I have owned my house for 20 years and have had a lot of work crews in and out of my place over that time. The McLaughlin team was by far the cleanest, most polite, and efficient crew I have seen. They did a great job and I definitely recommend Bob and the team!

Plumber showed up on time and acted in a friendly but professional manner. Got the job done well. The only reason for a "B" for cost is because I believe all plumbers are too expensive (not a black mark for these guys). :) I would happily hire again.

We’ve used R. P. McLaughlin over years, generally with good results, but this experience has been bad. We have a broken bathtub spout/diverter. A service person came in early February, and given a particular style of our American Standard shower system, recommended ordering a matching part and coming back to install. When asked how long it would take, he said about a week. We needed to get the shower fixed quickly, but agreed. He took a picture of the spout and left. About a month later in early March we still haven’t heard anything, so my wife called the office, and was assured the part would be received by March 12, and installed immediately after that. About 3 weeks later we still didn’t hear anything, so my wife called again and was told the person who orders parts was out that week, so no information was available. Now it’s April, almost 2 months later after “about a week” our shower is still broken, and we have no idea what is going on. Very unprofessional, and we probably need to look for another plumbing company that would actually do what they promise, or at least have the courtesy to call and provide an update if the part is not available or there is a delay. By the way, I am not an expert, but I believe I’ve found the needed part on Amazon after a 5 minute search.

I measure the company, by the employee's they hire. The plumber (Daniel) was outstanding. He was very professional, polite and punctual. Daniel, came in and immediately went to work. Found the problem and made the necessary repairs. Now, I have only one plumbing & heating company, and that's R. P. McLaughlin Co. Peabody.

Took my call, I explained the work needed. They told me they could take care of it, and that I should text them the pictures of the shower heads and faucets. Never responded. Called back and never got an answer.

They took the new toilet out of my car, and installed them upstairs. They went above & beyond their duty after installing my new toilet by inspecting a problem in my tub drain; they are polite & respectful; very professional.

The plate started leaking on a Sunday. We reviewed the risk of the leak over the phone and came to the conclusion a weekend service visit was not required, Came by on Monday, provided an estimate to repair the system and the risks of the work. Scheduled the repair, got it done without any issue.

Went by the numbers. All done in about one hour. Works beautifully!!!

They did an excellent job replacing our boiler.

Called McLaughlin Plumbing at 10AM. Tyler got here within 2 hours. He was friendly and professional. He fixed our problem quickly.

The technician solved the problem quickly and expertly. Very helpful and polite.

Matt evaluated the situation and agreed the problem may be partly due to the septic needing pumping. He snaked the system after installing an access port. He tested the system and flow was good. We will have the septic pumped and expect the problem is solved.

Sabrina was awesome managing the plumber, drain folks, and masons. The work was emergent and they were able to get out quickly. I would highly recommend using them.

Great-expensive, but they did a great job. Easy to schedule, they arrived promptly, installed the new toilet efficiently and took old one away.

Okay, but left old arm in the toilet and it broke shortly thereafter. Should have replaced the whole arms section but the guy didn't have the parts. This was after leaving in the middle of the appt to get a new pump for inside the toilet. Expensive job, but that's just the way plumber's are.

NOT GREAT, ACTUALLY LEFT HOLE IN THE WALL. BUT NOT HIS FAULT, AND THE OUTLET HE LEFT IS MUCH BETTER. VERY PROFESSIONAL

Very good. Excellent. Their businesslike, and compared to some providers I worked with, professional. Courteous, businesslike. They were within every quote that I had got.

They got the sink in and done correctly.

Plummer did an excellent job, after a day a slight leak was discovered in one of the pipe joints...called the company ...they came down the next day and fixed the problem. Very satisfied customer.
