50 bucks to come, tell us what we already knew, do nothing, and give us a $787 estimate to replace one outside faucet. I'll give them this: they were here exactly when they said they'd be and that was the morning after I called, so it was at least PROMPTLY useless.

Jeff was one time, worre the protective booties on his shoes to enter the house, he did the work quickly and did exactly what I asked for. The only negative I would say is in my case, the work took about 20 minutes but they have a minimum rate of $359 so I paid a lot for what i needed but it was done on time and on schedule.

If an outdoor shower drips continuously, you havenâ  t fixed it...! I hired Mr. Rooter to fix an outdoor shower damaged by winter weather. When the plumber was leaving, he informed me that he had repaired the burst pipes, but in his assessment of the problem, he had overlooked that the valves shutting off the water to the shower werenâ  t tight and that it was dripping continuously. He said he could do nothing about it and that he was on his way to another job. -If you cannot assess the problem correctly, you obviously cannot fix it properly.

The quote to do this simple repair of a ruptured pipe was absurdly large, and I shouldnâ t have accepted it. Ultimately, I paid over $500 for a repair that took less than 45 minutes and used less than $20 of materials. When I emailed the owner to ask for a cost breakdown(that his plumber on site said he could not provide to me) and possibly a reduction in the amount paid for this service, he merely told me that he was sorry if I now regretted doing business with him and offered no explanation of the price I was charged. A subsequent check on an independent on-line review site showed that, of the 23 reviews posted there, four received two stars and seventeen reviews received one star. Reviewers there described experiences similar to mine, and many said they paid for work that was not even completed properly. Is this the sort of â top-ratedâ vendor HomeAdvisor/Angi recommends to its customers? Are any of these vendors vetted in any way or is any vendor willing to pay the requisite fees offered to customers on the site?
