Description of Work: They painted a barn 2 sheds and my house. They estimated the job would take 3 weeks but completed it in 1week by working long hours in 90 degree heat.. They repaired some damaged wood quickly and at a reasonable price. They cleaned up every day. In short they did a great job.

Description of Work: Hired RhinoShield to scrape and paint my house. They told me they would begin work on a certain week and I would hear from them before starting work. They showed up Monday morning and started to work. Work was estimated to take 2 weeks. It took 6. The foreman was rarely on site. The three laborers worked very hard but were not detail oriented. I told the foreman specifics on job and he never wrote them down. Had to tell him again and again. Contacted his supervisor on two occasions where he never got back to me. Carpentry was included but I had to point out clapboards they said they would replace but only did after I pointed them out. Some areas they stripped the paint very well. Other areas terrible. They hang their hat on their promise that they will not strip all areas down to bare wood, but there there is no consistency on this. Damaged my garage door and patio chairs, but said it was not them who caused the damage. Did not rehang my front door properly. I had to hire a handy man to fix. Their van stained my driveway and they did provide $$ for me to have it sealed. Spilled house paint on a the roof to my porch and tried to cover it up with gray paint to match shingles. When I pointed out that this was not the right way to fix they reshingled the entire porch roof without my permission. Clearly they are not roofers. Nails are exposed and overall not a good roofing job. Damaged an electrical outlet and then "fixed it". I had to point out that it would not work. They had to refix it. Painted all of the windows closed and I had to ask them to come back to razor blade them open. Windows were painted so poorly I had to ask them to come back a number of times so the storm windows could be reinstalled. They painted my front door and etched the glass in numerous places. I did not discover this until recently. I have more examples, but hate reliving it.

 + 0 moreI went with Rhino Shield rather than vinyl siding because Rhino is applied like paint, so they can apply it to round columns, garage doors and ceilings etc. where siding can't be used. These people did a really great job. Everyone I talked and met with was professional and polite and very purposeful. I was amazed at the level of prep work they did. They worked with a gutter guy so that they could paint the downspouts to match. It was a long process because of all that rain in early May, and because they did so much to prepare. The house looks great and I am very happy.

Description of Work: Only obtained a quote. RhinoShield is not paint per see so the quote was higher than paint but equal to vinyl siding. I decided to go with paint instead in case I wanted to change my house color in the future.

 + -1 moreOur house is actually stained and I wanted it stained and not painted. I didn't end up getting a quote because I found somebody else to stain it. They gave me a listing of homes they had done to look it. I am apprehensive of these new things and I'm not sure what they put in it. It is supposed to be a lifetime thing. When I called they were very nice. They wanted my husband to also be present and I didn't like that. They thought that if he was there a decision could be made on the spot. They seemed professional and they answered the phone. They had references with addresses of work they had done. They would give you as much information as you wanted. The price range was very broad until they come to actually see the house. I want more time to get feedback over the next several years. It is still too new for me and I would like it studied more.

 + -1 moreI chose them because they advertise that with their product they only have to come out and paint once and they never had to paint again. They did an excellent job with the work. They were not only capable to do the work, but they were very customer service oriented. They really responded to everything. They did all of intricate work right on and they even took the time to clean everything up. The price is not equivalent to a regular paint job so I thought that the price was fair.

 + -1 moreWe had an excellent first experience with the salesman. He gave us a price on the spot and their was no pressure to commit. He demonstrated the paint and told us about the process. We did not want to have siding done but also did not want to paint every 3-4 years. Once we signed, we did have to call the office to get the work scheduled but Jessica was very helpful, professional and always got back to us. The crew showed up on time and did not leave the job until it was finished. They were very nice. They completely removed the old paint from 70% of the house (the worst sides) and sanded the rest. There is a lot of dust which I didn't expect. The crew did clean up the site before they left for the weekend. It took a little over a week for the prep and 3 days for the paint. So far we are very happy with the results. As far as house colors you can pick any color on the Benjamin Moore color charts.
Description of Work: We have an expanded cape. Rhino Shield painted the house and trim. The trim was white and the house yellow.
