Extremely efficient, my old barely moving door now works without trouble. I am so glad I called and that they were excellent. Also very fast. I couldn't believe all he accomplished.

They called me a couple days later to set up the appointment. The initial appointment was within a week to go over what needed to be done. They replaced the mechanism that makes the doors go up and down. The work was done quickly. The service went very well.

I came home at noon one day, parked in my garage and pressed to close garage door. The door got stuck about 2 feet from ground and looked like a cable broke. Could not get door up or down. I panicked since my car was stuck in garage and I was going on a trip the next morning. I immediately went to Angie's list and found Thompson, called and spoke to Julie. At first she was not sure if a technician would be able to come that day. When I explained to her my concern that I was supposed to travel with the car stuck in the garage, she contacted a tech who agreed to come shortly that afternoon! She could not have been nicer! The tech arrived around three, fixed my door and saved my trip! I so appreciated their responsiveness to my particular situation. The tech crew was wonderful, pleasant and professional. My experience was so positive - I felt that the company had that personal touch that is often missing when you need a service performed. I offered to pay the tech crew, but they told me that Julie would email me an invoice! The cost was so reasonable especially since this was an emergency for me! I would give Thompson A++++

It was fine. No problems. The scheduling was easy - they called me to set up the appointment. My garage door was very loud and the tech was there for about an hour and a half.

he was a very knowledgeable young man, who knew what he was doing. We together with him chose not to replace some cables, which were part of the "deal" as it wasn't necessary.

It was absolutely superb. They were timely; they did exactly what was supposed to be done, actually sooner than I thought would have been humanly possible, they did an excellent job, good communications, everything. They still have our records on file from 15 years ago, they still remembered my name, they were exceptional.

There was a bit of delay from time door ordered to time of installation, but it was over Christmas holiday (plus lots of snowy weather) so delay was not completely unexpected. When date arranged, workers arrived promptly, worked efficiently, and outcome very good.

I called a bunch of companies and Thompson was most efficient at coming out and estimating the project while others went around in circles. I was particularly pleased that they checked for other problems and did also some minor maintenance.

The installer arrived at a reasonable time - 9 AM (no problem for our noise-sensitive neighbor - and did the job in a highly professional manner. He answered all our questions and provided recommendations on maintaining the door. He cleaned up and left the garage and door ready to use.

My Electronic garage door was not working so, after getting a recommendation from my contractor, I called Thompson for a service call. After they assessed my system Chris recommended that I purchase a new Keypad instead of a whole new system, (which they could have installed). I went to a local store and bought the system and it worked fine. They saved me hundreds of dollars and were very honest and punctual and professional. After he made the suggestion he still greased the tracks and found an out of place wire cable which was cutting in to a s clamp and replaced the clamp and fixed the cable preventing an imminent problem form occurring. They arrived when they said they would, and were very friendly. They even took $10.00 Angie's List coupon off the cost of the service call.

Chris came out promptly to disconnect the entire opener system before garage repair. Gave us a very reasonable estimate for the two part procedure. After repairs were completed, he repaired some broken cables, did maintenance on the system he reinstalled. We decided to hold off on new doors for now. Answered phones in the office and returned calls promptly. Very professional service.

excellent! When I called, I first spoke with Karen who gave me some tips over the phone in order to maybe save me a trip which I thought was incredibly thoughtful and professional. When those tips did not work, she called Chris who was already in transit of leaving my town who then turned around and came right over. He was great! Very professional and pleasant to talk to. I have not received the bill yet so I cannot comment on the fee but otherwise a great experience (I did just put positive notes for cost and fee based on the experience of the whole appt). Would definitely use them again!

I had good communication right from the start and all the way through the project. The Job was done with professionalism by friendly guys who did the job with speed and efficiency. After they were done they cleaned up and explained all the working of the new door and system. It has been a month now and there have been no problems and the door looks great. All that being said I would recommend this company if you are in the market for a new garage door.
