Very thorough with the estimates and took care of additional issues with other areas of the roof that weren't part of the contract at no additional charge. The project was completed in a day's time and site prep and cleanup were very professionally handled.

Ken and his crew did a fabulous job. I had contacted him by email initially and had a response the same day. We arranged for a time a couple days later for him to come and give an estimate. He talked with my husband and I about what we wanted, climbed onto the roof to do measurements and examination and left an extensive written estimate. Once when had notified Ken that we wanted him to do the job, he notified us shortly after to give exact date. He promised a two day job and was completely done by about 6pm on the second day including completely cleaning up. You couldn't even tell they had been there, except for the beautiful new roof! The only addtion to the initial estimate was to add gutter guard that he offered to do and we accepted. Ken was on site the entire time overseeing the job and even pitching in to help. He even corrected an upstairs bathroom fan that the builders had vented only to the crawl/attic space under the insulation. He installed a proper vent and connected to the fan through the crawl/attic space himself. I can't say enough about Ken and his company. It's great to find a company nowadays who is trustworthy, dependable, and does such a great job! I would hire him again without a second thought. Thanks again Ken!

This company was one of several I had come in to look at the job and give me estimates. In particular I wanted to meet the person who would be getting the job to get a sense of what they were like. Ken Fantasia the owner of the company was professional, thorough and gave me the stron impression that his company could do the job right. There were a few other companies that I felt I could hire. Ken's estimate came in in the middle and I knew he was the one I wanted to hire. Once they were hired they went to work right away and clearly knew what they were doing. They always cleaned up after their days work. We had a few problems after the roof was done with a tricky section of the roof which had always caused us problems. Although it was a challenging problem, Ken came back a few times to be sure that the problem was resolved. The roof looks great and I am very satisfied with the job.

I posted request to Fantasia & Sons via Angie's List. Ken Fantasia (owner) immediately emailed me and let me know I could contact him anytime for an estimate. I called Ken on a Saturday and he came out the same day to provide estimate. Ken was extremely knowledgable and gave lots of advice on what he thought needed to be done and what I could hold off on. Ken is very down to earth and put me at ease that he was very qualified to do the job. He provided some ballpark estimates but said he needed to get some other numbers (cost of skylights, etc) before giving written estimate. Ken emailed me a written estimate the next day that was not the lowest but was very competitive. I felt that Ken really was the best of the contractors I spoke to and since his price was very close to the lowest one I received, I went with Fantasia & Sons. Ken and his crew came out 2 weeks later to do the job. They finished in about a day and a half. The work on the roof, skylights, chimney, and bay window cedar roofs was done extremely well. They also vented my 2 bathroom fans out the back roof and waterproofed the chimney as a throw in. I could tell that it is very important to Ken that he does a top quality job and makes sure he keeps his customer happy. Ken was in communication with me the entire time. They also did a great job cleaning up after the work and left the house as they found it. I will be sure to use Ken in the future when I need to replace back roof. I would recommend Ken to anyone needing this type of work.

Ken Fantasia came promptly the next day after our call that we had a leak. He brought an entire crew. They evaluated the problem and made temporary repairs. The following day he returned with material to permanently repair the chimney. Even though this was not due to a problem with his work on the roof, we had the expertise fix the masonary and at no charge!

Absolutely first rate experience from start to finish. Ken is punctual, professional and highly qualified. His crew is hard working and ruled by a boss that is demanding, fair and concerned with the quality of the job. This job was tricky as Fantasia and Sons are mainland roofing contractors but job was done on the island so trucks and materials had to be brought on to the island by ferry. Permitting had to be obtained and the dumpster scheduled. All this entailed several trips to the island before work could be started. Don't believe this is the cheapest price possible but would have been far more if used an island roofer. Contractor very careful about the property and left the place spotless. Highly recommended.

Ken was very prompt in returning our phone call. His estimate was not the lowest one we received, but based on rave reviews from other customers we went with him. Very glad we did! His crew was here early every day, and worked until late in the day. The cleanup was meticulous after each day's work. We encountered a very bad rot problem on one side of the house, which meant we had to replace framing, a window and doors. Ken and his crew took care of everything, including getting all the materials needed to finish the job (window, doors, etc.) This added to the original estimated cost, but Ken was great about not having us spend more than we needed to. I would recommend Ken Fantasia very highly, and would use him again.

I went on Angie's List and found Ken early Friday morning January 27th. I called him and caught him before he was to head to Boston for another job. He graciously agreed to come by my house to inspect the leak in my roof. He came by when he said he would, inspected and found the problem and promised to return the next day to fix it. He was as good as his word as he came by the next morning and not only fixed that problem but also took care of other trouble spots on the roof so that I would not have to worry about any more leaks for the next few years. His estimate was very reasonable and his workmanship was first rate. He cleaned up after he was done and explained everything that he did in detail. He is passionate about his work and won't hesitate to discuss roofs all day long! I have not received the final bill yet but I have no reason to believe that it will be any more than what he quoted me. I would hire Ken in a heartbeat and intend to do so when I finalize my remodeling plans for the house.

Had received 7 quotes and Ken was within $100 of lowest bid. Went with Fantasia because of the length of time he has been in business, recommendations and quality of his product and 10 year service warranty provided by Fantasia and Sons. Am very happy with the results. Would not hesitate to recommend Ken and his crew.

Great result, done as contracted. The work was done on time and with quality service.
