We had just purchased the home and the inspection had revealed many nails that needed caulking as well as flashing to be checked. Matt contacted me in a very timely manner and verified by phone the appointment. He showed up exactly on time, finished the work quickly, gave me a full report on the roof and recommendations on any issues he found. I also had him check out some areas of the garage that showed evidence of dry rot and am in progress of getting an estimate on fixing those areas.

I was very impressed and satisfied with South Coast Remodelers! They replaced my roof, trim, siding, and windows. The crew showed up on time and completed the job in a timely manner. In addition to being a skilled quality carpenter, the owner Matt has great communication skills. He calls when he says he will call and shows up when he says he will show up. He is punctual and professional. He and his crew cleaned everything and left no reminisce of debris. The final price matched the original quote even with a few add ons. I plan to have Matt and his crew come back to do a kitchen and bath remodel in the spring. I highly recommend him!!

I was incredibly impressed with Matt Hurd and his team throughout the entire process. Matt was very communicative and easy to contact with questions or concerns. He responded in a very timely manner and always showed up promptly. Matt was able to look at my roof and provide a quote within a day of my call. His prices were incredibly reasonable, and he was knowledgeable about the different types of materials, able to make suggestions and talk me through the benefits and drawbacks of each. Matt was also open to requests for additional / extra features. After receiving a verbal quote on site, I received a written quote the next day and a general timeline for when he and his team would be able to start work. Matt and his team began work a couple of weeks later. They were quick and efficient, only stripping the amount of shingles that they would be able to replace that same day to make sure I was never without the protection of the roof. The team was incredibly friendly, and several of my neighbors mentioned to me that they were all quick to smile and say hello if they walked by. My new roof looks fantastic, and I have received many compliments. Matt Hurd came very highly recommended by a contractor with whom I have worked previously, and the reputation is well deserved. I will have no reservations in calling him again for future projects.

Matt was very professional and very helpful with the remodeling of our kitchen and bath. The place looks fantastic everyone is amazed of the job that was done. He did high quality work and it shows, the best part was that this was done at the right price. As I have stated above, Matt Hurd and South Coast Remodelers completed all of our projects in a timely manner with the upmost professionalism and workmanship. They ensured that there was an open line of communication and provided a detailed estimate for the services requested. The custom piece of cabinetry that was completed exceeded my expectations and has improved the overall feel of our lobby. They completed their work in one day and ensured that the hospital was left clean and that our clients were not disturbed during the installations.
