Bought Angie's List Big Deal. Provider failed to return my contacts.

They were very nice and hardworking people.I gave them an B. vs. an A because when I sent the list of the things that we needed completed, it included some masonry. No one ever wrote back to say that they didn't do masonry. Had I known that ahead of time, I probably wouldn't have purchased the Big Deal. They quality of the work was good, but I think I could have had those other services performed by a handyman for less. Had I hired them to do more contractor type work, the 299 might have been worth it. With that said, I would still invite them to bid on a bigger job.

We had a large rotted window sill - about 7' wide - that ran under an antique stained glass window. Manny and his assistant were exactly on time and did very high quality work. We hired them through an Angie's List coupon that covered 4 hours of work for 1 guy, but there were 2 guys, and the job took them a total of 4 hours, so we were billed for the difference (the second guy). They caulked the edges of the stained glass window, re-attached the exterior storm window, re-sealed that with new caulking, and primed the new wood. It looks great and no longer leaks when it rains. We've asked him for an estimate to do additional work at the house, because they are very skilled, nice, punctual, and the price is totally fair. Just be warned that he's quite busy - for good reason - so it can take a while to get on his schedule.

The job went well. They were very professional. I have already recommended them to a friend.

This is a textured ceiling. Ideally the texture would have been added to the plaster, but he told me to add it to the paint instead. So I had to add texture sand to the ceiling paint after the plaster had dried, 2-3 days later. It does not come as close to the rest of the ceiling, but is OK.

We couldn't be happier with the work and professionalism Manny & his team provided. We will reach out to him again in the near future to do some more work around our house.

I purchased 8 hours of wall repair. Overall it was a good experience. The project manager was professional and helpful. The two men who did the actual work did a good job, but were going to leave before the time was up and there was more work to be done. I showed them the work, they did it and left. One disappointment for me was that the day after the job, I noticed they had poured the leftover plaster water down the front side of my house and on my holly bush. Other than that, the job went well.

Manny and his team did a great job. It took a little while to coordinate schedules due to his workload but he came out and did the job in one day. It ended up being a bit less work than he had originally estimated so he adjusted his quote down. I thought he was very fair and the work was great.

The workers showed up on time and immediately got to work on the places where the drywall was damaged. They worked quickly and efficiently, and the result was first-rate. The holes were patched so well it was difficult to see where they had worked. The areas of the wall affected by mold were replaced, again, a first-rate job. I was very pleased with their quality, professionalism, and hard work. I would hire them again without hesitation for further repairs.

The process went well. I would use them again.

callled Manny(the owner) in April who came out and looked at the damage. He took pictures and measurements. He came back a week later to install the new woodwork and paint. Looks great.

First repair is extremely well done and matches the other part of the ceiling that had not been damaged. The 2nd ceiling will be completed in 2 weeks after waiting to see if the roof repair is complete and not allow any more water to leak through. The 2nd part is scheduled for April 25th.

Manny and his assistant showed up earlier, ready to get the job done and did a way better job that I expected. Really a seamless repair where the prior plumbing work was done. I did the primer and paint coat and it looks as good as new. Very happy with his professionalism and service, as well as the cleanliness of the job. I've asked him to quote a bigger job in replacing my wrough iron porch railings and posts with wood. Looking forward to Primus doing more work on my home.

The owner, Manny DaSilva, was prompt, professional and offered helpful advice when he came to evaluate the work we wanted to have done. We set a date and time for the work. On the day of the project, Manny and his assistant Jefferson, arrived promptly at 7:30 a.m. and began setting up. Very professional, very clean and respectful of our home and furnishings. The work was completed in one day, as Manny had promised. The molding looks beautiful. A superb job. Not a single seam/joint can be detected. Manny made everything work out beautifully. We will not hesitate to call Manny for our future projects! BTW, Manny's prices are very reasonable...even more so considering the quality of the work he does.

Discussed with Manny details of the project and the price was very competitive. From the start, I really liked his honesty and just the fact that he was really upfront about all details including how long it takes etc. His crew and him are really considerate about how much mess construction creates and are constantly cleaning the space. My house is over 100 years old so there was lots of horse hair plaster and lots of mess. They bagged all trash and were really considerate about constantly vacuuming etc. Both the demo and carpentry work were done extremely well. They put barriers between renovation space and the rest of the house so minimal amounts of dust go into our living space, and they were particularly considerate about the fact that I have 2 small children. They demoed old moldings but since I asked them to save them, were very considerate removing the old moldings and then used them to trim out newly put in doors and around windows. Umberto, their finish carpenter is extremely skilled and does amazing job putting together old and new. Manny also participates actively in the carpentry as well as structural parts of the job. We were concerned about the walls removed being load bearing but Manny really knew his stuff and made us feel very comfortable. The inspections went really smoothly, you could see the inspector really trusted Manny is doing everything right. And Somerville inspectors are tough as I witnessed before. Overall, I cannot be happier about this, our space is so much bigger now and I am looking forward to celebrating Thanksgiving. Job took 3 weeks but any delays were due to waiting for inspections and not workers. Manny and his crew are true professionals. This is the best general contractor experience we have had so far.

I received prompt response to my request to do repairs. They were professional, worked quietly, and gave me important suggestions about fixtures and possible repairs. When they saw that the toilet had a leak they went out and purchased a new toilet and installed it immediately. I admired their skills, honesty and integrity. Liked the way that the owner treated his workers. I plan to use their services again to paint the inside of my apartment.
