Mike Dean was great and a pleasure to work with. Gave some great ideas. Took floors that were 43 years old and made them look brand new. Mike and his team were professional. Finished right on time and what he quoted for the job is what was charged. No surprises. I have more work for him and will definitely be calling him back.

They were very professional and well equipped. They finished the job on time and they were very careful about clean-up and taking care not to damage anything. I would hire them in a heart-beat on my next job. They really knew what they were doing since they were able to solve problems others could not. And for all of this I found them reasonably priced and when extras occurred they did not take the opportunity to price gouge but instead were very fair.

Mike was on time and very professional. He did an awesome job on my floors. I have more floors yet to do and will be calling him back!

Mike Dean was terrific. The place where we bought our flooring talked us into a lot of materials we didn't need and Mike let us know that and we were able to save lots of money by returning them. He was professional, showed up on time and completed the job in the timeframe he told us. He did a beautiful job and is an extremely nice guy. i would highly recommend him.

Mike was very professional. Refinishing hardwood floors is messy but he container the dust and cleaned up after himself. I am extremely pleased.

Beware,Mike is a great guy but doesn't have a clue about refinishing floors. he kept telling me that he took extra care in sanding so the finished product would look great, Well he distroyed my floors, we have sanding drum marks every where gouges all over bubbles in the finish. When he was finished, I has stain all over my walls door knows trim, what a mess. we've been quoted over $10,000 to repair BeWARE!!!!!

Mike is a great guy. Very knowledgeable and was able to repair a floor that two other contractors told me couldn't be repaired. Saved me a ton of money, and the floors look great! Flooring MD is a very reputable, and trustworthy company. They did exactly what they said they would... For the price they quoted. No hidden costs, no cut corners - just a great job repairing and refinishing my damaged 62 year old hardwood floors. They look like new. I will definately call these guys back for other flooring jobs in the future!

Excellent to work with, on time, courteous, respectful of our home. Professional work with professional results. Our floors in our 300 year plus home are restored and look amazing. Plan to have them back when our upstairs bedrooms are ready for them. Couldn't be happier with the work & the owner.

I can not say enough about how pleased my husband and I with this company. Once the floors were snaded down we noticed that the newer wood that my husband had put down was a different color than what was there. We never noticed it because my husband had stained the floor. Mike took the time to explain what he could do to match it up without staining the whole floor and it wouldn't cost us any more money. Mike and his helper were here when they said and very professional. My neighbor came over last night to look at the job and couldn't beleive it they thought it was beautiful. Well done. It started with a return phone within hours of posting the request for quotes. ( the other 2 companies never even called back) We got a fast quote where we also requested quotes on additional work such as removing all the baseboards, etc. Flooring MD was very competitively priced so we went with them. They came on time the first day and worked throughout the week. They were very responsive to feedback on intermediate issues, some of which were due to the 100 degrees heat. Used water based poly at our request (highly recommended if you plan on occupying your house during the project). Responsive. We highly recommend them!

He gave the best quote, he was very knowledgeable and gave some good advice. He never once said he could not this for what we were asking him to do. He repaired the spots that we wanted him too with no problems and he also was very professional, he worked around the other contractors at the time of the project. He came when he said he was going too and finished the job with the approval of my wife and I.

He was professional in the beginning and completed the job on time. Less than a week later you could see where he missed area's under the cabinet and counters and now it's really obvious. I am using rugs to hide some of it. I have tried to reach him several times and get no return calls.

Removed tiled floor and replaced with wood - interleaved with existing wooden flooring. Lots of useful advice to help us decide how to proceed

MIke did an excellent job on our hardwood floors. We just bought a home with pine flooring throught the house - both upstairs and downstairs. The house was a foreclosure, and the flooring had suffered some water damage, resulting in issues with cupping and crowning. Mike was able to sand and finish areas that other contractors would not even touch (they wanted to replace my floors) and the floors look fantastic - just incredible. MIke therefore saved me alot of money through his expertise (and honesty). I am very pleased with MIke and his team and would hire him again.

Mike was great. He let us know if anything unexpected came up and always had options for us. We ran into a problem with timing (our fault, not Mike's) and he was very flexible with his time. He communicated the status of the project every couple of days and was all around great to work with. And the floors look fantastic!

Very responsive and professional. Did a great job matching my Eastern Pine wide boards and weaving in new boards for many patches required due to renovation work. They also sanded and applied poly on 2 floors of my townhouse as well as the entire pine stairway. A pleasure working with Mike and Scotte. Competitively priced.

I had my carpet removed and the hardwood floor underneath it finished plus one area has hardwood floor installed from scratch. Mike has done a great and professional job. Both Mike and Scott (his assistant) have been great. The price was very reasonable, Mike explained all charges and kept me updated on any changes and really finish the job really quick. Those guys are AWESOME
