They quickly discovered the problem very quickly, repaired it, and then made sure that all my openers were programmed correctly. They also neatened the wiring to look professionally installed.Couldn't have asked for better service, they came when they said they would, the repair was bigger than I or they expected, but they had the part, fixed it quickly, and tidied up.

They did a fantastic job. The cable snapped on Saturday evening. I called Monday morning and left a message with answering service. They called back by 7:30 AM and were able to be at my house by 11:00 AM to do the repair. They were prompt and courteous and as I have used them before, they did a super job. He explained what he was going to do and proceeded to do it quickly and a clean job. I will continue to use them for all of my garage door repairs or replacement in the future.I cannot recommed them more highly.

The garage is cleaner, brighter, and warmer than before, and the motor is incredibly quiet. I would recommend Thompson enthusiastically to anyone needing their services.

We were very happy with their work. Our old garage door was unattractive and poorly insulated, and after a spring snapped we decided to replace the door with a more modern one. Having narrowed our selection to a couple of models (CHI and Garaga) that seemed stylistically appropriate for our house, we called around several companies for quotes. Some installation companies deal in only one or the other brand, but Thompson were able to supply either brand. Thompson responded promptly and gave what seemed like good advice over the phone, and they sent someone promptly to make measurements and provide a quote. The Garaga model would have been significantly more expensive but they did not try to steer us toward that option, and their quote for both models was cheaper than several other companies we spoke to. They also did not try to talk us into replacing the motor, which is still working fine. Since this was mid-winter, we were anxious to get the work done asap, but they were careful not to over-promise on the schedule (they explained that these doors are not stock items and have to be individually ordered from the manufacturer), and gave us an estimated lead time of 3-4 wks that proved to be accurate (it ended up being closer to 3 wks). Once the door arrived, the installation team showed up exactly when they promised, and all went smoothly. The new door appears to have been competently installed, it looks great and is working well.

We had our door opener replaced with a heavier duty. They are very good, very prompt, and reasonable. Their price is reasonable.

CHRIS WAS ABLE TO COME WITHIN A FEW DAYS OF US CALLING HIM. HE CAME ON TIME, DID GOOD WORK, AND WAS EASY TO DEAL WITH OVER THE PHONE. HE CAME WHEN WE WEREN'T HERE AND THEN BILLED US THROUGH THE MAIL, SO WE DIDN'T SEE HIM IN PERSON, BUT HE SEEMED VERY NICE OVER THE PHONE AND DID A GREAT JOB. THE DOOR USED TO BE VERY HEAVY TO LIFT AND THEN WOULD COME CRASHING DOWN. WE HAVE A TODDLER, SO THIS WAS NOT GOOD. NOW THE DOOR MOVES EASILY AND STOPS WHEN WE LET GO OF IT. THE PRICE SEEMED ABOUT THE SAME AS THE OTHER PEOPLE WE CALLED AND WE FEEL IT WAS A GOOD VALUE.

THEY WERE EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL. WHEN I CALLED, I TALKED WITH A LIVE PERSON WHO WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT GARAGE DOORS. THEIR ADMINISTRATION IS REALLY ON TOP OF THINGS. THEY CAME OUT AND PROVIDED A VERY PROFESSIONAL WRITTEN ESTIMATE IN THE MAIL SHORTLY AFTER. THEY WERE MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THE COMPANY WE USED. WE DIDN'T GO WITH THOMPSON, BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO DO WORK WITHIN OUR TIME FRAME. PUNCTUALITY FOR ESTIMATES WAS FINE, BUT PUNCTUALITY FOR THE TIME FRAME THEY CAN DO THE WORK WOULD BE A "D". THEY LET US KNOW THEY WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO DO THE WORK FOR 3 WEEKS. IF YOU HAVE A DEADLINE, YOU MAY WANT TO CONSIDER ANOTHER COMPANY.

EXCELLENT WORK, COMES OUT WHENEVER THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH IT.
