Description of Work: I purchased a service and paid for it through Angies list. Mr Sullivan was unable to perform the service immeediately due to a family emergency. by the time we hooked up the service required was no longer needed. I' would like my money credited back to my credit card. I believe the total was $150.00

Description of Work: Jim and his partner repaved a small back patio which had developed a sink hole. They re-used the same stones and carefully laid them out on the grass in order to reproduce the existing decorative pattern, which I appreciated. They were always courteous and communicative. Nice job, nice people.

Description of Work: We had an issue with the flue on our chimney - it was essentially broken and needed to be repaired. Mr. Sullivan came in and took a quick look and offered a very quick solution. Not knowing any better we accepted the quick solution; which turned out to be nothing more than a band aid. Subsequently the flue broke completely. Given that he either did not understand the problem or did not care to fix the problem I cannot recommend him at all. On top of that he came late.

Description of Work: Check chimney, remove blockage.

Description of Work: Repaired chimney cap, replaced some broken bricks and repointed areas of the chimney that we're cracking.

Description of Work: Contractor cancelled on many occasions, didn't show up at the time he said he would, showed up several hours later. No regard for my schedule. We finally scheduled a day for the work and he showed up without all of the equipment he needed, so then he had to come back. What he said would take 2 to 3 days actually could be done in one day if started at an appropriate time. The work he did looks great, but the time spent trying to schedule and then wait for him to show was not worth it.

Description of Work: Jim Rebuilt the top 3 feet of our poorly constructed chimney, and realigned the flue. He also repaired several broken bricks and re-pointed and sealed the chimney. Additionally he ran a liner down the repaired chimney for me to connect to a new fireplace insert. His work was exceptional and very professional. I would give him an A but he was not prompt when following up at the beginning of the job, I expected the work to begin in August and Jim did not call back until September.

Description of Work: Repair railings in stairs & seal slab stairs. It was great! Jim & his fellow worker were able to fix our issue quickly. Outcome is exactly what we wanted. Perfect!!

Description of Work: Although scheduling such a small job took awhile, Jim stayed in touch to keep me apprised of when the masonry repair would be done. The mason who did the work was the perfect man for the job, who went overboard to please. The job was done on professionally, on time and most important-done well. I would definitely hire Jim again for my masonry work.

Description of Work: Vendor stated that required work would greatly exceed the 8 hour allotment of the deal and instead wanted to provide a quote. I am therefore cancelling the request.

Description of Work: Jim Sullivan responded very quickly to the coupon order and scheduled an appointment. At the meeting to view the project Jim gave a description of how he would proceed with the job, and a day or so later provided a quote via email. The quote was several times the value of the coupon and we declined the job.

Description of Work: I paid $149 and he says nothing need to be done in our walkway. I think I should get my money back, even partially... I don't think coming to my house from his office,less then 20 miles n look at the property does cost $149 |He was prompt though with his appointment n service...
