Description of Work: Water marks were visible on concrete surface in several parts of basement. A system to remove the water and a pump were installed. Since then a floor has been laid and so far we have not seen traces of water.

Description of Work: Basement Technologies was one of multiple vendors that I called. They came out to give me an estimate and they were friendly and very nice. Their prices were in range with everyone else's. I was taking some time to make a decision and it was a big and expensive project so I decided not to do any work until the fall of 2012 and I let them know that. As soon as fall came, they started calling all the day, up to twice per day. This really turned me off b/c the sales efforts were just a bit too aggressive for me. I had the project I needed done completed this winter by another company. Their sales people were just as responsive and nice and most of all, they did not try to give me the hard sell. I'm sure pushy sales works for some, but having been in the sales business before and hated it, it does not work for me. Two of my neighbors used basement technologies and recommended them to me. Both of them are very satisfied with the company's work. I'm sure they do good work, but if you call them for an estimate just be aware of the fact that they will continuously call you. To this day, they are still calling once a day.

Description of Work: Originally we had a sump pump and piping installed around the inside of all of the walls of the basement. They did a terrific job and cleaned up after. They came again to install more piping as we were still getting puddles of water. They were prompt, courteous and very professional. They explained all the workings of the system and the pump. I had to call them once because the battery was beeping and they walked me through it. We continue to use Basement Technologies and I recommend them..

Description of Work: Was in the process of buying a house and the home inspection revealed water in the basement. Steve came out and was both knowledgeable and professional. He provided a candid assessment of the situation as well as cost-effective recommendations. He said "I'm looking at this like it's my basement", and I truly believe that he did. Would highly recommend this professional to anyone who needs basement waterproofing.

Description of Work: We asked for an in-home estimate to seek at the cause of water seeping up under the carpet in the basement and the cost to fix it. We had a technician in within five days. He inspected the damage, suggested a rather complex and expensive solution and gave us a rough estimate with a promise of a more formal written estimate within a day. Then, before he left, he checked the closet where the heating system was located. Seeing water on the floor around the heater, he quickly amended his previous comments. All that was wrong was that we had a problem with the condenser leading and that a heater repairman could take care of it for less than 1/10th the cost he had just estimated. His honesty was much appreciative. Should we ever have a basement waterproofing issue, this is the company we will call to fix it.
