Description of Work: They picked up two Oriental rugs from my downtown Boston apartment, one a light colored rug with a red wine stain, cleaned them and returned to me -- laying them down, moving furniture etc. Impressive customer service!!!

We have the correct cleaning solutions to remove the odor completely and safely. Unfortunately, the urine can damage the wool fibers permanently. Description of Work: We had a flood in our basement and a hand dyed oriental rug was damaged. I called Melrose and the owner David came out right away. Since he was there, I also asked him to clean a less expensive rug that an aging dog had been relieving himself on. David took care of both problems at a good price. He also told me how to try to salvage one of the rug pads so I wouldn't have to buy a new one. I'm happy with the professionalism of the company and would definitely use them again.

Thank you for the complimentary review. It is very important for a rapid response when a rug has been involved with a flood. By getting there quickly, we lessened the chance for further damage and greatened the chance to reverse damage that had already begun. I am glad we arrived when we did. Unfortunately, pet urine is a very common issue on oriental rugs. Sometimes it can involve several washings, but typically we have great success at removing the odor. Your happiness confirms that. We called to get an estimate for cleaning an area rug. They were able to come out the same day and take the rug. Initially, they told us it would be several weeks before it would be ready, but when they saw that we had a toddler they said they would try to get it to us faster. They cleaned the rug and returned it to us in about 2 weeks. The rug looks gorgeous.

When I got there they were very nice. They knew exactly where my rug was from and they seemed very knowledgeable. They got to it right away, and they called me twice to tell me that my rug was ready the day they said it would be. They suggested ways to protect it.
