Description of Work: Ron came to a**** what was needed. He always looks to do not what makes him the most money but only what is needed. On 3 different occasions he could have suggested more extensive replacement and each time he suggested only what was needed. Ron returns phone calls in timely fashion and does clean efficient work.

Description of Work: I guess my husband did garage door repairs with him in the past because his decal was over the door opener. So when the door opener broke, I got another (HD) and called him to install it. He was very grumpy, distant, unprofessional. He neglected to install the (unit) lights , the mid-height sensors, or the outdoor keypad code. I have since found that his labor charges were at the top-end of the range. Less than a year later, the door was going up lop-sided so I called him to check it out. Again--seriously grumpy-- he charged over $100. for an 'adjustment' (thou I have to question if the door was properly aligned initially for it to have gone 'out of adjustment' within a year). Then the other night the motor couldn't get the door down (only 19 months after install). When I called him about it, he stumbled thru a lame excuse, then gave me the name of another repair person to contact.

Description of Work: I WANTED A GARAGE DOOR OPENER INSTALLED. THEY DO NOT PROVIDE THE OPENER UNIT BUT WILL DO THE INSTALLATION IF THE CUSTOMER GETS ONE. TOLD ME TO GO TO SEARS BUT OFFERED NO HELP AS TO WHAT I OUGHT TO BUY. I THOUGHT INSTALLATION IN MY DETACHED GARAGE MIGHT BE UNUSUAL AND SUGGESTED THAT THEY MIGHT WANT TO SEE THE KIND OF WORK THEY WOULD HAVE TO DO. THEIR RESPONSE, "PICK UP AN OPENER AND WE WILL INSTALL IT". END OF DISCUSSION

Description of Work: WHEN WE INITIALLY SPOKE ON THE PHONE, HE TOLD ME WHERE TO BUY THE AUTOMATIC GARAGE DOOR OPENERS AND ASKED THAT I CALL HIM BACK WHEN I WAS READY TO HAVE THEM INSTALLED. A FEW DAYS LATER, I CALLED HIM AND HE CAME BY TO INSTALL THEM. HE WAS VERY RESPONSIVE.

YEARS; IT WAS OFF THE TRACK, BROKEN CABLE, SPRING HANGING, ETC. I COULDN''T BUDGE IT IN ANY DIMENSION AND WAS DREADING HAVING IT REPAIRED ALL THIS TIME FOR FEAR IT WOULD NEED TO BE COMPLETELY REPLACED, AND COSTING BIG $$. KARRON OVERHEAD DOORS RETURNED MY CALL PROMPTLY, AND OFFERED TO TAKE A LOOK AT IT WHILE I WAS AT WORK (VERY CONVENIENT, AS I HAPPENED TO HAVE AN UNLOCKED SIDE-DOOR FOR THEIR ACCESS). THEY CALLED A WHILE LATER TO TELL ME IT WAS DONE. WHEN I GOT HOME, I WAS VERY PLEASED! I DON''T KNOW HOW THEY DID IT! THERE''S NO ELECTRICITY IN MY GARAGE YET, BUT WHEN THERE IS, YOU CAN BE SURE I''LL CALL KARRON''S TO INSTALL THE OPENER. GREAT JOB!
