excellent work and outstanding customer service. the price seemed a little high.

My forced air furnace was not working so had them come, they did not mention a 320$ diagnostic fee before they came. By the time they came it was working but seemed to intermittently have trouble firing up. Since they were already here I told them To continue since they would roll that into the labor if they did the repair. Their diagnostic fee was talking to the manufacturer after which they say that the condensate pipe was wrongly set up. This is a furnace that has been in place for 25 years and without any problems. I figured I did not want the furnace to conk off in the middle of winter so they could go ahead and fix it expecting that the 320$ would cover the cost. They actually quoted me 400$ over the diagnostic cost. They gave me a choice, if I do not want the repair I could just pay them 320$ and they would walk away. Or I pay them 720 for them to complete the job by fixing a problem that maybe was not the issue. I thought If I did not use them I would be stuck with getting a new plumber and short of 320$ so asked them to just complete the job. So for an additional 400$ he put in a 12 inches pvc pipe as a **T** junction and that justified the labor and material costs and the time to get the material- stuff that any plumber or home owner probably has at their disposal at all times. I could have bought the material for 8$ at Home Depot and put it together better than him. Shame on me for letting these con artists take advantage of me. This is a company that takes advantage of homeowners who unknowingly contract with them. I will never hire them again. They give their colleagues a bad name. - they may have the resources and maybe the first to respond which is why I hired them but their goal is extortion- their prices are not upfront and they lie about the complexity of the job and try to trick you into paying exorbitant sums. , STAY away from them. I have hired other contractors through home advisor and always had good experiences. This one is not one of them.

I was having some noise and vibration from my furnace and used Home Advisor to locate a HVAC company. The only company provided was Mr. Rooter Plumbing. The plumber arrived and initially attempted to fix the vibration from the furnace with a Q tip! He said it ?could? be the fan, but it was not necessary to replace it. I thought ?wow a contractor who is trying to save me some money.? Five days later, the furnace is not working. I manually light it myself and have him come back. I?m at work so tell him whatever needs replacing just do it. I come home to find my family telling me he did not t fix anything, the furnace just made a loud noise and now there smoke in the vents. I immediately called and got an answering service which stated that someone would call me back. Did not happen. I called again with the same result. The company called next morning (now Saturday) and needed to call the owner to authorize a new plumber as I thought the initial plumbing Mac Gyver was a bit unreliable. The company owner refused to send out a new plumber, never ordered any parts and it will be 4 more days to get the new motor. On top of that, they would not even order the part without a$500 deposit. I am not sure how pros get on Home Advisor, but I am seriously questioning the whole process. So, to summarize, I called at the first sign of a problem to prevent a home disaster. After 2 service calls nothing was fixed. The problem got worse and it will be 6 days without heat heading into the Christmas week-total disaster!

We have used Eric from Mr Rooter twice now and have been very pleased with his professionalism and reliability.

The company called and responded in a very short time. Very quick to come out and do the job. I asked for a cost breakdown, they do not do it. Give you a lump sum. The plumber went to get a part and said he did not know how much it was at the store because they had a corp. account. The part they fixed costs about $20. The final bill was unreasonably high.

Mark was exceptional. He was educational and informative. He gave me estimates on 4 other projects without trying to upsell me or give me a "gloom and doom" response if I didn't agree to something. Customer Service was excellent. The visit was quick as well. The estimates on the different projects seemed average to a bit high but if the quality of work is good, I'm ok with it.

Price about average for what others would charge for the same service. It did take 3 separate visits to completely solve the problem however. Though they did credit us some for the first visit since the technician completely missed what the primary problem was in the first place. Overall I am happy with their service.

The service was great! He even moved our old dryer to the garage for us. Would definitely recommend Mr. Rooter. The service man was also very nice!

Do not trust or hire this company. Their technician installed a hot water heater. His work caused additional problems. Than said he could fix the additional problems for additional fees.

Do not hire Mr. Rooter. He is terribly expensive and did not do the job satisfactorily. I am very disappointed

Very professional.....but a little on the expensive side.

I just felt that the price was very expensive for what they did. They were not in my house for an hour and the bill was over 500 dollars. All they did was disconnect my gas stove and hook it back up again.

Installer was super friendly and a pleasure to work with. Very customer focused.

Poor response time. Had to come back because they did not do what they were supposed to do the first time. Charged four times what I have paid in the past for the same service. NEVER AGAIN. Very disappointed and will probably stop using home advisor as well.
