They are very expensive. Cost to have drain unclogged $651.35, unclogging this drain which was done from under the kitchen sink was not a complicated or involved procedure, After drain was unclogged and washer hose placed back in drain, water from washing machine hose spilled over. Mr. Rooter plumber told me it was because the pipe was not in code and I needed this replaced. Now mind you, this has never happened before when this drain has been unclogged. (I have lived here 46 years, drain has been unclogged 3-4 times previous, last time in 2012), why was it happening now, same washer, same drain. I was between a rock and a hard place and had the plumber put in the new pipe. I am elderly and disabled and needed this done. Cost now was $523.75 for 2 plastic pipe; and $624.03 for 2 plastic line. No digging was done for this. Total cost for me that day $1749.14. Actual time for this to be done was aprox. 30-45 min. for unclogging drain and maybe 2 hours for pipe. Plumber was outside assembling piping and preparing for work to be done for quite some time. Not happy with this company!

Very quick on the response. The dispatcher and Tech were very courteous and professional. The flat rate pricing was a little more than out in left field, it was over the fence!

I had an urgent repair with a release valve off of my well tank. Mr Rooter responded quickly to my inquiry and got to me that afternoon. Justin did an excellent job and went above and beyond to fix the issue. Not knowing what plumbing repairs cost, I was a bit sticker-shocked at the cost of the repair. Given the circumstances, however, I didn't have a chance to compare pricing, so I can't really comment or complain.

I talked to them before they came to the house. I told them I have a Kuna RO system. The woman I talked to checked with the technician and confirmed that they serviced this brand. When the technician arrived he looked at the system and said it was his first time seeing this system and was clueless in diagnosing or fixing the problem. It was a very disappointing experience for me.

Lewis from Mr. Rooter was smart, knowledgeable and a good mechanic. I'm very pleased with his work, although it was expensive.

I had a flood in my kitchen over the winter, needed a plumber to pinpoint the exact cause of the problem. I needed the plumber to explain to the insurance adjuster & instead he told me the problem & I had to explain to adjuster. No written information. I felt all he was trying to do was sell me stuff. My whole kitchen has to be ripped out because of damage; he's trying to sell me a faucet. I also had a slow toilet & feel that I paid way too much to have this fixed. Guy was nice & personable but when I needed him to be a professional plumber, I felt he failed.

The Gas Fitters were very professional and explained the installation process very effectively. We were impressed!

Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Southern Mass way overcharged for a release valve replacement. A job that took less than an hour he charged almost $410. The national average is under $200. Save yourself some money and shop around if you have time.

Very expensive. Charged $650 for replacing one shower head arm. Can t afford to hire them again.
