining from giving it to someone else since I had paid deposit for him to do the work.

Description of Work: I purchased a roof inspection through Angies List Big Deal. Showed up on time, explained things well. Prepared detailed roof report and proposal to fix roof issues. We have since moved forward with the work, but it is not complete yet, so no review on the end product yet.

Description of Work: I purchased this deal many months ago. Since the weather was harsh, the inspection could not be done immediately and that was understandable. However, the roof has been clear of snow for weeks now. I have had three communications with the company where we agreed they could come by any time to do the inspection. The last call, a few weeks ago, was to say they would be coming in two days. I have heard nothing since. To my knowledge, nothing has been done. I have emailed the company directly today to try to resolve this issue. I don't understand why they have not followed through on this inspection or why they have not contacted me.

Description of Work: Been in semi-contact with vendor since 10 August. Vendor continually made appointments that he didn't keep, with few notices of same. On 26 August, last Monday, I finally got a phonecall from his secretary stating to appologize and that he was running late, and that he should be there at a stated time, of which he was almost an hour late that day. Jeremiah Nash inspected the roof, as planned, but with a few exceptions, I knew the problems he had sited already. He also promised that he would have a detailed report and photographs of my roof and an itemized estimate as to the work to be done. As of today, there has been no sign of either. This has been the first time in my life as a homeowner that I've had to 'chase' a contractor BEFORE any work had been approved or accomplished. I would like my $59.00 back!

Description of Work: They don't clean gutters if guards are installed, and we have gutter guards, so no work performed. But they do seem to care about customer service. They did call back when I contact them to make an appointment and were pleasant when the work could not be performed.

He brought samples of the product to be used to my house to explain the process and the guarantees to us. The crew that he used were polite and hard workers. They also did a good job cleaning up when the job was finished. I would recommend Nash and Sons to people considering a new roof or repairs.

Description of Work: Mr. Nash repaired my roof deck in timely and professional way. The price was reasonable for the service performed.When the house was built back in 2005 the roof deck was not built properly. The flashing should have been installled so that it should have gone under the siding.Mr Nash corrected that so I know longer have water leaking into my house. I am very please with the job he did.
