From start to finish the experience was fantastic. Very knowledgeable team that does great work with superior attention to details. The job was completed on time, as promised with great results-- the seeded lawn is now up and green and doing great. I give them my highest recommendation.

So nice, so quick to come out! They were able to provide me a quote then and there for the work, and two days later, I have folks fixing up my yard! I'm looking forward to enjoying their service all summer long!

I called these guys for a quote and left a voicemail. They got back to me the same afternoon. They were polished on the phone and arranged a time to survey my property. They were willing to do this any day including weekends. I met them on a Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m., at my request. The father/daughter team arrived promptly and walked the property with me. They were knowledgeable and professional and provided a written, detailed quote on the spot. I hired them almost immediately and they began work a week later. The first service was thorough and outstanding. My mulch beds have never looked better. Overall, the experience thus far has been outstanding, far superior to a typical lawn service. I have hired them for my weekly mowing and general yard maintenance. My wife plans to have them choose and plant some flowers.

We set up an appointment with Mastroianni to come and give us an estimate for a Spring clean up at the end of March. They called us back first and came over within a day or so. They took a walk around the yard, gave us an estimate, and were back in two weeks to do the work. It took 3 guys about 2 hours to do everything. They did amazing work. We had a number of flowerbeds fully obscured by Fall and Winter yard debris. They blew and raked everything out and took away all these old bush clippings from last summer. They made the entire yard beautiful within a matter of hours. They actually found more flowerbeds than we even knew we had. This was a new house so we hadn't lived in it last spring and did not know what to expect to find. Shortly after they left, it rained, then everything started blooming out of the ground, it has been wonderful.

They did fine. I am still using them. They seem like a reasonable price. They came out and looked at the yard and what to do. They did a good job of putting in mulch. It looks a lot nicer than when I try to do it myself. They do a nice job and they are not expensive. It is a good value for the money. They are also very responsive. If you need to talk they are easy to reach. They kept up with the leaves during the fall. They were out all the time.

Punctual, professional, but all about the up-sell. However, they did exactly what I wanted / needed and in a short amount of time.

Sandra returned my call before any other company did and she was at my door at 8:00 a.m. with Santo the next day (on a Sunday--the only day I was available) to look at my property and to give an estimate on the job. They sent a written proposal and came the first day after several days of rain to get the job done--right on time, before 7:30 in the morning. They were very neat and it looks like they did a good job. Our fingers are crossed that our very difficult lawn will finally start to show some life later this fall or early spring! We did hear back from one other company that could aerate the lawn for a cheaper price a few days after we heard from Sanda, but the fast and professional response and past ratings on Angie's List made us feel that Mastroianni was the way to go.

They were unable to start on the scheduled day due to rain, but they were good about rescheduling soon. On the day of the work, they seemed to be in a hurry to get it done and were avoiding putting grass in nooks and corners where it was hard for their plow to go. They also did not seed between stone steps that cut across the lawn and also tried to avoid seeding near a tree, generally claiming that the grass won't grow in the shade or the old grass will come back in those locations. I was surprised at this, since I thought once they had agreed on the work, they don't lose much by doing a quality job of it. Maybe they had another job right after they had to rush to. Anyway, they did say they will come back and fix it if the "old grass does not come back". The price was agreed upon initially and there were no surprises there. To their credit the grass did grow well for the most part, but in some small and very visible patches it did not grow at all. (It grew well in all the small corner spots and shady spots where they said it would not grow, but it remained bald between the stone steps where they said it would grow. The other bare patches were in broader parts of the lawn which they had seeded). We called about the bare patches. They came to have a look and blamed us for not taking care of the lawn, first saying it was because we had not watered it (even though I had religiously done so) and then because we had not cut it (I had cut it 2 weeks before they came) and finally saying it was because we had not taken care of the weeds (even though there were no weeds on the bald spots -- but there were weeds elsewhere, along the edges). They wanted us to pay them to regularly take care of the lawn. When I said I was not interested, they left abruptly, saying we were insulting them by suggesting the bare spots were their fault. I went with this company because of their reputation in Angies List even though others were willing to do the same job for nearly half the cost. I think the extra price they charged is not worth the job they did.

They were incredibly prompt at every stage; I called and left a message on Friday, by Saturday morning they were doing an estimate, and they came on Monday morning to do the work! Very impressive, and I would definitely use them again.

They are good so we started using them on an ongoing basis. They are very good communicators and they communicate by emails or phone. Their prices are competitive and they come when they say they are going to come. They do a very good job.

Sandra returned my call quickly, and came out to give me an estimate the next morning. Per my request, Sandra gave us estimates for a number of yard-related items (gutter cleaning, mulching, bush trimming, etc), but we chose to just have the leaves removed and the lawn mowed. I mailed Sandra the down payment and proposal acceptance, and emailed her the same day to ask about scheduling the work. Sandra sent her crew out the same day to clean our yard! When we got home, the front and back were spotless, our garden beds were trimmed down, and our lawn looked amazing. We'd be happy to work with Sandra again.

Sandra called back immediately in response to my email through the List. She came out a few days later to give an estimate and walked the property all around the house and asked specific questions about what we wanted done. She explained the way that her father and his crew would do certain parts of the job and was amenable to doing the work in the way we wanted it done. For example, I wanted the bushes hand-pruned and not cut with an electric cutter. She was very agreeable and friendly. A little over a week later, Santo and his crew came to do the work, and Sandra was there at the beginning to explain the work to them. The work took a few hours and it was done very well. Leaves were gone, everything was trimmed neatly and all debris was cleaned up completely. I will definitely use this company again!

Beautiful. No scraping. No gouging of sod. The lawn is smooth and even. The crew works fast and leaves the surrounding area spotless.

after 2 years of trying, I finally have a green lawn! The work was well done and timely and Sandra is a pleasure to work with

They are very polite. They are very professional and cleaned up after themselves well. The fungus keeps coming back and we may need to take the tree out.

Calls were returned. Sandra was flexible with scheduling and showed up when she said she would. Workers who came on clean-up day were very cooperative and worked quickly. We were unable to get anyone else to come out and give an estimate so, I have a feeling that perhaps they overcharged a bit but, I can't say that for certain because I don't have anything to compare it against. Also, they removed a few plants which should have been left in but, that wasn't terribly surprising given the mess that the gardens were in, and we therefore sort of expected it so, we don't really fault them much for it. If we are unable to do the replanting in the spring ourselves, we are probably going to call this company again to come out and help us with it.

He is very good. He always cleans up after himself and leaves the yard looking very nice. He is very quick with his service. I would recommend him and I have.

I contacted five companies from Angie's List. Four responded and I received quotes from 3. This company sent a father and daughter team to review the project requirements and to present their company to me. They not only provided everything I wanted on the project and more, but they let me know about their insurance, billing, service, etc. without being prompted. They started the work one week later and completed it in half the time I anticipated. The new lawn is three weeks old and is completely green - excellent results.

I found the estimate to be higher than others that I had received so I did not hire them to do the work. Sandra was very timely about returning my phone calls and even called me again when I did not get back to her.

They were terrific. They came in a couple of days to view the property (daughter and father) and provided estimate immediately. I hired them on the sport. They promised to do the work the following week but they actually came 3 days later (sooner than expected) and did a terrific job! Place looks so much better and I'm happy with the results. They will now mow the lawn regularly and I will use them to make enhancements to the property. Great experience and highly recommended.

Santos and his daughter are a pleasure to deal with. They were very punctual, and delivered exactly as promised on the estimate. We're likely to sign up for a seasonal contract with them.

I called Sandra. She is a sweetheart and arranged to come out the next day. She & her dad gave me a reasonable quote for the job at hand, and offered additional services if needed. The work was done the next day!! I cam home to a beautifully manicured front, back and side yards and honestly, the place has never looked so good! (the neighbors might start talking to me now!) They did a terrific job!!
