Stephen and his crew have been taking care of our property for the last 12 years. His team is professional and prompt and always willing to adjust to our needs. In addition to weekly service they have helped us with several landscaping projects, from building a blue stone patio for our fire pit to small tree removal and shrubbery installation. I’d recommend them to anyone in the greater Newton area.

I contacted Stephen to get a custom fence done and he went above and beyond. I have a pretty specific vision and he was incredible to work with. Extremely friendly and responsive! I recommend him to all my friends and family in the area for everything from landscaping to fencing to outdoor patio projects. I love a good one-stop-shop!

Stephen runs a really great crew and he is always accessible and very responsive. They cover our landscaping and snow removal needs. They are detail oriented and take pride in their work. I have never had cause for complaint. We have a great looking yard and a clean driveway after every snow event thanks to Post Road.

It went well for several years. This past year, the company has stopped responding to my emails and multiple phone calls, and I can't get them to come do the work they agreed to. Not sure what happened, but I'll move onto another company - very disappointing.

They came out in force within hours of my authorization, and did a thorough job of cleanup, including removing some years worth of accumulated leaves from property edges. The weekly mowing has now happened for a month. They show up on schedule and do a thorough job.

I had used Stephen previously at my condo and when I moved to my new home, we had him do a fall cleanup and some reseeding. He was responsive then and did pretty decent work, although he claimed they came a second time for the fall cleanup, which didn't appear based on the debris that was remaining. Fast forward to the spring and I had hope to have Stephen do general landscaping services including a spring cleanup. It has been over 1 and a half months with no communication despite at least 5 voicemails and multiple emails. One random day - Stephen sent an email saying he was coming to mow my lawn the next day, something I had personally done the day before because it was getting out of control. I responded that it wasn't needed the next day and to call me so we can agree on a service agreement. And then the silence continued. I was reasonably happy with their service and pricing but I am extremely disappointed that they can't even take the time to email or call me to even say they aren't interested.

Snow plowing has been fine. They clear our driveway and front walk whenever there is more than a couple of inches of snow. This has even happened when we have been traveling; they come automatically when it is needed. We were completely satisfied with spring cleanup. The routine mowing has not yet begun .

I thought Roberto's did a fantastic job! Price for services was excellent.

He was great. Showed up as promised for the estimate, after I confirmed he gave me a date for the job. Two weeks before that he called and asked if I wanted it done sooner because his schedule had opened up. He and his crew arrived on a Thursday when they said they would and cleared out all the areas that day. They were supposed to come the next day but it was raining and he called to let me know they would be out on Monday, which they were. When everything was done my home looked so much nicer than I could have imagined. They took away some debris I hadn't even noticed and put in several pots of flowers which I hadn't asked them for just to make it look better. This is definitely a firm that will do more than required to do the job right.

Great. They come weekly, and the yard is well maintained. Very responsive if I have a question.

Excellent service. Very responsive and accessible via e-mail. Never try and push services that we don't want and responsive to our requests. Very pleased with our yard maintenance and look since we hired Post Road Landscape.

We have been very pleased with their work. They do an excellent job and we frequently receive complements on our yard and the many different unique plantings they have put in. They aren't cheap, but they make it easy and the quality is very high.

Very good. Right on time. Great job.

Generally quite well. There were too many leaves for them to cart them away all in one trip, so they left a big pile in a corner of the berm near the street and came back the next day to remove them. Not much of a problem, although we had to shoo away local kids from jumping into them and scattering them, and since they were substantially into the street, the kids might have been in danger from traffic that couldn't see them in the huge pile. Generally they are fast and efficient. Minor complaints: - They move my sprinklers and never get them back in the right positions. I have difficulty walking and am forced to go around repositioning them. This happens after every service, bi-weekly mowings through the year and yard cleanups. - They move my trash and yard waste barrels to blow leaves out and they leave them fallen over and out of place. - They claimed to have done a core aeration, seeding, fertilizing and liming on one of their bills, but I never saw any evidence of it around the date they claimed. They were very responsive though to a single phone call, checking that it indeed was scheduled, and had it redone promptly with no charge.

Everything went perfectly, from the initial quote through the end of the project. Great communication. When weather threatened to delay the project, they moved it up a day. Sod arrival came late in the day (because the project happened a day earlier than expected ) but while waiting for the sod the crew continued to rake stones, smooth the dirt and generally keep busy.

Stephen responded to my inquiry for snow removal services for this coming winter. I decided to hire him. I made this decision because I found Stephen to be (a) enthusiastic about his work, (b) well-equipped to handle the tasks, (c) very professional but mostly (d) clearly proud of his work and his family. He seems to have the type of attitude and discipline which I have found, over a long history, to be critical components to a quality business relationship.

Post does a good job, always responsive and flexible with services and quotes. However, we don't use them for pruning or weeding.

He was here on time and did the work expeditiously well. He was done well before his estimation of finish, and the work looked great.

They were responsive, on top of things. They did about as well as anybody could be expected to under the circumstances of last winter. They worked hard and Steve in the office answered the emails and was attentive. Highly professional organization. Good work ethic, great customer service. Highly reliable.

Stephen and his team did such a fabulous job that I had to write this review. He came out for the estimate quickly, the job was booked soon after, the price was reasonable, and his team was efficient and did quality work. I couldn't believe how beautiful my yard looked when they left. I look forward to having them help me with future yard work.

I've used Post Road Landscape for the last two years for Fall leaf removal. They were very responsive and competitively priced. I also liked the quality of their work so I wanted them to do the seeding and compost work in the Spring. Up until this Spring, I give them an A+ but this year it's been subpar... I asked for an estimate for aeration, seeding, and composting in March of this year and Stephen provided it very quickly. I called and spoke to Kelley shortly after and accepted the proposal right away (I wanted to get in their queue early in the season before it started filling up). She said she would put me on their spring cleanup list. In late April, I had a tree removed and asked them to come remove the wood chips. They came quickly to remove the wood chips but did not do the grass seeding. I waited a week and got worried when the seeding was still not done because it was already May. I figured something was wrong so I contacted Post Road. Stephen replied and said I was not in their spring cleanup list. I informed him I had spoke to Kelley back in March, accepted the work proposal, and still needed the seeding done. Waited a week, no response so I called and left a voicemail. Still no response. It is now June. so I contacted another landscaper for an estimate on seeding. The landscaper said it was too late to seed that close to summer. Now my front lawn is full of weeds. It looks terrible. Another landscaper came and said it would cost $1000 to dig everything up and reseed. I'm very upset because I specifically got an estimate and accepted the proposal early in the year so this exact thing would not happen. Now my lawn is a complete eye sore and it's going to cost me a lot to repair it.

Stephen is great. Responds fairly quickly to emails and comes out and walks the property with me to make sure we've talked over the issues. He makes great suggestions and then follows through.

I interviewed a few landscapers and hired Stephen because he seemed professional, conscientious and appeared to really pay attention to what I wanted. He also had excellent reviews on Angie's List, reviews which I rely on, so I didn't hesitate to schedule an estimate. He sent me a price list, which was reasonable, and I decided to hire him. We agreed that he would perform a Spring Clean-up, fertilizer applications, bi-weekly mowing and fall clean-up services. He came out in April for the Spring clean-up and only completed half of the job. He sent me an invoice for the entire clean-up and I told him I would be happy to pay it, but only when all the work was completed. He said he would come out that day to finish. He didn't. He then said he would come the next week. He didn't. He then said the job would be completed when they came to mow the lawn on Friday of that week. Again, a no show for both the clean-up and the lawn which, by then, had taken on the characteristics of a wheat field. From then on, all of my emails went unanswered. I was finally able to reach him on the phone and asked, again, what the status was. This was on a Monday. He said he would be out either that afternoon or early Tuesday morning for both jobs. Again, a no-show. I sent one final volley, asking if I could expect to see him early the next morning, on Wednesday. The email went unanswered and he was, again, a no-show. I then mowed my own lawn and sent him an email to let him know that his services - the ones that I expected - were no longer required. That one time when I was able to speak with him live, his explanation to me was that they were incredibly busy, but that things usually calmed down after the Memorial Day weekend. As a consumer, I never want to hear that the person I hired to do a job was too busy with others to make mine a priority. If you are too busy, then you have the option of not taking on new business, or hiring new staff to deal with the overload. To be left hanging for services you counted on is more than frustrating, especially now that almost every landscaper is full-up for the season. This has been a most disappointing experience and I could not, in good conscience, recommend Post Road to anyone.

They did an excellent job. He told me when he's going to show up. He did everything, he did a few extra things that I didn't know what he was trying to do, and made it look nice.
