On both occasions Larkin arrived on time and worked very hard all day. The walls were painted beautifully with great care to detail. The walls were sanded, filled, and then primed and painted. On the the second visit the ceiling damaged area was primed to help cover the staining and then painted. Amerson, who did the work, was very careful to get the right paint that blended in perfectly with the rest of the ceiling. We were very glad we did not need to paint the whole living room ceiling. While working on the ceiling Amerson noticed a crack in the plaster in another part of the living room. He said he could fix that too, which he also did with excellent results. You can not tell there was ever a crack at that location. He sanded the around the crack, put down tape, and then plastered, sanded, primed, and painted. All this work was done in a little more than a 1/2 day. So we have been very impressed with Bill Larkin and his group of painters, and we would certainly go to him first for anything involving painting or plastering in our house.

Excellent experience, from initial calls with Bill, estimate process, his ability to meet my tight timeline, and the quality and professionalism of his staff who did the painting onsite over the course of 2 days. I would highly recommend Larkin Painting and plan to use them again.

Very good overall. Bill Larkin is very responsive and responsible. Prices were very reasonable. His "right hand man" was courteous and kind; very willing to help out with extra tasks like moving some furniture. Only negative was a couple of clean-up issues that could have been done better.

My experience with The Larkin Company was excellent. I'd requested estimates from 3 companies and while they were not the least expensive, I felt the most comfortable with Bill Larkin--owner of the company and the fact that he had a Full Time team (vs the least expensive option which was a 1 man operation). Bill came when he said he would and as we walked through the house, we discussed varied options for the rooms with wallpaper. He was open, honest and helpful. Price was fair. Team arrived within a week or so of signing the contract. Most of the painters who came to work on the job were fantastic--detail oriented, cleaned up well after each day and helpful as I was working through color selections. Only reason for the B rating in professionalism was that there was 1 painter on the team who did not meet the high standard of the others (less careful, less diligent and left early several days which I believe led to a delay in completion of the overall job). The other 3 painters, especially the lead Danilo, were exceptional. Bill came to check on the job periodically and provided me with a color wheel to think through final colors and the name of an interior decorator to help with initial color selection. The job took longer than anticipated but was still completed prior to the target of Christmas. I am absolutely delighted with the way the job turned out and would absolutely use this company again. I've already given their name out to a neighbor and will continue to endorse and recommend them. Thank you Angie's list and thank you Bill Larkin and Team. Great job.

Larkin painting was excellent. After my initial call, Bill came to our home promptly to provide an estimate. His knowledge and recommendations were greatly appreciated. His cost was extremely competitive. His painters were prompt, professional, and cleaned up after themselves after every work day. The job was completed on schedule. I would definitely use Larkin painting again.

I will definitely use them again. One special item to note was that by accident, one of the painters broke my a light fixture, they promptly called me on my cellphone and explained the accident-which was no big deal, and she proceeded to do a lot of extra work to find the light fixture and replace the broken one. It took a little longer then she had anticipated as she had to order it, which was no problem, but I was impressed with her commitment and open attitude to repair the accident. This was new to me as I unfortunately have had more negative experiences then positives, but for this I give them a "few extra gold stars".

Bill and his team were great. I'd definitely use them again.

Great experience with Bill and his crew. He was able to fit my job into his schedule on very short notice and the painter who came to the house was very professional and curteous!!

Bill was very responsive and of the quotes we received was the most professional and fair. We contracted for some work and decided to have his team continue on and finish the other projects. The crew was very nice, punctual, and did quality work. Bill was very accessible and prompt in replies and seemed to be onhand a lot to supervise progress. They used the specific paint we requested, and switched over some trim that was oil-based to be latex, which was added work. They also did an amazing job with patchwork that we had based on some electrical projects that had been completed. If you didn't know something had been there before you'd never know. We'd recommend their services and use them for future projects.

They arrived when they said they would, completed the job in the time promised (2 days) and cleaned up after themselves I was very pleased with the outcome.

Bill was great- returned my call promptly, came out to provide an estimate same day, and was able to schedule us for a few days later (we were on a tight timeframe before moving in to new house). Paint job is excellent, and we'll be calling them again to do the rest of the house as soon as we can decide on colors.

They were delightful. They were very willing and cooperative, and are understanding about other contractors' work around the house. They clean up their space very nicely every day.

I had contacted Bill for an interior painting price estimate. I had found the estimate to be fairly reasonable and he was extremely responsive and professional throughout the whole process. In the end, I did not hire Bill when a good friend recommended another company.

After completion of all contracted work, there were two issues involving minor additional work. By utilizing the Angie's List complaint resolution process, both issues were very amicably resolved, and I would have no reservations about using Larkin Painting again.

I got a lesser estimate but the quality of his work was great. He is a very nice person and answered all my questions. He was very nice to work with and helped me a lot.

Bill was very prompt in returning my call, visiting my home and completing the job. The quality was excellent and it was a pleasure to work with him.

Responded promptly to my phone call, was very understanding when I completely forgot about our scheduled meeting, and rescheduled promptly. Job was scheduled within a few weeks. Uses email, which I like. Painter showed up as scheduled, completed job in one day, work was great, no mess left behind. I didn't get other estimates, price was at the top of the range I was prepared to pay, so I don't think it was a bargain, but I definitely got my money's worth.

The results are beautiful and we are very happy with the professionalism with this company. They responded promptly, and provided an estimate that was reasonable for the work. This company has a lot of experience and I trust what they do. His guys did a superb job and I would use them again.

They did a great job! They had great attention to detail. They specialize in interior painting. You could tell that their attention to detail and quality is head and shoulders above their competition. The prices were a little bit higher, but I thought it was worth it. The job took 2 days, and they were in and out. You get what you pay for with them.

Even though Bill was on vacation, he had two members of his crew do the entire job on schedule and on budget. The project was completed in less than three days. We have used Larkin Painting before and will not hesitate to use them again.

The initial quote was for the family room, stairwell and upper hallway only. Bill estimated the job to take 2 days. He and his crew arrived punctually the first morning, moved and covered all large pieces of furniture, prepped and started the painting. Midway through the first day, I asked Bill if he would be able to provide a quote for the main hallway as well, and after he provided that quote, I asked him to add that on. He was very accommodating about the added work, but said it might run into a third day. They did a nice job prepping the walls, and the finished job looks great! They were also able to finish a bit earlier than Bill had estimated, and he took that into consideration on his final bill. I also want to say that we have a dog and a few cats that were in the house while the work was being done. The painters didn't seem to mind their presence, but we tried to keep the animals contained all the same. This was a pleasant experience overall, and I was very pleased with the finished product.
