They were right on schedule with their work. Everything was cleaned up and left in perfect condition afterward. Hire them, and you will not be disappointed!

Description of Work: I was very pleased with the roofing job that was done. John gave the best price and was able to accommodate the curved roof rake on my bow roof with a custom edging. The crew did a good job with cleanup except for the last day. John came back and swept up as needed and fixed the rain diverter over the front door which was a bit too short.

We had an estimate done for siding our house, and also for some additional remolding work, and in the end we decided to go with another company to do the work. Had we chosen them, I am very confident we would have been very pleased with the outcome. I would recommend you consider them for your next job.

Description of Work: A couple of shingles blew off my roof in during Hurricane Sandy. I was concerned about getting the roof repaired before rain water would cause water damage in the house. I called 3 contractors. All Under One Roof was the only one to return my call. They were doing another project in the neighborhood. They stopped by to check the roof while I was not home. They did the repair immediately. The price was reasonable. This was great service at a time when contractors were presumably busy dealing with lots of customers with storm damage. I have dealt with this company a few times in the past 15 years. All experiences have been good.

Description of Work: Original comment: A number of years ago I had All Under One Roof put a roof on and completely put vinyl siding on a two family house. The first problem was I had chosen beige siding, they put grey. I was not happy, but let it go. Now I think it was a lesser quality as the siding has warped. It is a disgrace. The owner I dealt with has died. I would not have them do anything again and am surprised they are still in business. Update: I was completely wrong in my blaming the siding. A new owner has taken over All Under One Roof and is really working hard. He was able to explain to me what caused the warped siding. It is truly a frightening problem for our society. Neighbors in close proximity replaced their windows with new energy-efficient windows without screens. The solar glare from those windows has caused the siding on my house to meil. This is a widespread problem which can be read about if you Google " Melted Sidiing:" Chronicle did a report on this .It involves not only vinyl sidiing, but in some cases has caused cedar shingles to catch fire. The temperature from the windows reaches 200 degrees and can break windows in automobiles, catch lawn furniture on fire, etc. This is obviously a serious problem of which most people are not aware. John from All Under One Roof has contacted me many times and arranged to have the Certainteed Siding Distributor supply $1000 worth of sidiing to replace the melted siding. They did not have to do this, but I am certainly grateful. Today John has a crew doing the work to replace the melted siding which is actually a top-of-the line item. John has gone beyond anything I would have expected and I plan to have him give me an estimate for a roof replacement at a different location. I would highly recommend that you talk to John at All Under One Roof for any siding or roofing jobs.

Description of Work: Of the 8 contractors that assessed the leaking roof & chimney, only this contractor & one other looked at the roof from the inside. Was knowledgeable about construction & quickly determined the leak was from the chimney. His price was not the lowest but only he & one other contractor (who's price was comparable) seemed to have a good handle on what needed to be done. He followed through with everything he planned, had a mason he worked with who repaired the chimney ($4000) and did an efficient, quality replacement of the roof with appropriate repairs ($10,000). This was an unusually large roof & a chimney that needed rebuilt.

Description of Work: John re-shingled our 3,000 sq. ft. ranch with 50 year IKO laminated architectural shingles and repaired our chimney. Old shingles were stripped; rotted plywood replaced; 8" heavy gauge aluminum drip was installed; bottom roof edges and valleys received 6' of ice and water barrier; above the sky-lights full ice and water barrier was installed; 30lb felt underlayment above all ice and water shield; old flashing kits were dismantled on the 2 skylights and new step flashing was installed surrounded by ice and water barrier; a GAF Cobra ridge vent was installed to the entire ridge; and all pipe boots/vents were replaced. John also repaired our 50 year old chimney. All joints were cut up to 3/8" depth and re-tuck pointed using new mortar, a new cement crown was installed on top of the chimney, new lead flashing was installed into the chimney and tied into the roof, and 1 coat of waterproofing was sprayed on entire chimney.

Description of Work: They returned our calls and came out to give an estimate quickly. They performed the job in July 2006, a little later than originally estimated but earlier than expected due to the wet spring weather. They stripped our old roof, installed new shingles with ridge vents, and repaired some wood trim between 2 sections on our gambrel roof. Workers were courteous and very neat. No nails were found in the yard at all. They always draped tarps over the section of the house they were working over. Job was finished in about 5 days (it's a big roof and we had some rain that week). We hired this company on the recommendation of 2 neighbors.
