Description of Work: We scheduled a mutually agreeable time to come to my home for an estimate. Never showed or called. I called and left a message and he didn't bother to email or call after not showing.

Description of Work: This was a ceiling in a basement, not a deck or porch. I was very happy with Mike, Gary and their team. From the beginning, they were responsive and professional during my research, answering all of my questions thoroughly. It's almost always a good sign when a contractor is willing to answer your questions really well before knowing whether or not they are getting a job. It's an investment of time for them, and although it might not always work out for them it does establish a level of professionalism that will serve them well down the road. They also provided me with the name of their insurance company to contact to verify insurance, which I also found to be a nice move on their part to help instill confidence. Their price quote was lower than other quotes, which wouldn't necessarily be the deciding factor. But after they came out and met with us we felt they were very competent, had a lot of experience and were very pleasant guys. After we decided to move forward, they communicated with us about a start date, and showed up when they said they would (or contacted me if a change was needed). Their style is very no nonsense, get to it, work hard and get it done. They work fast! That might not always be a good thing but in this case I don't think quality suffered at all. They put a permanent ceiling in, a soffit in and a drop ceiling in. All work looks great! They were neat/clean and very friendly, so we felt completely comfortable having them in our home for about 2.5 days. We liked their work and their price enough to get quotes from them for additional work. We will definitely use them again. One note that wasn't an issue for me, but good to know. Their contract is hand written and very informal. Again, once you meet with them and get a good feeling about them it shouldn't matter, and it's consistent with their friendly manner. But if you want something more formal, with all of the standard language, you'll want to be sure and discuss this with them.
