Description of Work: This was an express yard cleanup - 1/6 acre of wet leaves and acorns, late in the season. They fit me in between other work when they would not ordinarily have scheduled additional jobs, and did an excellent job.

Description of Work: Did fall clean up, mulching and some replanting. I also wanted some iris and hosta plants divided and replanted. It was okay but there was some miscommunication. Unfortunately some heirloom day lilies were destroyed. Owner is great but crew didn't speak English so hard to know if expectations were being communicated. Also, crew uses leaf blowers. Since then I know that the owner has had some professional development in organic landcare. I would use him again if he agreed not to use leaf blowers and we mapped out on paper exactly what was to be done where.

Description of Work: Post Road reviewed my lawn and sodded the entire front of the house. They seeded other areas that needed to be filled in, rather than dug up and sodded. They are also providing general landscaping services and mulch. Steve is very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He takes ownership of the job much better than my prior landscapers. I appreciate his input and his professionalism. They are an excellent outfit.

Description of Work: Steven has been an absolute pleasure to have chosen as our groundskeeper. Almost without instruction Steven has whipped our property into shape for the coming winter season. His ideas and suggestions have been welcome wisdom. He has made numerous recommendations to safeguard our shrubs from winter frost. And has expressed his appreciation for my previous positive review by gifting us with some services that we would have not considered had he not offered them. Against the backdrop of the general poor performance of our previous landscaper Steven and his crew stand head and shoulders above the competition. If you are in search of competence give Steven a call. He is knowledgeable, consistent and quite competitively priced.

Description of Work: S. Mastroianni Landscaping, one of those you advised, came to take invasive bamboo out of my garden. They showed a high degree of knowledge of the problem this poses and suggested a solution that did not require the use of herbicides. They replaced the area with plastic cover, gravel on top and soil over that, leaving it neat and even. The price seemed a bit high, but I have no idea what others ask, and I was relieved to get rid of the menace.

+ -1 moreThey are an excellent company. Our lawn hadn't been cut in several months and was completely overgrown. We had had several companies quit on us. Sandra in the office returned my phone calls very promptly and she worked hard to arrange the contract for us and to get the crew to our house as soon as possible. The crew cut the grass and did the cleanup quickly and thoroughly. I highly recommend their services.

+ 1 moreThis company was very professional. They worked very quickly and were very thorough. They did a great job overall. I called and left a message to get an estimate for a spring cleanup. Sandra called me back the very same evening to set something up. They (Sandra and Santos) came out on a Sunday morning to look at the property and to give me an estimate. I was having 2 estimates done so I did not commit right away. I ended up going with the Mastroianni's not due to price (because their estimate was slightly higher than the other two I'd received) but due to their quick response and professionalism. Although I have a very small property outside of their regular service area they were able to accommodate me. I would definitely use them again!
Description of Work: Spring cleanup which included raking leaves and branches. Discarding a few large branches that fell off of a tree from a previous storm. Removing cement blocks from the front of the property which was damaged by a town snow plow. Trimming 1 shrub. Edging and mulching flower beds, and mowing the lawn.

+ 0 moreLeft a msg on the office machine and daughter returned my call within an hour. She and her father came the next day, a Friday, and gave an estimate, which seemed reasonable given the large amount of work needed. Paid half and was told they would come the following week. Owing to a staff illness, the workers did not come until the following Saturday, but they were thorough, neat and fast. The yard hasn't looked so clean in ages! They left everything in excellent shape. They listened to my requests. Days after they left, I realized they had not cut down the branch over the deck. They came back a few days later, trimmed the branch. Then they blowed the leaves off my deck and entire back yard. Mr. Mastrioianni also brought out a ladder and installed a gutter leaf catcher for me because my ladder wouldn't reach!
Description of Work: Trimmed very tall and long hedge, trimmed bushes in front and along side of house, cut down branch over deck, raked under bushes to clean debris, trimmed lawn edges, laid mulch, prepped front and back lawn for winter.

+ -1 moreHe is very cheerful, willing, responsive, and hard working. He cuts grass and will shovel snow. He doesn't speak English. When you call, his daughter will talk to you about the work. The first appointment you have with Santos, his daughter, will come along and translate. They are very nice to deal with and Santos does a good job.
