Description of Work: Royal Air installed a high efficiency gas unit in our house. We had three estimates from three separate companies. Royal was $3,000 below one competitor and $1,200 below the second. They were also the only ones who managed to put the exhaust through the back of our house where it wouldn't show and wouldn't cost more construction costs to install the furnace. They were prompt, courteous. We knew when they were coming and what they would do. They're also doing the paperwork for us for the energy rebate. We're very pleased and will keep them on to do service on the heating system.

Description of Work: Installed high efficiency gas boiler and hot water tank. Went ok, work was sub contracted and the sub did some sloppy work that royal needed to correct. They did correct and system has worked great. System was a Weil McLain, saved about 35% first year it was installed.

Description of Work: the problem I had was I called the company for and estimate to install a new heating system in my house. I got a response right away for someone to come out and get all the information to give me an estimate. The. gentleman was very professional, while he was at the house. He promised to get back to me with an estimate in about 2 days.. after 3 days I emailed him to ask when to expect the estimate. he said by the end of the week. he was tied up with another job. I NEVER heard from the company again. I will never recomend this company to anyone. lIf they couldn't handle this large of a job they should have at least called,emailed, texted me to let me know.

THEY WERE PRETTY GOOD. I CALLED THREE VENDORS AND ONLY THIS ONE CALLED ME BACK PROMPTLY AND WERE POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL. THEY WERE CLEAN AND CAREFUL THROUGHOUT THE JOB. I THOUGHT OUR BASEMENT WOULD BE LEFT A DISASTER, BUT I THINK THEY EVEN SWEPT UP WHEN THEY WERE DONE. THEY TOOK A FEW MORE DAYS TO COMPLETE THAN PROMISED, BUT WE WERE FINE WITH THAT. THEY FOLLOWED UP WITH DETAILED TRAINING ON OUR NEW SYSTEM. HOPEFULLY, THE HEATING BILLS WILL BE LOWER THIS YEAR!

THE REPRESENTATIVE FROM ROYAL AIR SHOWED UP ON TIME FOR THE APPOINTMENT AND WAS POLITE, CLEAN AND EFFICIENT. HE DISCUSSED OPTIONS WITH ME IN SOME DETAIL AND SENT ME AN ESTIMATE WITHIN TWO DAYS, RATHER THAN THE COMPANY'S NORMAL ONE WEEK TIME FRAME BECAUSE I SAID I WAS ANXIOUS TO MOVE FORWARD. ULTIMATELY I THINK I WON'T USE ROYAL AIR BECAUSE THEIR ESTIMATE WAS SUBSTANTIALLY HIGHER THAN OTHERS FOR A COMPARABLE SYSTEM, BUT THE SALESMAN PROVIDED GOOD SERVICE.

I CHOSE TO GO WITH ROYAL OVER CENTRAL COOLING BECAUSE ROYAL OFFERED A LESS EXPENSIVE OPTION THAT CREATIVELY SOLVED THE PROBLEM OF GOING TO A ROOM OTHERWISE INACCESSIBLE WITH DUCTING FROM THE ATTIC. THE STAFF WERE PLEASANT, GENERALLY PROMPT, AND VERY FOCUSED ON INSTALLING A SYSTEM THAT WOULD SERVE US WELL. THEY WORKED WELL TO OPTIMIZE PERFORMANCE WHILE PRESERVING CLOSET SPACE AND ATTIC SPACE. WONDERFUL TO WORK WITH.

THE APPOINTMENT WAS CONFIRMED THE NIGHT BEFORE. WHEN THE SALESMAN WAS 30 MINUTES LATE, I CALLED THE OFFICE AND WAS TOLD THAT SALESMAN WAS ON HIS WAY. 30 MINUTES AFTER THAT, THE RE AGENT HAD TO LEAVE AND LOCKED-UP THE HOUSE. I WAITED A TOTAL OF 75 MINUTES, THEN LEFT. NO ONE SHOWED. THIS DIDN'T BOTHER ME TOO MUCH UNTIL MY RE AGENT TOLD ME THAT ROYAL AIR HAD DEMANDED ANOTHER APPOINTMENT BECAUSE WE DIDN'T WAIT LONG ENOUGH.

THEY WERE VERY GOOD AND VERY QUICK. THEY INSTALLED THE DUCT WORK, WITH MINIMAL FUSS, WE HARDLY NOTICED THEM AND THEY ALSO DID IT VERY PROFESSIONALLY. THEY WERE VERY CONSCIOUS OF THE DETAILS AND CLEANED UP WHEREVER THEY DID WORK. THEY JUST DID EXCELLENT WORK, PROVIDED ADDITIONAL SUPPORT AND MADE THINGS VERY EASY FOR US.
