Avoid companies like HomeAdvisor that spam Craigslist with ads that look like a direct contact. Not only does it make it more difficult for a person to find a real worker, HomeAdvisor wasted my time sending me two contacts that never gave me the courtesy of a callback.

Last winter's snows caused 40 feet of gutter & soffit & fascia to be ripped off the roof. After several problems with other contractors, I contacted The Sullivan Company (TSC) What an improvement. They set a date promptly, quickly gave me a fair estimate (which was approved by the insurance company), and set a date to begin the work. They arrived on time and completed on time, leaving the site completely clean. I am talking to them about other projects. I recommend TSC based on my experience.
