This is one great company. I have been using this company for over 30 yrs. They never fail to provide excellent service - They are always responsive and professional.

They seemed very reliable. The only reason why we stopped using them is because we don't use that much oil anymore. Every time I call them, somebody very nice and professional answers the phone. They could have been a little more competitively priced. They're definitely a good company to work with.

Great service with Coan for 15 yrs+. Good response, courteous, good payment plans, do not try to pressure you. They do there job and are cordial but do not waste time talking.

We got bids from 4 companies. Coans was the lowest; but we chose them because they did the job when we needed it done and behaved very professionally throughout, as well as offering the best price.

I smelled oil and saw some leakage in my outside shed where the storage tank is located. It was Sunday and I called and spoke with the emergency line. Someone came right out to inspect the leak and plugged the hole until a new tank could be installed. Monday the Coan rep came out and assessed the situation. I explained that I was leaving on a trip Wednesday and asked if it could be installed the next day. Tuesday a new tank was installed. The old tank was in a VERY tight space and the Coan team managed to remove it with minimal damage to the shed. I was very happy. New oil tanks are pricey but Coan has a generous payment plan to offset the sticker shock I use Coan for my regular fuel delivery and have for over twenty years. No matter what the time or day, if there is an emergency they are always available to solve the problem.

Sandy (sales rep) was great and gave me a full proposal that was prize competitive. The service team completed the service on time and answered all my questions.

Coan was fantastic. They were on time, installed equipment and explained how it followed up with calls to make sure everything was working correctly. No 1 in service.

Removed old furnace and replaced with new one in less that a day. Clean up complete. Whe it appeared that furnace wasn't shutting down, they returned and revwired my NEST thermostat to run properly. Courteous! They also arranged for inspection by Naticle Fire Dept and were present for in spection.

They were professional, punctual, did a superb job. The installation crew was a pleasure to work with. They did an amazing job.

We were able to easily track down somebody from Coan who came to the house immediately and did a great job fixing the problem. Not only did they come out immediately but they talked us thru what to try and do to shut it off while they were in transit. Very happy with the service from coan (always am). What could have been a very bad sunday night was quickly fixed for a very reasonable price.

The service men that take care of my burner are just great. I know that when I have this done once a year that I am good for the season. They answer all my questions, and I have a lot, that help me to understand what I wanted to know. I have had them for 40 years and wouldn't have anyone else. I also am on automatic delivery so I don't have to worry about running out of oil.

I needed an outdoor air conditioner condenser unit replaced for one of my floors in my house. I had about 7 different companies come to provide an estimate. Coan Oil was the cheapest, and they provided a full written estimate, which included a 4-payment installment plan at no extra cost, and had an online credit card payment option, which means no hassle with checks and deposits. The installer came first thing in the morning on the day i had asked, and installed it perfectly, and quickly, and was very nice throughout the process. My only issue is the communication with the installation team. I was only going to be home on one particular day, and wanted to make sure that the installation would be for that day, and was never kept in the loop as to what was going on. i had called and emailed multiple times to secure this day, but the installation manager never got back to me on this issue. Luckily, they did come on that day. Other than this communication issue (which is easily fixable), the company was great, and I would absolutely recommend them, and hire them again.

They were wonderful - we needed some kind of central air that aligned with the Mass Saves Heat Loan and I wanted traditional central air in my two story cape, which is not an easy feat. They came over multiple times to determine the best way to install and gave me all the details of each option. We finally came to the realization that the mini splits were going to be the most cost effective, and best option for the house. We could not be happier with the results!

Contacted them about installing an A/C and never heard back. Extremely disappointed.

Fall of 2014 (not sure of exact date). Representative from Coan was very abrupt. Very dismissive when I asked questions. Could not have gotten out of my house any faster. Was there for less than 30 minutes. Lousy customer service. Had previously been Coan customer at former house for over 40 years. Very disappointing. Also had to wait several weeks for estimate as the rep who was here apparently did not make note of our name and the estimate was sent to the previous owner of the house who now lives in oregon. He must have looked it up by address not by name. The previous owner apparently was not too happy and from what I was told by a very nice woman at Coan when the error was discovered, the previous owner had threatened to sue Coan if they did not stop sending them mail. So - it just further validated my point that the rep could not have cared less as he did not even know our name.

He was on time and was in and out without any problems. He always explains everything he did, and does a great job! We have used this company for over 25 years and are very pleased!

The service was fine and I have been a repeat customer for years. They always come when they say they will and there is always someone in their office to answer phone calls. There are a couple of issues that they have not been able to resolve with the system but I plan to keep using them for any of my air conditioning needs.

They are pretty good. We had questions about our heating vents. There is an addition on our warehouse and we had some questions about the system so they sent a guy to look at everything. During the year, if you give them a service call, they come during normal business hours, but there is a charge if it is Sunday night or after midnight on Saturday. They are pretty acceptable and responsive.

Crew of two arrived on time. Work was professional, well organised and crew kept the area clean. Very glad we got the new tank Excellent Job.

We continued using the same oil delivery service that the previous owners used in our home. They were fine delivering oil and we never had any issues. The problem I have is with their customer service. My husband and I have called a dozen times over the last year to get an estimate on adding to our ac system. We have left messages, talked to reps and no one has ever called us back. The final straw was when I scheduled an ac inspection. I thought might as well use the company that installed it. Well, it was three weeks out for an appointment, which seems ridiculous. After waiting all that time they didn't show up. When I called, they said they had no record of my appointment...no apology...so we are done with this company. I am expecting them to lose my request to end oil delivery service as well.

Wer have been Coan customers for 35+ years, mainly because their heating oil prices have remained competitive and their service has always been excellent. This year we had two major jobs done by Coan: 1. We replaced the 50 year old oil tank in our basement to reduce the risk of leakage due to age and corusion. The work was scheduled within 3 weeks and completed on the day planned. The old tank was removed and the new one installed in one morning. The crew covered all of the work and access areas, and controlled odors very well. 2. Our hot water has always been heated with tankless coils in the boiler. While this has always produced limitless hot water in warm weather, the boiler cycled often year-round to maintain temperature, and the tankless coils could not overcome the very cold water in Winter, leaving us with tepid showers. We finally decided to consider a hot water booster or storage tank. The system suggested by Coan is a 40-gal. hot water storage tank heated by hot water from the home heating system. The hot water heating system was "zoned" to provide a source of to heat the storage tank. The tank is stainless steel with a lifetime guarantee. The tank is so well insulated that the boiler cycles much less often, saving oil consumption. When hot water is drawn from the tank the boiler is easily capable of maintaining the desired hot water temperature. The system works flawlessly as promised. The work took most of a day, and was completed with no mess left behind. Both jobs were scheduled at a time when we were planning driveway paving. Coan worked with us to expedite the work so that they could finish before the paving and avoid the need to bring heavy trucks onto the new pavement. The sales staff was friendly and responsive, and the work crews were wonderful.
