We had six oriental / Turkish / Indian silk rugs that were long overdue for cleaning, and one of the rugs was ruined by pet stains. We decided to coordinate the rug cleaning with having our floors refinished. David was super responsive and provided helpful insight for the timing of the project. Melrose Oriental Rug did an amazing job cleaning the rugs and they look spectacular. My husband thinks they look cleaner and brighter than when we first bought them :) . The rug that was 'ruined' (that I had resigned myself to replacing) looks like new again. The team was professional, courteous and meticulous in both the removal and return of the rugs. The job was done in the time frame and for the price quoted. Delightful company to work with and they far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend them!!

I took in several oriental rugs to be cleaned and had some repairs done. Every one I interacted with was great and my rugs came out amazing. They communicated effectively via e-mail and phone. I would highly recommend them!

The team did good work. The owner was personally involved in both picking up and reinstalling the rugs. They got the stains out, even tackling a challenging silk rug successfully.

Extremely well. They picked up rugs a couple of days before we went on 2 week vacation and returned and installed them a couple of days after we returned. We are very pleased with the quality of the work and the service. All of the people there, including the owner, are delightful to work with.

Excellent service. If I could rate them higher or greater than FIVE STARS, I would! David, the owner, and his employee, Ozman, picked up and dropped off the rug. The rug, which is pale colored, was stained terribly with red wine and Black Guinness beer, after a party. I thought the rug was ruined. (Not only was the rug very expensive, it is no longer made and I would be unable to replace it. My living room ceiling is painted to mirror the rug's design.) Dave, the owner, and Ozman did an absolutely amazing and PLUPERFECT job cleaning the rug, (which I thought was completely ruined) and is now gorgeous again! MELROSE RUG AND DAVE did a Fantastic job with impeccable service!! I would recommend them to everyone and anyone. I am ecstatic with their services and professionalism. Furthermore, Dave, who is the OWNER, personally came to my home to pick up and drop off my rug, as well as calling me personally. In this day and age, to have this high level of service from the owner of the business is a rarity, yet so greatly appreciated. Also, the service price was a lot less than I anticipated given the stains on the rug, and the size of the rug. Overall rating: Absolutely Excellent!!

Terrific! David sent his folks out to collect the rugs on a Saturday, which is an unusual pickup day for them but worked on my calendar. Within a day, I got a call from David with an update on the rugs and their condition, as well as an updated price. The rugs were done a few days early and delivered in brand new condition -- looking spectacular. The team that delivered the rugs was professional and incredibly careful about placement. They moved big furniture to accommodate the rugs and set them up perfectly. I would absolutely hire these folks again.

Very well. They also gave me honest advice re. a runner that was holey and moth infested and suggested not investing $ in it (unless for sentimental reasons.) That runner ended up in the trash. I was very grateful for their expert advice and honesty.

I was completely pleased with the professionalism and friendliness of the whole operation and the quality of the cleaning. Dave also offered us some very useful advice - that one rug maybe was not worth cleaning and repairing while another needed repairs where it was starting to unravel. The phone estimates were reliable and pick-up and delivery was punctual and professional. Dave, the owner picked up and reinstalled the rugs and the whole experience was great.

The rugs are clean. They look clean and do not smell like chemicals. The work was completed as promised. I am so happy that through Angie's List I learned about this business.

Great work, very professional, reasonable price- trust worthy. I brought in my parents rug, nothing valuable but sentimental, which was quite abused. They seem to treat every one and every rug with respect- regardless of the job or the individual- made me feel at ease. The only minor point is that I had to call to check on the status, they forgot to let me know it was finished initially. I ended up not being able to pick it up for a bit because I was moving but to their credit they were understanding about the delay. Over all great experience and I loved how involved the family/ownership was in their services. You won't be disappointed if you choose Melrose Oriental Rug!

Everything from start to finish was courteous, professional, reasonably priced. And my rugs look great, the colors popping like they did when I first bought them.

I contacted Melrose Oriental after reading positive reviews on Angie's list. From the first contact to delivery of the cleaned rugs, it was probably the best customer service/vendor experience I've ever had: prompt responses to email, direct attention from owner David, professional and helpful pickup and delivery, quality work, very fair price. I highly recommend - they deserve a AAA+ rating!

He did a wonderful job, surpassed my expectations. His staff was polite and responsive to our needs. The price was fair considering the quality of the work.

Mr. Mouradian is great at customer service. He came when he said he would, followed up quickly and discussed ways to try to tackle the problem in the house (moth traps). The whole project was expensive due to the number of rugs we had - and also because we added nice rug pads. We had an unusual situation and needed to address it. I would use the company again. I now know rug cleaning is a bit like car maintenance. It can extend the life of your rugs. Today my husband and I were noting how much work it is to follow up with certain providers (either to get service in the first place, or to get attention once you have paid them). Mr. Mouradian stands out from almost anyone we have worked with in terms of responsiveness. The quality of the work was excellent, and I had a number of the rugs "moth proofed" (and 2 camel bags are still wrapped in moth balls - due to come out I think - as they were prime roosting grounds). I now know rug cleaning is a bit like car maintenance. It can extend the life of your rugs. I wholeheartedly recommend Melrose Oriental Rug.

Having had Melrose Rugs clean oriental rugs before, I was confident that they could tackle the difficult stains in one of my rugs; it now looks and feels (and smells) like a "new" rug (it's an older, antique-ish rug). They take great care with each rug and do not return one to you until they are fully satisfied that they would put it in their own house. In the past, I have had them deal with light pulls and pills, as well as rug fringe and edge repairs. In all cases, they explain what needs to be done and provide an immediate cost assessment. I have had rugs cleaned by other dealers, and Melrose beats them for the quality of work and the price. Highly recommended!
