They were very good! They were very professional and courteous. They did a really great job. They do very meticulous work. I was very happy with them and they offered a very reasonable price. I will definitely use them again.

I smelled gas around my gas fireplace on Wednesday 4/7. Called the gas company and they confirmed a small gas leak and indicated a plumber would need to come out and fix . Checked the list, so the high rating for RP Mclaughlin and called Thursday afternoon, 4/8. Asked if it was rush, said no, since we would not be using it, and asked if they could come out on Monday, 4/12 at 9Am. Bob showed up well before 9, checked it out and pointed out the installation, as it stood, was putting stress on the joint which if fixed will likely cause another leak overtime. He said he was going to change the placement of the joint and flex pipe so that the joint and seam will not be stressed and leak again. He went right to work changed the set up, fixed the leak and put everything back as before then re-lit the pilot. The whole thing took about an 1/2 hour, Bob was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. This was a very positive experience for a reasonable sum. I will definitely call RP Mclaughlin again for my plumbing needs.

The best part about my experience with McLaughlin was the punctuality and professionalism. They came out to look at our water damage on a holiday, too. The man who performed the work was not the man who did the estimate, but he was equally professional.

Josh came to handle it and he was punctual, polite and professional. Unfortunately, less than a week after clearing the drain, it began moving slowly again. He returned and snaked the drain this time and apologized for the fact that it had not been completely cleared the first time. The drain has been fine since then. I would not hesitate to use them for future plumbing issues!

It was very good. They were extremely responsive, as we just called them this weekend. They were willing to work with our schedule, to make sure the time works best for us. We would definitley use them again.

I called the company to set my appointment, I wanted a specific date since I was having other work done at my home and needed to take a day off from work. The appointment was set for 8 am which was good for me. Josh called me at approximately 7:30 to tell me he was on his way and may arrive a little early. He got to my home at approximately 7:45 and we went over the work he needed to do. He started his work, he was very professional and worked very neatly. The job replacing the bathroom faucet was a bit more complicated than normal since we have a pedestal sink and Josh needed to take apart the sink to replace the faucet. He did a great job and my wife is very happy with the way the faucet she picked out looks. I am very happy with the work done. The price was not cheap but I was able to get a 10% discount due to a coupon they had on Angie's list. Josh was great and really knew his stuff.

I noticed the toilet was leaking around 10 Am. I called RP McLaughlin and left a message. Josh called me back within 15 minutes, told me that he could come by in the early afternoon, and said he would get back to me with an exact time. He called back around 12:30 and was here within 15 minutes. He knew exactly what was wrong and took care of the problem. He was incredibly professional. The responsiveness of this company was extraordinary--instead of trying to patch a leak over New Year's, they came right out and resolved the problem.

The company said they would send someone to the house between 1:00 and 3:00. A gentleman named Matt showed up at the house at 1:30. He uncloged the bathroom sink and cleaned out the kitchen sink as well. He answered all my questions and was done in less than an hour.I showed my basement drain pipe and he offered a few helpful suggestions.

The company called me back right away and set up an appointment within a few days. The plummer, Josh, did a great job. I'd highly recommend this company and plan to use them again for additional projects.

Came when they said they would, analyzed the problem, suggested a solution, and offered to use the rest of the hour to fix anything else. Cleaned up after themselves, professional and courteous.

I called on Sunday night to schedule a service call the following morning, since it wasn't an emergency. They were supposed to call me Monday morning between 7 and 8 AM, but no one called so I called them around 8:15. They apologized for not calling, said the plumber would be at my place between 9 and 10 AM and would call when he was on his way. The plumber did indeed call sometime between 9 and 10, and arrived shortly thereafter. He knew immediately what to do - apparently it's not an uncommon occurrence -and after removing the lever hardware, asked me if I wanted him to replace all of the hardware or simply reconnect the lever. He said a replacement would work better going forward, so I told him to replace the hardware, which he did. The cost was the same. It took about 10 minutes or so, after which he asked me if there was anything else I wanted done, so I asked him to replace the caulk bead around the base of the shower spigot, which I had originally put on several years ago after replacing the spigot itself. He did that quickly and neatly - much more neatly than I did on the original job - and cleaned up afterward. The job was done quickly and professionally and the plumber was courteous and friendly.

My friends put in a stock toilet from Home Depot for me and within a few days the toilet was leaking all over. My friends used the basic install kit that came with the toilet and R P McLaughlin said that was the reason that the toilet was leaking (they actually said my friends did a correct job installing it - just the install kit that came with the toilet was very cheap). They proceeded to fix it, but it was a lot of money...especially when I've been quoted by other companies for a full installation of a toilet (including the toilet!!) for $300. Overall they were an excellent company, but they are just a bit pricey for my taste. They are very thorough and explain everything. No complaints except for the price. =)

Josh arrived exactly when he said I would. When I called to make the appointment, they asked me if it was an emergency, and I said it wasn't. They schedule my an appointment within a week, which was fine with me -- I'd rather have a plumber who's in demand. Josh performed all the work flawlessly, and cleaned up after himself impeccably. I had put out a large trash barrel he could use for the trash he was removing, but he carted the trash away in his truck, which was fantastic. All the repairs were done within 3 hours, including unclogging that shower drain that I had been unable to do myself with a hand auger. The price and speed were fantastic. I can't speak for every plumber at R.P. McLaughlin, but Josh was superb!

I gave him a call, he was right there and he was so spontaneous that he finished the job immediately. I almost gave up on my water heater, as there was a problem with the connection, but he re-fixed the problem and I was able to use the same old one. He was reasonable and the quality of service was excellent.

We had a radiator that was partially built into the wall from a previous remodel. We wanted it removed, but didn't think it could be done without tearing out the shower. Bob came out and looked at the job and said it wouldn't be easy, but could be done. Matt came out and had the radiator out in less than an hour! He was prompt, polite and thorough. He did an excellent job with the irrigation system in the basement, running the pipes to allow for maximum headroom. All in all, a wonderful experience. We will surely call them back with any further needs.

I was satisfied with the work. We had no problems with them. The plumber was respectful.

Excellent experience. Used Angie's list for referral - phone call was returned quickly - first visit for estimate went well - they provided me my options. They mailed an estimate in a timely fashion - I accepted the bid and they were able to slide me in very quickly. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

When we called RP McLaughlin, they came the same day. They had my toilets fixed within 1/2 hour. They did a good job. I would use them again in the future.

Overall, the service went quite well. Matt was knowledgeable, personable and very professional. He and his office were very responsive. The price was reasonable for the work done and to avoid any future troubles. I would call R P Mclaughlin Co. again for a plumbing issue.

The company called me back right away on a weekend after leaving a message with their answering service. I opted not to address this as an emergency, so as promised, someone called me Monday AM to book an appointment, which they did within a time window for the next day. The next morning, they wanted to shift the appointment due to traffic and contacted me directly, letting me know they would be coming 1-2 hours late and then they called again when they were on their way. While the job was simple, it was done quickly and professionally. The plumber provided additional information on how to prevent the problem in the future and even reattached our heat tape onto the new pipe sections. He honored the Angie's List coupon(even though my printer was broken and I didn't have a printout). And asked if there was anything else that he could help with while he was there, which I thought was great. I asked him a question about our heating system(which they also do)but they don't work on forced hot air systems. He gave me a referral, however to another company.

I am really happy with them, they were great. There were here right away, got the job done and didn't leave a mess.

Something was leaking in our downstairs bathroom, we weren't really sure if it was coming from the toilet or the heating system as it was seeping in the floor near both of them. After eliminating the heating system, we called R P McLaughlin and they came out the next morning. They quickly identified the problem and had a part on the truck and fixed it. They cleaned up, collected payment right there. I would definitely call them again.
