I obtained three estimates for the job of replacing an old roof as well as repairing/replacing trim and fascia boards on my father's house. While all the companies provided competitive estimates, , Brett actually took the time to discuss various options, walking around the house with me to explain what he and the team would or could do. When I received all the quotes back, Brett's was lower than the other two companies. I'm a former landlord who did much repair work on my properties, and with Brett taking the time to discuss this in detail gave me the added confidence that his was the right company for the job. Work commenced, the team did a great job, the work was promptly completed, and everything was cleaned up and put in the dumpster that Brett and the crew provided. The work was done correctly and at a fair price, I'm very satisfied with Baron Home Improvement and would recommend them highly.

Brett and his crew were fantastic. Aside from good workmanship, Brett stayed in continuous contact with me, updating me and providing advice to the scope of work performed. Brett provided good workmanship and excellent customer service skills which goes a long way with me. Honest, empathetic and no-nonsense. Look forward to doing business with Baron in the future. After having been exploited by an unprincipled roofer, I was desperate this summer of 2015 to have a much ruined roof replaced. I decided to consult Angie's List, for the first time, and to research diligently several roofers, as not to be taken again. For a first-time user of Angie's List I really struck gold in hiring Brett Sesnewicz of Baron Home Improvement, Pembroke, MA 02359. He had seemed the very best mark amongst Angie's offerings, and after having him work on my home, I know Brett Sesnewicz is better than the best! Brett not only replaced my roof, he exuded compassion and caring after my prior letdown by another. He was meticulous in his diagnoses and took the time to educate an amateur like me. Time was no expense for Brett when he helped this potential client to understand the many variables that pertained to my roofing needs. Brett was patient and selfless and would make a great teacher. He was so generous of spirit as to care that I really got it before signing on the dotted line. And get it I did! Another contractor whom I was considering, and whose total charge would have been just a bit less, had himself seemed a competent man. I discovered though that his felt, tar paper underlay was not nearly the quality of the Rhino synthetic underlay which Brett had prescribed. When a lead chimney needed replacement, the other contractor was willing to reuse materials which were part of the existing chimney. Brett flat out replaced the chimney. Also, Brett included a ridge vent for no charge at all versus the four-hundred dollar charge which the other contractor was willing to assign. I'm getting old and do not want to have to deal any time soon with another roofing job. From the second Brett and his men finished my new roof, my home really had the feel of dry, absolute dryness. I was especially aware and comforted that Brett had maximized protection for me against the distinct possibility that New England might experience another winter like the one we just survived in 2015. Again, he did so without charging an arm and a leg. I was so impressed by Brett's work that I hired him, as well, to replace my gutters and drains and to add a leaf guard- extra work that he discharged with the same generous pride which echoes the work ethic and virtue of my parents' greatest generation going back to World War II. Thanks, Brett! You have my vote any day!

brett is incredibly responsive. He calls you right back !! Other roofing companies ignored my calls. Work was done as promised and ahead of schedule. Great customer service

New roof on house and in law addition. Brett was very detailed about the services he was providing. Explained everything. Called right back if I had any questions. Workers arrived when he said and finished the project in one day. Neighbor told me that his workers walked around with a large magnet when project was complete to pick up all nails. Did not find one in my yard. That is very important to me as I have a 2 year old who runs all around the yard.

Brett and his team were very professional.They arrived on time, rapidly responded to all my inquiries, cleaned-up and had the whole job done in 3 days versus the original estimate of 4 days. The stairs look and feel great. I would definitely hire them again.

Phenomenal. Brett and his team were awesome from start to finish. He promptly responded to my initial inquiry regarding painting and doing some deck refinishing on a deck that was VERY neglected prior to our purchase of the home. He was able to give an estimate via pictures which aided us in deciding to change the deck entirely. Brett came out to give us a full estimate for replacing with pvc decking we had chosen. He was pleasant and polite and did not pressure us in any way, which was awesome. The work itself went super smoothly and the entire project was finished in 4 days. The crew kept the area neat and tidy and did a great job of cleaning up after the project was finished. Brett was in contact throughout the time to ensure we were satisfied with progress. When I explained there was one board that appeared to have been a little miss-molded he, without hesitarin, said he would replace it so we could have the perfect deck! Could not have asked for a better experience! Deck now looks amazing!

Right from the start Brett listened to my concerns and explained things in an easy to understand manner. The roof went on first- everything went smoothly. Took 1 week from start to finish as Brett said. Crew were very understanding of my 86 yr old mother and even helped to push her up the ramp when she would come home from treatments. Several weeks later they returned to do the shingling. Took about 1 1/2 weeks to do as the weather made it challenging. Showed up on time and everything was neat and secure at the end of each work day. Brett even did some extra's such as replaceng flood light that was old and hung replacement lights not part of the origonal deal. Brett checked in with me throughout both jobs to make sure we were happy with the job. After they were finished everything was restored to it's origonal setting and I only found 1 nail on the ground ( a friend told me to expect to be finding nails on the ground). Both jobs very well done.

Brett was courteous, professional, efficient and considerate. He saved me money and offered excellent advice on materials and upkeep. I would definitely use him again and recommend him to others.

Brett took time out of his busy schedule to meet with us just a few days after I got in touch through Angie's List. His crew came a few days later to repair our damage. They were quickly able to resolve our issue and I would use them in the future for any more repairs.

The work was completed over a three-day period and was done very well. This is a 5000sf house so it was a major job. We were very pleased with Brett and the whole work team. They arrived early and stayed late keeping the area clean and orderly at all time. There were no surprises and the final cost was as originally estimated. I would highly recommend this company for this type work.

His response was prompt. He took time to explain the problem and what needed to be done to correct it. Although he came just for an estimate, he repaired our garage gutters - which had been leaking from the time they were installed (by another contractor. )

Excellent. Fast service, contacted me several times about the job. Came on time, neat work and cleanup. He will return in a few weeks to finish gutter work- snow prevents work from being done now.

Like many this winter, my father's house experienced ice dams. Water had begun leaking down the walls into the cellar. I found Baron Home Improvement through Angie's List. I echo many of the other past reviews. Brett was very quick to return my call. He explained what would be done and noted due to the high demand, he wasn't able to do the typical in person review before providing the estimate. It was instead based mainly off my description of the house. The guys were at my father's house the next day. Between two of them, it took an hour or so to complete the job. They cleared snow from the roof and cut out 4 or 5 spots along each gutter. Again, as some others have said, it seemed like the price might be a bit high for the time spent to complete the task. However, given the nature of the work, the demand for it, and being insured, this comes out to be a fair rate (and even reported in some tv news stories as such). The bottom line regardless...a prompt reply, quick turnaround on completing the work, and the leaks stopped. My father's mind is at ease and thus mine as well. I would recommend Brett and his team to others and would consider them for future work.

Brett is the owner of Baron Home Improvement and he was there with me from beginning to end helping me with difficult decisions and was prompt and honest about timelines for all projects. He always has a great crew of people that work for him. Brett has been to our home many many times to fix anything we need that he originally installed or refurbished. Brett is honest, hardworking and down to earth, he tells it like it is and I recommend to anyone to use his services over a cheaper company, you get what you pay for and I prefer to know the real price up front. Brett does not surprise you with add on costs at the end of a project. Brett's company was able to come out the next day to remove snow from our roof, it was fast, fare priced and dependable service Brett has also traveled to our Cape home and checked on any issues after he installed an entire new roof. I can't say enough positive amazing things about Baron Home Improvement!!!!!!!! I use him for all construction needs to this day.

:Like a lot of others in this area at present, I had ice dams all over my house and inside damage (leaks and wall). I called over 12 providers when I started seeing the water dripping down into the electrical panel. Brett called me back in less than an hour and set me up for the next day which was a godsend (I didn't receive a call back from anyone else - and that includes others on Angie's List. I thought the price was on the high side but, having talked to others, it was right on or maybe a little below.

The team arrived and promptly got to work removing snow and ice from my roof. The house is rather large and they were completed in about 2 hours, including the removal of any snow/ice that fell on the walkway and driveway. Brett was in constant communication with me from the time he responded to my initial request, through the job and then summarizing the completed work and any subsequent damage found (thankfully, there was none). Brett was a pleasure to deal with and I will certainly use his services in the future. Excellent job!

Brett's crew removed snow and ice dams from my roof and did a great job. The roof is almost entirely clear of ice now. When I told Brett my ceiling was already leaking, he managed to fit me in to a busy schedule right away -- the job was done the next day, which I much appreciated. Brett has done some roofing work for me in the past. He treats his customers very well, and so they are loyal to him. That simple. The price for this project was pretty much what everyone is charging, as far as I can tell, maybe a bit less.

We had lots of snow and ice dams around the entire house. Water began leaking into several places in the house. I called several companies, and Baron Home Improvement was the first to get back to me. They were able to come out the next day and remove all ice dams and shovel off the roof. I had several conversations with Brett. He took the time to fully explain the process with me and provide honest answers to all of my questions. I was very happy with the customer service and his prompt response to my phone calls. I would definitely recommend this company to friends and family.

Brett was so very helpful and informative. I had major concerns with another upcoming storm headed our way and already had quite a bit of snow on the roof along with ice damns around the entire house. He was able to get his crew out the same day and they did a fantastic job!!! I will definitely be calling him back in the spring for other jobs!

Due to ice dams, I had several leaks in my home. I had contacted several companies to remove the snow and ice dams and was put on several wait lists. I contacted Baron Home Improvement and the phone was answered by Brett. I shared what was happening with my home and asked him if he could shovel my roof and remove the ice dams. Brett held a 30 minute conversation with me regarding the pros and cons of doing so, given that another major storm was on the way. He was so honest and patient with my many questions. I found his honesty refreshing. He let me know that there were risks to removing both the snow and ice dams. After careful consideration I decided to go ahead with the project. Brett heard the frustration and concern in my voice and said he would try to get someone that day or the next to my home to handle the job. Ten minutes later he called me back and said two men would be at my home within an hour. Really!!! In less than an hour his employees showed up. They assessed the areas that were leaking and then went to work removing the snow and ice dams. They did a fantastic job and cleaned up the snow that they removed from my roof. Most of the leaks stopped immediately and the last two within an hour of the job being finished. I am so glad that I found Brett. We had a great experience with Brett and Baron Home Improvement. I was able to get him on the phone with my first phone call, and he was out that same day to do an estimate. He wasn't able to fit the job in his schedule for 6-8 weeks, but he was totally up front about it from the time we signed the contract for the work, and he was right on for when the work started. It took 1 1/2 days and the gutters were put up a couple days later because the job ended up running into the week of Christmas. The work looks great, Brett was totally available by phone for any questions we had. We are new homeowners with zero home improvement knowledge, and he was awesome in answering all of our questions, providing rough numbers for other work we were considering, and not taking advantage of our inexperience with these kind of projects. He also completed the work without any added expense, as there were some small unexpected problems that needed additional labor and materials in order to complete the contracted work. I will definitely recommend him and use him in the future.

Brett and his team did a fabulous job. They were able to complete the project all in one day. Brett was very informative, friendly and responsive. My husband and I were so impressed and will definitely call him if we ever need anything else done. Very reasonable pricing and very highly recommended.
