Once we called, Rob called within a couple of days to make an appointment. He came our and was terrific. Straightforward, very clear, no hard sell. The price was very competitive, in fact significantly cheaper than another quote we had received. Because they work with Harvey Windows, we were able to go the showroom in Burlington and look at the options. And because the Burlington location is a showroom only, the employees there are very helpful, not interested in selling but rather inform. Once we decided what we wanted, Rob took our order and gave us a infall time frame about two months out. Nearly to the day, we got a call that the windows would be delivered on a Friday and the install begin the following Monday. They thought it might take two days but their terrific installer was able to get it done in one. We are very happy with our choices. The windows are great, very professionally installed. We are wondering why we waited so long.

During the quoting process we were not pressured to use any certain product, or to secure any certain time to have this done. It was all up to us. When we asked for their suggestion, they were honest and informed us of which we did not see such as the darker shingles would tend to make the roof warmer than the lighter ones. We have gotten all positive comments from the neighbors and one had actually already used Roofers Edge a year prior and they were pleased with their work. They were punctual, thorough, courteous, and cleaned up totally after the job. We were contacted the next day to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction and to check to see if we were pleased with their work. Which we were, we have more work to be done to our house and will call them back to work with us.

The roof leaked after they were here despite two callbacks. I finally found and fixed the problem myself. The other problem they left was that they cut the top off my chimney when they couldn't figure out how to unscrew it, or be bothered to ask how to do it. The owner made disparaging remarks to me about my wife after she called to demand they fix the chimney. His final offer at resolving the problems his crew caused was that they would pay a pittance toward a replacement chimney cap, but that they were not trained to do the work of replacing it so I would have to do it. I decided that dealing with them any longer wasn't worth the small part of the cost of their damages that they were willing to pay. In addition to his inappropriate remarks about women and especially my wife, after the job was complete the owner also made highly discriminatory boasts about how hard he could work and quot;Illegal Mexican Immigrantsand quot;. I simply could not believe this guy thought it was OK to say those things to a customer (or anyone else for that matter)! Just to be clear, the crew themselves were respectful and careful to keep the property clean while they worked. The only problem I had with them was the chimney cap, which might not have been such a big deal had the owner stood by his crew's work and fixed it. It's because of the owner, Kevin Blakeman, that Roofer's Edge and Siding was a nightmare. Stay away!

This was a 2 day project. On day one the crew showed up around 7:00 am and worked until about 4:00pm. At the end of day one all the old trim around the roof was removed and replaced with PVC trim. Day two consisted of removing the roof, installing the new roof and new gutters. Work started around 7:00 am and the crew worked until after 5:00pm. I'm very satisfied with the work performed and the job site cleanup. I would use Roofer's Edge and Siding again. Kevin responds quickly when called, he is a little slow when responding to email. Call him if you need to contact him.

Bob came and consulted with us on the best products to use and the overall design. We couldn't have been happier with the end result. Manny did most of the labor and was fantastic. I would highly recommend them to anyone and when I can afford it will get them back to do the remainder of the house.

They were very meticulous, and extremely detailed. They did a very good job. Something any company has done before, removing the down top, repainting and taking it back. Overall experience, I will give them an A.

While time will tell when it comes to a re-roofing project, we are pleased with the work that Roofers Edge and Siding provided. They were responsive, timely, fast (1 day!), and professional. Nice job with clean up as well.

Following our call to Roofers Edge and Siding; Kevin Blakeman, the owner of the company promptly scheduled an appointment at our home. After taking measurements, he wrote out a very detailed estimate outlining all of the details of the job work to be performed. Originally, we were interested in replacing the siding. But, he offered to provide two separate estimates – one for the roof and one for the siding. Both estimates were very thorough and easy to understand. Additionally, the siding estimate was considerably lower than a quote we received from another contractor in the area. Mr. Blakeman informed us that his crews work year-round. He estimated the roof would be completely done in one day; and the siding would take about two weeks (…we requested that he remove all existing cedar shingles from the siding before installing the new vinyl siding). He scheduled the roof to be completed in early January, 2014 about one month following the date we signed our contract. It would have been sooner, but there was a lot of inclement weather preventing his crews from safely working on the roof. A couple of weeks later, his crews spent one day removing all of the existing cedar shingles, installing a foam insulation board and cleaning up the work debris. Following some additional weather related delays, his crew got to work on the vinyl siding. Within a few weeks, they had completed the job. His crews were extremely hard working; and routinely asked if we had questions or if we were happy with the work product. Throughout the duration of both projects, Mr. Blakeman was remained in contact with us to address any questions we had. While the project took a few weeks longer than anticipated, most of the delays were weather related. We are very pleased with the finished product; if we had to do it again, we might wait until the spring so as not to worry about winter weather related delays. Also, we might suggest you skip the leaf guards – while they keep the leaves out; the wholes are too fine for water to flow when there is heavy rain.

They were fine. We did not go with them because of price.

The roof was in very bad shape. Kevin Blakeman, the owner, came by to check on things several times while the work was being done. His crew did a beautiful job putting on an architectural roof and covering the eaves with aluminum coil. They worked from morning through the evening until it was dark. Without me asking, they replaced some of the clapboards that were rotting and put new gable vents in. They were punctual and respectful and were some of the hardest workers I've ever seen! They cleaned up everything at the end of the day. They were meticulous with the quality of their work and I will definitely hire them again!

Very well. Kevin Blakeman was prompt, courteous, responsive, and careful. The roofing crew was meticulous in their approach to the job, and left the place virtually spotless. I only found three roofing nails on the whole property after they were finished. For a roofing job, that is spectacular. The only hiccup was that I didn't know that my satellite dish would need readjustment after they finished. Had I known in advance, I would have coordinated with Directv better.

The crew is very large- maybe 7 guys. They work very fast. They removed the old roof in a couple of hours and installed the skylights and the new roof in the pouring rain. Im not sure if that will affect the roof but time will tell.

The roof repair was a positive experience. Met with owner Kevin to get an estimate and discuss extra work I wanted done. Kevin provided estimate immediately and was always very prompt about repsonding to phone calls. After I signed the contract we scheduled an installation day. The crew (8 or 9 men) arrived on schedule and got to work immediately. All the work (described above) was done in one day. Crew cleaned up the mess, and the dumspter was hauled away the next day. Quite satisfied with the experience, and the rood looks great.

Won't hire them because they called a third time after I asked them not to because I had explained I found someone who could do the same work they offer and the woman rudely hung up on me.

Very responsive. Owner came to our house to review job. Gave us quote on the spot and arranged to perform the work within one week. Crew seemed hardworking and competent.

Mr. Blakeman from the very beginning was extremely responsive. I called and left a voicemail and was called back within 20 minutes. He came the next day and gave a price quote, after taking some measurements, etc. His quote was the best of five I had received. The work was scheduled for about two weeks out, and the shingles were delivered the day before work began. The crew arrived at approx. 7:30 am and completed the entire job by approx. 6:30 that night. Since it was getting dark, a crew member returned the following morning for about an hour and just went around picking up any debris they had missed the night before. The reasons I gave a B on punctuality is because the dumpster then sat in my driveway for about a week, and secondly, the work was originally estimated to be over by 5:00 that day, with clean-up completely done and the dumpster removed, so overall it took a very little bit longer than anticipated. The roof and the new flashing on the chimney look fantastic, the clean-up job was very thorough, and they even took care to protect my driveway from the weight of the dumpster, etc. There was only one small issue - a small tree in my front yard was destroyed during the course of the work done that day, which was unfortunate. However, when I brought the issue up with Mr. Blakeman, he immediately offered to let the replacement cost of the tree be removed from the final payment. There were no other changes to the estimate (for additional materials used, etc) - the figure never changed from our initial meeting. Overall I would recommend the company to anyone else (and actually already have). Another family member is scheduled to have some roofing work done by the company next week.

Original estimate was $6,100 but they soon found that all of the plywood needed to be replaced. Since only 3 pieces of plywood were included in the original estimate, the cost of replacing the remaining plywood added $2500 to the final cost. The workers showed up by 7 AM, were hard working and professional and completed the job by 7 PM. The foreman came by to inspect the job. There were spots of damage to some of the house shingles, which he offered to repaint. I was concerned at some gouging, looked to be caused by the ladder, called the owner and he told me that they would take care of it. They repaired the shingles and even a bit of damage that couldn't be helped over one of our bay windows. It looks perfect now. This is the first major job I've had done as a homeowner and I couldn't have picked a better company to deal with. In retrospect, I should have had the owner check out the plywood situation by going into the attic so that he could have included that in the original estimate. But the job was well done. We will see what the winter brings.

They are fabulous. The workmen were careful craftsmen. They were professional. They were very hard working and focused. They dis a great job. They do what they promised they would do. They are completely honest. The owner of the company called with information on a regular basis about the timing of the job and what was happening. I would not hesitate to hire him to do any job around the house. Their price was competitive. They did quality work. They respect the home owner. They did the job in one day. I would use them in the future.

He did a very good job and his price was reasonable. He returned my call promptly. He came out and looked at the job right away and said he could do it. Within a day or two he did the job.

I liked their promptness in getting here to get the work done quickly. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

They called me to solicit business, that should have been a warning sign. They had just done a neighbor's roof and he seemed happy with it. I asked the phone solicitor if they had experience with wooden gutters and she said she'd check and then called back to say "yes" and could she send someone out to do an estimate. The person who did the estimate seemed very competent and knowledgeable, that was the last time I saw him. Luckily I was attempting to do a little bit of the gutterwork each year so I would keep within my budget. They did a terrible job, there was obviously no communication between the estimator and Kevin Blakeman and the crew. Their first attempt, they put the gutter level so the water could not drain out. When I asked them to fix it they pried out the nails and reused them when I asked what kind of nails they were they had no idea, so of course they rusted (Ive since been told that they should have used stainless steel screws). Since then we have had ice damming each year when we never had it there before and we are now having it fixed by a carpenter who knows what he is doing and has pointed out at least 5 ways that they made mistakes to save money and speed the job along. They also have no sense of ashetics and asked if they could saw off the end of trimwork that would have made my house look lopsided. They also said they would use primed wood but did not use it everywhere saying they would paint it later. They also used Gutterseal which is supposed to be used on aluminum gutters but we had no aluminum except for the odd looking silver aluminum downspouts they chose to affix to the wooden gutter. To their credit they did come back to try to fix things but by this time I had no confidence in them to do it right I asked them to please leave (at the time I did not realize their work would cause Ice damming). To top it all off they were giving my name to neighbors as a reference! I had to ask Kevin to stop giving out my name he acted surprised. I couldn't believe it.

Kevin was very responsive, and was always available by cell phone. Unlike some other roofers, this company provides a quote in a timely manner and does the work as promised. Kevin had a good size crew on the roof doing the work promptly and they did a good job cleaning up.

I spent over $15,000 on that work. Initially I was impressed with his competitive price, but post job I had a problem and he corrected it immediately so that indicated to me that he does not back away to a commitment to a satisfied customer. He was going to put copper flashing in front of my house and aluminum at the back and when we went to the supply house they did not have aluminum flashing and copper is much more expensive. He bought all copper flashing for the front and back and put it in and did not say anything about how expensive it is.

Extremely hard working crew delivered good value. Caution !! anything out of the ordinary had to be conveyed to job foreman, and he had a mind of his own. Excellent clean up by crew, of grounds . This is not "old world creftsmanship "BUT, overall; a job well done , particullarly for the money. Good Value
