Larry came out as promised and provided a thorough quote promptly. We ended up using a different contractor for the basement floor since the other contractor was available sooner, but have not yet decided on who we will use for our chimney. Larry has a great reputation and I would not hesitate using him for a future job.

They did an excellent job. The price was very fair. Even though he did some extra work he did not over charge me. The crew was very clean and cleaned up after themselves and I would highly recommend. I am a repeat customer and I am very please with them each time.

Originally I had only planned on hiring Larry and his crew to rebuild my chimney and fix/rebuild my front steps.. After seeing the amazing work they did I extended their work with me and had them build a brand new brick walk away. They were beyond amazing. They matched the brick to perfectly to the old brick on my chimney, the stairs they built for my are just stunning and then there is the piece de resistance of my walk way.. GORGEOUS doesn't begin to sum up how pleased I am with the work. Larry and all of his crew were so professional, arrived on time, completed all the work, the work stayed exactly at the price I was quoted. Capuano did such an amazing job a few months later my neighbor even hired them to rebuild her chimney as well. I would recommend them to anyone

Larry came recommended by Whittemore Hardware, but I went with another contractor due to a lower cost. Big mistake - wound up firing the original contractor. Larry was gracious enough to come out, inspect what was done and give a quote for finishing the job. His team was on time and professional. One of the workers came by weeks later to offer much appreciated advice on brick laying as well. Was very impressed with the work and hired Capuano Construction later on the year to rebuild the chimney.

It turned out great. They were professional. They didn't pressure us in anyway. They kept the job site very clean. The final work is just beautiful.

Got Larry's name from an occupational therapist who absolutely raved about him. Thought if she could sing his praises, he had to be good. Called and set up a time for him to come out. Came, listened to my concerns, answered my questions, gave me places to check out his work for myself, and an approximate start date. I checked out his references, called him back, made a change, and hired him. I am so thrilled I did. He went above and beyond in mine and my sons estimation.

They were nice, but too expensive. They were on time and professional.

It went very well. They called ahead of time and asked if they could come on a Friday to set up the staging and then start the work on Monday. We have a slate roof so they had to be very careful not to damage any of the slate. As far as we know they didn't do any damage. They came back and did all of the work and they cleaned up perfectly afterwards. Everything was all swept up at the end of each day. My husband is incredibly a perfectionist and he was very happy with their work. We asked them to come back and do additional work on our brick front steps. We did not do comparative pricing and we thought the price was reasonable. My husband liked the guy that came out.

I called him and he returned my call. He came out to give us a quote in a couple of days. He was great. We went with someone else who was a little bit cheaper, but I think we should?ve gone with Capuano Construction. He was very professional and seemed like a perfectionist who really took pride in his work.

They did a very good job on the steps. It has been done with blue stone. Unless something happens when the weather turn cold and they crack, I do not have any problems with the steps. I will be able to assess that only in April-May next year. However, the chimney repair was not too good. I am not qualified to say whether they did some additional work. One section of brick was not replaced at all which I thought would be replaced. Perhaps it did not need to be replaced. If there are problems with the chimney before 10 years then maybe they will have to come back and do it.

He did a great job. He was very easy-going and very professional. He gave us a professional estimate and we really trusted that he could do the work. For the work he did the price was worth it, and it included the materials too. He got back to us really quick. He was always on time and punctual. Once we wanted him to work for us it took three weeks before he could come out.

It took a long time between signing the contract and when they actually came out to do the work (2 months?). That aspect of it was a bit haphazard as they were slipping us inbetween jobs, so we only really knew when they were coming out the day before it happened. They did always call me back right away when I would call to inquire about it and were polite and professional with me in their conversations. The work was done to perfection, so it was worth that hassle. I would work with these folks again but with the expectation that it might take a while for them to actually come out.

Larry Capuano and Capuano Construction did an excellent job from start to finish. Any questions were answered promptly, and work was performed as specified. Concerns that were raised about removal of debris were quickly addressed, and schedule estimates for start and completion of work were accurate. Work was performed at the price estimated. Value for money was excellent. I would hire Capuano Construction again, and would recommend them for masonry work.

It went very well. He was very responsive and came over when he said he would. He was very easy to work with. The brick steps were completed first, just a few days after we talked. The workman did an excellent job of matching the brick. We're very happy. The patio was a more complicated project. We had blacktop with a downspout spilling out onto it, so in the winter it was a sheet of ice. We replaced the blacktop with pavers and sent the downspout underground and into the back yard. In the implementation, a new water problem was created by raising the level of the patio above the level of the driveway (hence the B grade on quality), but he worked with us to find a solution to that at no additional cost. We've finally had enough rain that I can report that the solution works pretty well.

I received a prompt reply from Larry after calling Capuano with my job. We scheduled an appointment, and he was the first mason I met with personally about my job. He was thorough and made a number of recommendations for the property. All of his recommendations were thorough and consistent with the opinion of several other masons. He appeared very detailed, was professional, and insightful. All in all, I really liked his proposals. There were two reasons we did not elect to use Capuano: his price was significantly higher than other masons and his recommendations were more thorough than others. Granted, the work he proposed was more time intensive and thorough than his competition. However, it lead us to wonder how much of the work was actually necessary and how much as necessary to achieve his high standards of quality. There was absolutely nothing wrong with Capuano, and I would recommend the firm if not for the above-average prices. Recommended.

I called Larry and left a message, he returned my call the next day and we agreed on a time for him to come by. He arrived on the agreed upon day and was friendly and professional. He mailed me a formal quote within a few days to remove an 18 x 18 cement block wall and rebuild. His quote was cheaper than others, but that was because he recommended using plain cement blocks as opposed to the beveled type that others had quoted. We had wanted to try and match the existing block, but Larry suggested it wasn't necessary since it was the rear wall and no one would see it. We ended up not going forward with the job, as we're not sure if the garage is worth saving, we may decide to rebuild it completely.

Larry did call us back promptly and provided us with an estimate for the work.

Capuano's wasn't the best price I received when looking for quotes. Larry's questions, when he stopped by to assess the work, helped me decide that I wanted him to do the work. He was thorough, and asked questions/offered suggestions that others hadn't to ensure that I'd be happy when the work was done. It took a little longer than I had hoped to get going on the work, but once started, Larry's team was fairly quick. They were clear on what decisions I needed to make and what my options were. They were helpful and flexible during the process by bringing along samples of different pavers to simplify decisions on color and texture. Larry was up front with his opinion on materials/options that wouldn't last over time. The workmanship is excellent. I'm certain both will last for a long time. When the work was complete everything was cleaned up nicely. The net was worth the wait, a new set of steps and a walkway that we're very happy with. I'd definitely go with Capuano's again.

Larry was very prompt in returning our phone call and providing us with an estimate for the work. The workers arrived on time, were very friendly and did an excellent job. Both Larry and the workers have been back to make sure everything is to our liking. We would not hesitate to recommend this company and are anticipating using them again to install a patio.

LARRY RESPONDED PROMPTLY TO ALL MY PHONE CALLS. HE STARTED THE JOB WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD, AND GAVE ME THE NOTICE I ASKED FOR. HIS STAFF WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS. THEY DID A FANTASTIC JOB ON MY FRONT STEPS, AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM VERY HIGHLY. I WOULD HIRE CAPUANO CONSTRUCTION AGAIN IF EVER NEEDED.
