I scheduled a an appointment with Ricky from H&B Home Solutions, for the earliest he had time which was this morning at 9:30am. A little after 9:45am this morning I called to confirm that he was still coming, and he said that “oh no his boss scheduled him somewhere else”. He proceeded with saying that I need to talk to his boss (Richard) to reschedule, and gave me a bogus number to call. The number never rings (automatically ends call upon dialing). I called Ricky back but he won’t answer my call anymore, I also texted him (following our earlier text conversation when booking the appointment), and he still didn’t answer me. What I find interesting is that he said his boss needs to reschedule, yet I had booked the appointment with him directly via the same number. He won’t answer my Angi messages either and the number on Angi redirects to his own phone number. I don’t know if there is a “boss” named “Richard”. Very disappointed, felt like a scam and waste of time.

Unlike other companies that have come to repair my appliances, these guys were up front and fair on the whole process. They came by, diagnosed and were back within a couple hours with everything fixed. Reasonable and timely. Hard to find these days. Would recommend.

Great, the pump filter was severely clogged. Ricky from H&B home solutions came and fixed it. he was able to open the cap and clean out all the debris. he corrected the problem within 30 minutes. He was professional, courteous and very knowledgeable of washing machines. I would absolutely call Ricky again. He’s also very reasonable.

H&B Home Solutions did a great job realigning my Kamado Joe so it can get a good seal.

Henrique came exactly on time, identified that there was a broken gasket, repaired and cleaned the area where the gasket came off. He had to remove the dishwasher door and observed some mold (!!) on the bottom of the door in an area that can’t be seen and cleaned that up. He ran a cycle abd watched it for a good amount of time to ensure that the fix worked. He gave me some advice for preventing mold in the future (keep the dishwasher door open for a few minutes after the cycle to avoid condensation buildup). He was polite and friendly . I would definitely hire H&B Home Services again and I’ll definitely request Henrique.

The communication was all done via the Angi messaging system. After the tech installed the ice maker he said he’d email me a receipt, which I never received. H&B Home Solutions was responsive and prompt until there was a problem. I texted and said that the ice maker wasn’t moving or working. The tech said that I needed to unplug the fridge, wait 5 minutes, and then plug it back in so that the system would recognize the new ice maker. I did that, and nothing happened. Since the 14th, I’ve messaged 4 times to request follow-up service and have received no reply.

Ricky was quite prompt, personable, and professional. He replaced our old garbage disposal with a new one in an efficient and timely manner. Excellent job — would highly recommend.
