Paul Saulnier and his workers were punctual and professional. They came right away for an estimate. The project was done in a timely fashion especially since we were in a time crunch. Paul worked with me as I was having other things being done to the house. The final product looks great. I am very picky and I was pleased.

Paul Saulnier & his crew exceeded our expectations in the quality of work they provided. They were pleasant, courteous, always on time, very responsive to our requests, hardworking, & did a great job. The dustless sander helped with eliminating a lot of dust. The crew even cleaned up great when they were done. It was a great experience from the start when we had our estimate to the delivery of wood & the installation of our new floors.

It went very well. Took three days. All day the first day from 7:30 -5:30. The second day, they arrived about 7:30 again. The third day the same thing. They arrived everyday at precisely the time they said they would. Very hardworking young men. Did a beautiful job on my floors.

Very well. I was 9 months pregnant, and we weren't sure we were up to dealing with getting the floors done. These guys were very good at returning my calls and handling my requests all of which I wanted done ASAP. I probably caught them at a good time for availability, but they sent people out within days of giving us an estimate. Bob, who did the estimate was very nice and I found him to be very professional. I specifically stated that I'm very meticulous, so the workers spent a full day repairing nearly every board I complained about and the new boards blend perfectly with the old. The next 2-3 days were sanding and staining, and the job came out very nicely and ahead of schedule. Also, these guys advertised themselves as dustless, but I wasn't sure I believed them. It was indeed dustless - I had no cleanup at all to do when they were done. I have had the $1,300 floor job done before - dust EVERYWHERE and the shine is like a bowling alley. These guys were worth the extra money!

Fantastic! They were quick to provide an estimate. They provided a lot of good advice while providing the estimate. They pointed out issues and details other vendors did not. They did the work as scheduled. No surprises. They were careful not to compromise any of the other finish work that had been completed. The floors came out better than I thought possible.

He was very polite. He does not smoke and does not swear. He takes pride in his work and cleans up after himself. I never go for the cheapest people because I believe that you get what you pay for.

I was told it usually takes one to two days for an estimate to be emailed to me, but since the work to be done was going to be a little more complicated it would take an extra couple of days. I did not hear back for them even after first emailing and then calling and leaving a message with someone a week after we met.

They never gave me my estimate. He was arrogant and suggested I have my furniture put in storage why they did the floor.

Outstanding! We had asked for a bid from another company, which had balked at the amount of demo needed in order to install the hardwood. Saulnier's rep came out, acknowledged the problems with the tile, but did not have a defeatist attitude. They provided a bid that could be broken out if certain work was not to be performed. Their recommendations for work were superb. As stated above, the workers were prompt and did their work in an incredibly professional manner. Work areas were taped off to limit the amount of dust to the rest of the house. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

Robert Tucker and Paul Saulnier were thoughtful and patient throughout the estimating process and during follow up, when I had them return to touch up some spots. The floors are gorgeous and they did repairs with perfectly matched, salvaged wood - a tall order for our old, unique house. Expensive but worth it - a top rate job.

My overall experience was very good. They came on time, were courteous and respectful of our schedule. The dustless sanding equipment they used was true to it's name, and generated virtually no dust, so it was easy to live in the house during the project. The floors turned out very well.

THE COMPANY WAS THOROUGH, KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING, AND INCREDIBLY HELPFUL AND HONEST AT ANSWERING ALL MY QUESTIONS. THEY ARE NOT THE CHEAPEST, BUT I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. OUR FLOORS LOOK BEAUTIFUL.

PAUL SAULNIER INSPECTED THE HOUSE, TOLD US WHAT WOULD BE NECESSARY, GAVE US A QUOTE, STUCK WITH THE QUOTE. HE ALSO HELPED US CHOOSE THE BEST BAMBOO FOR OUR NEEDS. HIS STAFF INSTALLED THE FLOOR BEAUTIFULLY ON A VERY TIGHT SCHEDULE. THE FLOOR WAS BAMBOO AND IS SENSITIVE TO HUMIDITY. THEY MADE SURE THAT THE HOUSE WAS DRY ENOUGH FOR THE FLOOR TO BE LAID PROPERLY WITHOUT WARPING OR OTHER PROBLEMS. THE FLOOR IS PERFECT AND BEAUTIFUL. WHEN PEOPLE COME INTO THE HOUSE, EVERYONE ADMIRES THE WORK AS WELL AS THE FLOOR ITSELF. WE ALSO HAVE HAD THEM REFINISH FLOORS IN A CONDO THAT WE OWN. THEY ADVISED THAT WE TAKE CERTAIN MEASURES TO MINIMIZE THE WORK THAT WOULD HAVE TO BE DONE IN THE FUTURE, FOR EXAMPLE, CREATING A VISUAL THRESHOLD BETWEEN ROOMS AND HALLWAYS SO THAT ONLY THE SECTION THAT HAS BEEN WORN OR DAMAGED IN THE FUTURE WOULD HAVE TO BE REFINISHED, RATHER THAN THE WHOLE APARTMENT. WE WILL USE THEM WHENEVER WE NEED HARDWOOD FLOOR WORK DONE.

THE MAIN THING THEY DID WRONG WAS THAT AFTER SANDING OUR FLOORS THEY DID NOT DO A VERY GOOD JOB OF SAWDUST REMOVAL. THEREFORE NOT ONLY WAS THE HOUSE A DUSTY MESS, BUT THE QUALITY OF THE FINISH THEY APPLIED TO THE FLOORS WAS SIGNIFICANTLY AFFECTED BY DUST FALLING ON IT AS IT DRIED. THEY ALSO DID SOME DAMAGE TO TWO WALLS AS THEY MOVED DOORS AROUND DURING THE INSTALLATION. THEY WERE SOMETIMES DIFFICULT TO GET HOLD OF AND GETTING CLEAR SCHEDULING INFORMATION WAS NOT EASY. THE WORKERS I MET WERE NOT DRESSED AT ALL PROFESSIONALLY. THEY LEFT A LOT OF DEBRIS AND GARBAGE BEHIND. THEY ALSO LEFT A GRAFFITI IN POOR TASTE ON OUR KITCHEN MESSAGE BOARD, AND BROKE THE KEY I GAVE THEM SO THEY COULD GET INTO THE HOUSE. THEY ALSO DID NOT FINISH THE WORK BY THE DATE THEY HAD ORIGINALLY PROMISED.

THIS COMPANY WAS DEFINITELY EXPENSIVE (THERE ARE PLACES THAT WOULD HAVE DONE IT FOR HALF THE PRICE), HOWEVER I HAVE TO SAY THEY DID AN ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS JOB! MY FLOORS WERE A MESS AND NOW THEY LOOK BETTER THAN NEW! ALSO, I HAVE A LOT OF ALLERGIES AND CHEMICAL SENSITIVITIES AND WAS VERY WORRIED ABOUT THE DUST AND FUMES. THEY ARE EXPERIENCED IN WORKING WITH PEOPLE WITH SUCH PROBLEMS, AND THE DUSTLESS SANDER (WHICH VACUUMS AS IT SANDS) WAS DEFINITELY WORTH THE EXTRA MONEY FOR ME. THERE IS ALMOST NO SANDING DUST IN THE HOUSE AT ALL. ALSO THEY RECOMMENDED THE SAFECOAT AS BEING A GOOD CHOICE, AND I THINK IT WAS. THERE IS SOME ODOR, BUT NOTHING COMPARED TO THE OILBASED STUFF. I AM VERY SENSITIVE TO CHEMICALS, AND AFTER 3 WEEKS IT IS NOW HARDLY BOTHERING ME. I THINK I WILL BE ABLE TO MOVE IN TO THE HOUSE IN ANOTHER 3 WEEKS OR SO. (MOST PEOPLE WOULD NOT NOTICE ANYTHING AT ALL AT THIS POINT.) WITH THE OIL FINISH PLUS DUST IT WOULD HAVE BEEN LITERALLY 8 TO 10 MONTHS BEFORE I COULD LIVE THERE

THE WORK WAS DONE ON TIME FOR A REASONABLE PRICE.

THEY CAME IN, SANDED QUICKLY ON THE FIRST DAY, AND PUT DOWN THREE COATS OF POLYURETHANE OVER THREE DAYS. VERY POLITE AND EASY TO WORK AROUND. THEY EVEN GAVE ME A GOOD PRICE ON BRAND NEW BIRCH FLOORING PLUS INSTALLATION WHEN IT WAS FOUND THAT THE UNDERLYING BIRCH STRIP FLOORING WAS DAMAGED BEYOND EASY REPAIR. HAD I ANY MORE FLOORS TO REFINISH, I WOULD GLADLY HIRE THEM AGAIN.

I CALLED FOR AN ESTIMATE ON REFINISHING HARDWOOD FLOORS. MY CALL WAS RETURNED WITHIN 24 HOURS, BUT THE PERSON WITH WHOM I SPOKE (PAUL?) SAID THAT THE TRAVEL FEE FOR GOING TO OUR AREA WOULD PROBABLY MAKE THEM A POOR CHOICE. HE OFFERED TO WORK WITH US IF WE COULDN'T FIND A MORE AFFORDABLE OPTION IN OUR AREA, HOWEVER.

SAULNIER FLOORS WAS NOT THE LOWEST QUOTE WE GOT, BUT I CAN TELL YOU SOMETIMES YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. FLOORS WERE A MESS TO BEGIN WITH AND THEY DID A WONDERFUL JOB. THEY LOOK PERFECT NOW, ALL OLD AND NEW SURFACES MATCH PERFECTLY. THE WORK IS IMPECCABLE, OUR FLOORS ARE GORGEOUS, THE WORKERS WERE PUNCTUAL, COURTEOUS, ALL WORK WAS DONE ON TIME. GREAT JOB.
