Response from Coastal Heating & Air Conditioning
Good Morning, After reading your recent review of our company, I looked in the system to see what went on and because it was last year, my memory was not helpful. I saw that on our schedule, we had you down for an 830am appointment on July 25th 2013 and that your ac was not reaching some rooms in your home. According to our tracking system, our technician Jon arrived at 8:51am. I will apologize that you did not receive a phone call advising he would be late, as that is something we're very diligent about. I also see that he was there for 42 minutes. When we are called to a new customers home, we have no way of knowing what condition they're system or duct work is in. If it had been a disconnected duct, we could certainly reattach it and fix the issue, however in your case, you needed ductwork replacement and our company does not offer that, which is why we referred you to a contractor we are familiar with. I had sent your information on 2 separate occasions, but we have no control over what a contractor does. The cost of a service call is usually $150.00 for the first hour, $125.00 each additional hour thereafter. Using your Angie's List coupon, your charge was $130.00. We appreciate all feedback from our customers, and I apologize that we could not do more for your situation. We do have our customers best interest, and are always fair and honest. Had we known, we would've made another attempt at getting our contractor to contact you. Thank you again for your review. Best, The Coastal Team
