Davestar Powerwashing and Roof Cleaning

I'm going to be fair with this review. Honestly I am not sure that I would use him again, except that he did do the job he set out to do. Pros: He did the job that was asked. The house does look better. He did state that he protected the plants below the house which is something I didn't think of myself. Cons: You can't set an appointment with him. I did the big deal at a time when we still has snow on the ground and I wanted this done towards the end of April start of May. When he called to see when was the best time for him to come out I thought we'd toss a few dates back and fourth and schedule it. No. He calls you a couple days ahead of when he thinks he can come out and see's if its good for you. If not it might be weeks before he will call again. Tip. Buy an Appointment book and a pencil. Some windows were still dirty it may have been that it dripped down from above. There was no different cleaning product used between the siding and the windows. Perhaps windows were not part of the deal. Speaking of deal. I suggest you just clarify up front what will or won't be done. It's hard to get him out beforehand to see what you expect to be done and what he will do and what "extra" is it going to cost. So try to be on the same page as early as possible in case you need to cancel the deal.

I bought a coupon from Dave for power washing ($199 for 1800 sq ft). He responded within 24 hours via email and then called a couple of days later. Due to the coupon, he was booked for a few days but Dave was very responsive. In fact, he called to schedule earlier than I was expecting. He came on a sunny but cool day and examined the house thoroughly. He explained what steps he would take to clean the siding and how he would protect the shrubs. We both agreed to do 2 sides that get the least sun (other two sides were clean upon inspection). It came to the 1800 sq ft and for the discount rate I had already paid for. Dave got to work and completed in less than 1.5 hours. I plan to use Dave the next time. I've also recommended him to a work colleague. Dave is courteous, informative and reliable.

Called to make an appointment to have our gutters cleaned out. Dave asked for some details about the house to try to give me an idea about the cost, but I'm not good at remembering details on the fly. Within a couple weeks he was able to come out to perform the job. We did a walk around first so he could get an idea about the size of the job - we have a large house with long gutter runs on all 4 sides at varying heights. The price quoted was definitely reasonable given the size of the job. He worked quickly and did a great job. Will be calling him in the fall to come back so we don't have to deal with packed gutters all winter again. Thanks Dave!

The powerwashing made our blah looking faded yellow house a bit less blah (though a paint job would be needed for true de-blah-ing). It looked really clean and nifty when he was finished, and the windows and screens benefited tremendously.

My only contact with Dave was by phone, but he was very accommodating. He came and went while I was gone, but I knew he had been here because the white accents on my house were so bright! Everything was neat as a pin and I would definitely recommend his company.

Great!! He returned my initial call quickly, came by met with me and my husband. Very personable. Got a quote and was back within a couple of weeks to get project done! He called with an opening and came over!! Very impressed!! Would highly recommend his services!!!

The house looks brand new after he finished it. I needed fast service to list my house for sale. He came the day after I called him. As a bonus he washed the wheelchair ramp attached to the front porch so it looked brand new when it was taken apart and picked up.

It was excellent and they left the work area clean.

Our vinyl is from 1984z he got it as sparkling as he could and removed years of algae . He was very nice and worked hard. He made sure I was happy with it before he left.

I purchased the $199 power wash of house special from Angie's List. Because of the size of my house I paid an additional $300. Dave contacted me immediately after my online purchase. He was very pleasant and professional. We made my appointment for last weekend (Saturday) at 11am. Dave showed up on time. Surveyed the exterior of my house and gave me the new price. I understood completely and authorized him to proceed. Even though it was a very windy day and didn't mind. He donned his rain gear and cleaned every inch of my house and spent extra time cleaning the green mold/mildew on the lattuce work under my front porch. He even had me look around the house when he was almost done to ensure that I was happy with the job so far. HE WAS TERRIFIC!! DID A GREAT JOB! I will definitely use him again in the future as he also power cleans gutters and downspouts. Great job Dave!!!

Dave called me promptly upon purchase, to get all the detail about my house (measurements, etc.) and told me that as soon as the weather turned a little warmer, he would call me to schedule. As soon as the ice melted around the house, about a week later, he called again to schedule. We agreed on 8 a.m. on a Saturday morning, and he was there promptly, with a smile! They square footage of my house was a little over, but he gave it to me for no additional charge. He did a great job, and I'd be glad to recommend his services!

I contacted Dave a few days before we scheduled the work. Over several days we communicated over the phone, SMS, and email to work out the details. Because of the situation we agreed that the best approach was for Dave to bring enough people to get the job done in 1 day and I'd pay him at a per person hourly rate. On the day of the work Dave arrived as scheduled with a second worker. We quickly went over what was to be done and then they went to work. At all times Dave was tolerant of my perhaps overwrought concern regarding several hundred lbs. ice sickles falling on the ground beside my windows. He was pleasant to work with, reasonable, and as far as I could tell he and the second worker worked hard and did a good job. He took good care of my house and used safety equipment to keep himself and his worker safe. I'm sure during this time (i.e. a record breaking 5 ft. of snow on the ground and another foot or more on the way) there were contractors that were charging inflated rates for clearing roofs. In my view Dave's rates were completely reasonable and I appreciate that he was not taking advantage. Dave's estimate for the time to do the work was 6 to 8 hrs., and the work was completed in 6. At all times Dave made sure that we both had the same expectations regarding everything that would happen and took care to clarify any points of possible misunderstanding. He did everything he said he would do and was professional throughout. I'd definitely hire him in the future.

Dave was very responsive! I did not realize the gutters were as full and clogged as they were. It was late November, and I should have had this done a few weeks prior. Dave returned my email within a few hours, and he squeezed me in to his schedule within just a couple of days. The job was straightforward, but high off the ground. Up between 2 and 2.5 stories, due to the way the house is situtated into the surrounding area. He worked carefully across, and then he used the hose to make sure the down spouts were clear as well. Overall it took longer than I thought it would, but this is because Dave worked to do a very thorough job. With his expertise in Powerwashing, I asked him for a quote on the walkways and driveway area while he was at the house. Thanks Dave!

Prompt, efficient service. Dave explained the work as well as recommendations for repairs as he went along.

Called Dave on a friday, he answered his phone no need for phone tag. He said he could come out by Sunday and that he would call or text to confirm (i do like when people text, although some may not). During out initial conversation I explained my house and gutters, he quoted $125.00. I do know my house well, the size shape and dimensions in general. So he was able to stick to the original quote. He does clean by hand, and does not use a gutter hose type of equipment. Overall I am very please, and will be calling him back this time next year.

Dave showed up on time. on a Sunday he was the only person that would come clean my gutters out a.s.a.p I was late in the gutter cleaning season and we'd already had snow. Just bought my house Dave came out and did an excellent job got all the leaves and ice chunks out made sure everything flowed well.

David was very prompt each time that I needed to speak to him for scheduling etc. He is extremely polite and punctual. He cleaned up after himself and did not damage anything on our property (as some other gutter cleaners have in the past). His pricing is very reasonable. Some parts of our gutters were surprisingly frozen; however, he used an ice pick to go over those areas. This was time consuming for him, but he did a perfect job and stuck to his quote...which is something I appreciate. I would definitely recommend him to everyone I know and I hope to continue to do business with him on a regular basis.

Dave was quick to respond to my voice mail. We setup an appointment for a Sunday. He was punctual. He explained what was involved and let me know what he found during the cleaning and inspection. We discussed power washing the entire house next spring. I am considering calling him when its time!

Dave did an excellent job. Very thorough, punctual and courteous. My house had not been power-washed in quite a few years and Dave was very conscientious about doing a thorough job. He cleaned the exterior of the house, some parts of which were really grimy and looked like new afterwards. He also cleaned out the gutters which were clogged with leaves and yuck. Very thorough and courteous. Would definitely call again.

Dave arrived right on time and spent a great deal of time on troubled areas!! When he was done, the house looked great - windows were free of cobwebs I hadn't been able to reach!! Don't hesitate to use this Company!!!
