The team was awesome, efficient and took care with our belongings. It was a long hot day, but they worked hard and without a complaint about the heat! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would give them more stars if I could.

Mass Bay Movers was great! We had a house flood and had to evacuate quickly. They came to our house the next day and packed everything up, moved, and stored all our household goods during the home renovation. When they returned our stuff they were very careful with everything--especially the piano. They even put felt on all the bottoms of the furniture which was great for our new floors! Nothing was damaged and everything went very smoothly. I would definitely recommend them and use them for our next move.

This post is long overdue but no less sincere! We used Mass Bay Movers back on October 19, 2023. My husband and I had never moved a full house from one location to another. From their initial visit to our house for an accurate estimate, to the professionalism of Nexon and his crew, we really appreciate the time, care and effort they all put in to our move. I want to thank Nexon, Edwin, Junior, Carlos, Felix and Joshua for making a very stressful day much more manageable! What a great crew! It clearly shows that they all enjoy working together. We cannot thank them enough for all their hard work.

Mass Bay Movers did an awesome job. Their three guys showed up at the schedule time and were very promotional. They were moving a 100 year old piano from Westwood to the Cape. They carefully wrapped the piano to protect it and delivered it in perfect condition. They then moved an electric piano from the Cape to Westwood. Thank you, Carole

This was our 4th move with Mass Bay, they are professional, attentive and respectful. We have had Earl as our team lead for each move, I feel like he is part of the family. Mass Bay and Earl are the only movers I will call or recommend.

Best moving experience ever. We were recommended to use this company by our coworkers and did not regret it at all. We had an amazing team of 3 movers - Jonathan, Cameron and William. They came on time, were very polite and respectful, wrapped, disassembled and moved everything carefully. I liked the fact they used floor covers to protect the floors. Just a positive experience overall that made moving less stressful. Cost of service was reasonable in my opinion and definitely worth the money.

I've never had a move like this before. Went very smoothly. The three man team was polite, punctual,and very willing to assist with whatever I needed done. They came directly from the storage bin to my home, no 60-minute detour on this 5-minute drive (which I experienced with another mover). Highly recommend them!

Mass Bay Movers did a great job moving some dressers upstairs where the furniture company could not get to. Mass Bay was prepared to hoist through the upstairs window if needed, but it never came to that. They were prompt and friendly and gave a fair price. I'm very happy that I found them. This was in Salem, MA.

Following a house fire we had furniture moved and stored by MassBay Movers. When those items were returned we found extensive damage, so we filed a claim. In an e-mail, MassBay offered a monetary settlement of $860. We tried to discuss the claim further, but they would not answer our emails. After the third or fourth try, they simply wrote back: We have sent you our offer of $850.00 [sic]. This is our final offer.” We called to discuss the claim as well as their bad customer service, and they did call us back, but would not negotiate on any part of the claim. Being worn out by the process, we emailed saying we would accept the offer. When they sent a release form, it included an “anti-disparagement clause” that basically said neither we nor any of our family or friends could make disparaging remarks about the company on social media or anywhere else, or they’d have the right to go after the settlement money. We now understand why there seem to be only glowing reviews online! This clause violates the Federal Consumer Review Fairness Act of 2016 by stopping us from reviewing their services or conduct online or in any other way; and by imposing penalties or fees (in this case, claiming the right to a refund of the settlement amount) if we do post a review of their services or conduct. Customers beware. The moving team we had was careful. The experience at the warehouse was another thing entirely. Furniture did need to be brought onto the floor for insurance inspection. Somewhere in the process, antique furniture was wrapped in packing tape without any blankets. There are white paint streaks on the edges of many pieces. We expected some damage, but not as extensive as was found. But even worse, our experience with MassBay Movers is that the company is unprofessional in its treatment of its clients and continues to break the law with its anti-disparagement clause. We believe we should be able to receive payment for damages AND write an honest review without penalty.

Mass Bay Movers was the best moving experience I could ask for! The movers were professional, careful with my belongings, and super friendly. They took the time to get to know me and kept the energy very positive on this transition day. They were able to hoist my couch from my 3rd floor apartment without scratching or damaging the exterior. I was so impressed with the teamwork they displayed. I will absolutely be using Mass Bay again. The sales reps were awesome too! They asked all the right questions and gave me a very accurate estimate. I felt like they were advocating for me the whole time. Moving sucks and this experience made my life so much easier. These guys worked for only a few hours and accomplished more than what I could do in a week. I'm so grateful for their help! Go Mass Bay!!

MassBay Movers made moving apartments so much more efficient and easy. After calling to ask questions about the services, I was able to get a quote online and communicate directly with a representative to ask more questions, make changes as needed, etc. They were able to store my boxes overnight in addition to loading/unloading. The day before the move, I had an email and a call to confirm the details. My movers were amazing - on time, communicative, took care of all my items and were extra careful with fragile belongings. I highly recommend MassBay movers!

The team of three had everything unloaded and in my new home in very short order; they were courteous, considerate and efficient.

They were able to schedule a move of my family's piano within a week. The day before my appointment they called to ask if we were free to shift it up a day earlier because of another cancellation. It worked out for my family and we got it done even sooner! They offered a flat rate to move just the piano, it was about 45 minutes between destinations.

Excellent experience. The movers were organized and efficient, even in my condo complex where parking is not the closest. I was blown away with how fast they were able to get everything properly wrapped up and into the truck. I would 100% recommend Mass Bay Movers to anyone looking to move!

3 man team was considerate, efficient, and handled all items delicately. They made sure to add extra layers of protection to ensure both safety and ease of carriage. There were unique challenges to the building I was moving into but they took each of those perfectly in stride without the slightest note of inconvenience. All throughout they were jovial and happy to chat. They assisted in dis-assembling and re-assembling pieces of furniture. I was only too happy to tip each of them well and would absolutely hire this company again.

I am extremely satisfied with my move. Rich, Marcos, and Marcus worked tirelessly - not only did it require a twoday-move, the trip itself was 300+miles round-trip, up a second and third floor loft. The guys were super professional and surpassed my expectations. Erica scheduled the move and was in constant communication with me always pleasant and eager to help with any adjustments. Overall, I would highly recommend Mass Bay Movers without question!

Everything from the first call, to scheduling, to the actual move went very smooth and fast. The people I communicated with in the office were really helpful and the movers were on time, respectful and very careful with our possessions. We had them move large furniture including a Peloton and they knew exactly what to do and how to do it. They were great!

As a professional organizer, I can attest that Mass Bay Movers did a phenomenal job of packing everything with all parts and pieces together which made unpacking a breeze. Very professional and friendly crew as well. Highly recommend!!

Mass Bay Movers did an excellent job cleaning out the furniture and unwanted items from our office even while some of our staff were on-site working. There were five moves all working hard, respectfully with their masks on, and quietly to ensure our work environment was still able to be maintained. They left the space very neat and clean, which was greatly appreciated. Looking forward to working with them in the near future as we continue our moving process!

The guys were great. My apartment was on the second floor and I also had items in the basement so there were lots of stairs for the movers to climb. Fortunately, there is an elevator at the apartment complex I moved into. The guys were professional and hard working. The move went very smoothly. I have recommended Mass Bay Movers to friends and will continue to recommend them.
