A couple times we had problems with our furnace, and they have come immediately. The owner is very involved and very personable. He is a great guy. They have a payment plan they set up with you over the course of six months.

They do what they are suppose to do. They deliver the oil on time so that I have never run out. They service my furnace at regular intervals. I have never had any trouble with them. I have been dealing with them since 2003. I have never done any comparison price shopping. On a few occasions we have had an emergency, and they have been right out.

I made the service call at approximately 8 AM. A service tech was at my front door within a half hour from the call. He did some test readings on the electrical system and identified the problem as the controller on my indirect water heater. He attempted to rewire the contoller. The burner kicked back on for about 10 minutes then would not restart again. He went back to the shop and retrieved a new controller, which he installed. The boiler was back up and running by 10:30 AM. I have had to replace the controller for the water heater before. After doing some research on line it appears the controllers for this unit have quite a few issues. To change the contoller myself would not have been difficult to do but I did not have one on-hand. I will probably buy one to keep on-hand. This will save me the cost of the service call and the part mark up which doubles the cost of replacing the unit myself.

With respect the the actual technicians that do the repair, they are all excellent. My problem was with the office personnel. We had been good customers of Medway oil for many years however this year when it came time to close out our budget amount that went way over, I was working with them being I lost my job. My final payment had just hit 30 days and I drove to their office and hand delivered over half the balance due. When they asked me when the balance would be paid, I said by the end of the month. On 8/22/2011, I paid them in full, again delivering a check to their office. While there, I inquired about cap pricing for the up coming year and asked about automatic refill. I was informed that we were already on auto refill and it would not change.About 2 weeks later, we ran out of oil on a Friday night. I called and the person who called me saying they would get someone out on Monday as his office manager said there was something wrong with the account. I told him that I had 2 teen aged girls and a wife that needed to take showers for school and work and his response was "Rick, you won't die...." I asked if the owner knows he speaks to customers like that and he then told me he was Jeff, the owner. We then got hit with the hurricane. This would make the second time we ran out of oil and I don't know how this happens when we are to be on auto delivery. Their delivery guys were up and down. When we had the worst storms last winter, they yelled at me for not plowing a path to the fill pipe. I just think they have lost the meaning of customer service and over all understanding of bad times.

The pricing was probably okay and the interaction with them was fine. They refilled the oil and I sent them a cheque. I never even saw them.

The oil is brutally expensive right now and we had a horrifyingly cold and snowy January. I have been here for my entire life and I have never seen this quantity of snow. We have never experienced this much snow in this short period so it's been radically cold and we have burnt through a boat load of oil. The Egypt thing has jacked the prices up, so it is very expensive. I had to buy the most amount of oil that I have ever bought in one servicing and it was 190 gallons. It is one thing if it is 190 gallons spread over 5 months, but it is a different story when it is 190 gallons spread over 4 weeks. The price was $3.60 per gallon. That was literally for only 4 weeks worth of oil. The size of the house also plays a part in it. It is okay if I had a 6000 square foot house, but I only have an 1800 square foot house which is not big at all. We are burning more than $150.00 a week in oil. I have heard that they are pretty expensive, but I don't know for a fact. I believe there are big companies that are cheaper. Medway did a good job of putting in the propane. They are very professional and they are very responsive. They are pricey. They are very quick about their work. They don't have any problems coming out when I need them to. I think that we are getting a quality job and we have to pay for it. I am probably paying a premium for the service. We have had other things done. They have come and worked on our heater and they have done a good job there.

The entire process of setting up new service was handled very promptly, efficiently, and professionally. We were very pleased with them.

we never run out of fuel, the maintenance visit went fine, helpful, knowledgeable, reasonably priced, but I can't remember the charge for the maintenance visit.

We started using them in April of 2008. They started giving us a baseline. The owner did this for us. The last delivery that we got in 12-02-08. They charged us $2.60 a gallon for the oil. They liver when they say they will. We are not on automatic delivery, so we call them. We have very pleased with their service.

They were very friendly and responsive to my questions.

They have been fantastic. We have been with them for fourteen years. They put in our boiler and have been servicing it ever since. We are really happy with them. They are really responsible and good at what they do. We have all good things to say about them.

I like them because they are responsive and honest. They give me a good amount of attention and return my calls. They come around twice a year to check the furnace and that costs $100. Then the oil filling is done on a monthly basis and costs from $200 to $300 a month.
