John came and measured - we found granite he picked it up and delivered, installed, everything fit exact. Plumber came and installed faucets.

They installed granite counter tops on island and all around the sink, etc. Also cut a hole for cooktop, and installed tile for border over counter top. Very nice couple who own the business. Very helpful in picking out materials. Came when planned to do the work. There were times when the owner was not present, and he had his helper do the work. They did a nice job, and we are very happy with the granite materials we picked out. The only real problem I experienced was the clean-up during and after the job was done. Things were left very messy in the kitchen, and I had a lot to clean up after they were finished with the job. Do not think we got the discount because of using Angie's List?

Very professional, fair price, showed up on time, very responsive, and did a very nice job overall. Would use and will use again and would recommend.

Like all remodels you have your good days and your bad days. But all in all it was a great experience as it was my first remodel. John is very quick to get back to you with any questions you may have. Mike is super - easy to work with and really does a great job. All in all I am very satisfied with the results.

For the most part it went very well. Nothing ever goes perfectly on projects like this. Shayna, John and Rudy were very nice to work with. We did have some scheduling issues as they got very busy. (Good for them). The gentlemen working for them; some were better than others. I would have also liked a final inspection done. I have received many compliments on how the kitchen turned out.

Zack, Mike & Jeff arrived on time and finished promptly. Cleaned up at finish of job. Price was reasonable.

From the first phone call, with Shayna, everything was fantastic. The process went incredibly smooth and the granite was isntalled on time and expertly done. Everyone was professional.

From the beginning, Emerald City was responsive to all my queries, quick to give me quotes, and, referred me to nearby granite depots so we could choose our stone. They were very helpful and actually gave me the best prices too. The only reason I didn't hire them in the end is that I decided to work with a vendor who I had bought my floor tiles from and who I was planning to order backsplash tiles from and I wanted to simplify my order process.

Poor or no communications and updates during project.Poor quality work; [examples]marble tile floor was installed with wrong grout which has lead to discoloration, cracking and chipping out. Sub floor in one area is spongy.gap between installed cabinet and wall never finished offfinishing tiles at the intersection of the tub and wall were grouted with materials that has discolored (yellowed)bathroom hardware [towel bars and tp holders] were installed incorrectly, and did not hold. All had to be removed and reinstalled following the instructions which accompanied the hardware, which were not followed at original install.quoted $800 for plumbing work and the final bill was $2100 [ no work order changes] EC never obtained an actual quoted from the plumber.

Shortly after we decided to use Emerald City, John came to take measurements and brought a number of sample tiles so we could see how the product would look in our home. Within a few weeks, we got a call to arrange for installation. The crew came exactly when we agreed and everyone involved was friendly and respectful. The installation took only a few hours and the work included disconnecting the plumbing, removing the old countertop, cutting and laying the quartz, and finishing the edges. We also ordered a new sink from Emerald City that was mounted under the countertop. When the installation was complete, the crew cleaned up the area and removed all the old material. John had arranged for a local plumber to come and reconnect the water and install the new faucet we had purchased, and he arrived before 5:00 that day. After the installation was complete, we noticed that some deep scratches that were imbedded in the sink could not be removed by us. John agreed to replace the sink with another one from the manufacturer and install it for us for free. About a week later, John was back to replace the sink. We are very pleased with our new Cambria countertops and highly recommend Emerald City!

All services were performed very well, workmanship good, communication with John via email and telephone was very easy, all questions answered, everything explained, very well.

We found Emerald City through Angie's list. We needed to replace some old counter tops with granite at a home in Falmouth, MA. Beginning to end Emerald City made the process easy. I started by talking with Shayna in the office and scheduled the no charge estimate. They came out right away and Shayna gave us a estimate immediately thereafter. She responded quickly and professionally through the phone and email. The price was very good and we decided to go and pick out a stone at their store in Plymouth that weekend. We then met with John and he went over the process and explained everything to us. He told us he could schedule the job within a week or so and could make the process easy and even have his plumber show up right after he finished the job to hook up the new faucet and drain. The job was scheduled within a few days and about a week later Emerald City showed up on time as promised. I was especially impressed with the fact that they called the day before and on their way to our house to let us know they were coming. There were 3 workers that showed up to do the work. Everyone was very professional, they gave our dog lots of attention and you could tell they are nice people who care about their work. Within a few hours the job was completed. They kept the work area clean and took away our old counter top and sink. They cleaned up everything and made sure we were satisfied with the job. In summary from beginning to end this was a great experience. They made it easy and stress free. We are going to enjoy our new granite counters for years to come. We would highly recommend Emerald City to anyone. We are looking to have more work done with them on our bathrooms. A+

It was a very positive experience. Compared to the other quotes that I got, their price was medium. Their response time was very quick when I initially asked for a quote and they sent a guy to the house.

We didn't use their services. They are pretty amateurish. They don't have a showroom, they couldn't show us any cabinets and everything was out of the catalog. He went off the radar for weeks after he showed up and finally came back with this plan that didn't include anything to cook. It is like a fly by night kind of operation. We would not use them again.

It was the best experience with a contractor that we ever had. From start to finish it was handled professionally. John and Shana were helpful with no pressure. They were confident in their business and very down to earth. John was meticulous and proud of his work and his perfectionism showed in every detail. Zack made sure his job was up to John's standard. We couldn't believe how long he worked on his back under the sink to make sure it was stable. We have already given information to friends about Emerald City and will continue to do so. Everyone was professional and friendly. The installation was not without kinks but they used what could have been negative situations and turned them into exceptional customer service experiences. They would not rest until I was happy.

It went smooth and they were pretty quick. I think I caught him at a bad time however. They are a small company and I dealt with the owner which was nice. He told me he was going to be out one day and the job got delayed, because he was getting married that weekend. But you can’t really hold anything against him. I think he made some promises he couldn't keep, but then he delivered and came through shortly thereafter. I had a few complaints afterwards and he came right out and fixed it.

We love our new counter tops.Installation was quick.
