They were very professional. They finished the job within about 15 minutes. They did a fantastic job.

I called on in the morning, and they were out within the hour. They were prompt, on time, professional and did the work very well. This is my second time to use them and was very pleased that my second experience was just as good as my first experience.

They came and did estimate. Sent me copy of estimate. Made an appointment to have work done. They came on time, worked a few hours to remove old door and lift unit and installed the new parts. One of the workers showed me how to program the outside control and some of the features of the new door. They were courteous, professional and prompt

When our old, uninsulated steel garage door buckled, we decided to replace both with insulated doors. Chris came to give an estimate and kindly fixed the buckled door at no charge. That won points with me although, admittedly, once it was done the others bidders did not have the opportunity to do that. Thompson ended up as low bidder on the job, too, but I would have gone with a higher bidder had I not found them so respectful and accommodating. When I wanted to upgrade to a heavier gauge steel, another bidder tried to talk me out of it instead of giving me what I wanted. Thompson sent me the revised bid right away. Delivery took longer than was promised but when hidden damage appeared upon delivery, Thompson got the manufacturer to send replacement panels ASAP with no complaint. Installation crew was courteous, neat, quiet, experienced, and dealt competently with the awkward arrangement of our garage that made for non-standard installation of both doors.

We lost the remaining garage door opener remote for our detached garage and were told by several service professionals that we would need to "break in" to our garage to gain access. But Chris from Thompson Overhead had a few tricks up his sleeve. He got our garage door open! He was prompt and professional, too.

They arrived on time, diagnosed the problems right away and quickly and efficiently made the necessary fixes, even in the bitter cold. Only one of our two garage doors was malfunctioning, but if/when the other door goes, we'll definitely have Thompson Overhead Doors back.

The cable on one of the garage doors broke early in the morning. Looked up on Angie's List based on overall rating and proximity. Made a phone call before 9. Chris was here in 30 min. By 10 am, he had made the fix and also adjusted the other door. He is definitely the one I want to call if I have problems with the garage doors in the future.

I made a phone call, they showed up on time, gave me an estimate, ordered the door, installed it on time for the amount of the estimate.

I called the company on December 11th. They came and evaluated the problem on December 12th providing an estimate for a new system. The unit was installed on the 13th. The installer was on time and professional. I am very happy with the new opener.

In less than 2 hours after I called they arrived and determined that the motor was gone on my 20 year old garage door opener. Within 2 hours later they left me a voice mail regarding a quote for a replacement. They provided details when I called back to ask questions and emailed me the quote and description of the product right away. Prior to my calling them back they had already reserved a tentative time for me for installation the next day. The next day they came out and installed a new garage door opener. I compared the price with Sears and Thompson was much better: lower installation cost, could install more quickly by at least 2 days, and offered one excellent product which I probably would not have picked out amongst the myriad of those that Sears offer. The one that I purchased is quiet, has battery power backup in case of a power outage, and motion sensor detection light. In addition, I did not have to be home for installation.

They are very nice people to work with. Super attentive to me and the service they provided was EXCELLENT. The door is working great. They were wonderful to work with and I would use them over and over again - but hopefully I won't have to for a long time!

Estimate was timely and professional with an electronic copy. Quickly scheduled date of service. Service was performed in a timely manner. Servicemen were friendly and helpful. Cleaned up upon completion.

Very smoothly. The service provider was courteous, explained everything and was very friendly. I was definitely impressed. The only thing I didn't like was that he did some extra things without first asking me. In the end, the cost was minimal so I don't really mind, but I prefer to be asked first.

I contacted Thompson through their website via email asking for an estimate appointment. I was promptly called back the next day and scheduled an estimate two days later. Two gentlemen arrived for the estimate on time and explained what was wrong with my door, and the best options I could use to maximize my purchase value. I then received my estimate, and made a few minor changes. (upgraded door insulation R rating, extra car remote, and keyless entry) I accepted their estimate and was required to pay half the cost up front. (this is to pay for ordering the garage door) Two weeks later, I was called that the door was in, and they were ready to install. Thompson was very flexible in making the install appointment, as it was a very busy week for me when the door came in. On installation day, Thompson showed up on time, and began work right away. They began the job at 830am, and finished at 1230pm. At the completion of the install, the two workers took the time to explain all the components to me, from operating the door, entering my keyless entry code, and how to properly maintain and lubricate the components. The two men were excellent and knowledgeable when answering my questions. This company knows what they are doing. They work hard with no messing around. Use this company for your garage door needs!
