We just disliked the rep from the first firm we contacted, but we would have used him if we hadn't stumbled on Medway Oil. Incredible responsiveness, workmanship at, compared to the other, was a remarkably fair price. I strongly recommend this firm. The owner himself was involved with our account from the beginning, including being present for the installation (at no charge to us) of a buried 500 gal. tank.

We contracted with Medway Oil and Propane to deliver our home heating oil last season. Their sales rep promised great things, and the prices he quoted were great. The only problem is, we've never received those prices. I understand the market fluctuates, but Medway's per gallon price is always way above other published prices. Moreover, we're supposed to get a new customer discount of 10 gallons per delivery, which I always have to remind them of when I call to pay. I have to call to pay by credit card, because I can't trust them to automatically charge the correct amount. Today when I called the rude ladies to pay, they tried to tell me the 10 free gallons were offered at a discounted rate (i.e. not the rate they were charging me for the other 30 gallons they delivered)! Honestly, this is not a company I will be doing business with next season!

Fine, no complaints but went with a cheaper option.

I shopped around and Medway was the first to get back to me about installing a new tank for boiler I installed to replace an old oil burning furnace. The conditions were not straight-forward so it required some creativity. My general experience was that the installation process was challenging between scheduling, mapping out and the pricing. I ended up having to hand-hold throughout the process. However it was completed correctly and on time. I also used Medway for the propane delivery. I ended up running out of propane a couple times during the winter but their owner was very responsive. I also found out I was being over charged $1/gallon for the propane. I didn;t receive any credit back but they did fix the pricing going forward. Overall I would consider them again but shop around some.

They are terrific. They helped us out of a few jams over the winter when oil heat ran out in our vacant house that we are renovating. They are responsive and you can also reach someone by phone. I'm very glad I hired them.

On automatic service and never an issue. I have used them for years and service is always on time, high quality, and professional.

the provider claimed to have done diagnostics of HVAC problems and repaired draining pipe and replaced filters. Then within 30 days the furnace was leaking water. After we sent them pictures, they refused to come back to fix the problem, by discaliming their responsibilities. It's really shame that they charged so much money with such bad services.

Each time they come they usually do a good job. If they make a mistake I do not pay for it. A couple of times they have had to come out and redo work. One time a brand new circuit board went bad a month later. One time it was a misdiagnosis. This to me is a sign of a good company. Everyone makes mistakes and they showed their true colors when it happened. They are also very happy to explain to you what is going on. They are professional and intelligent. I do not claim to be an expert on oil prices but it looks like they are not the cheapest around. I believe you pay for the extra service. This is their business model, it works for some but not others.

The process was very smooth from start to finish. There was a minor glitch in the scheduling but that was resolved to satisfaction. The estimate for the job was accurate. The men did a terrific job. I highly recommend this company.

I think they've been okay. I think their prices are probably a little high. I'm not sure if I'll continue to use them. I might try to find someone else just based on price.

I call them around 1pm they were here a little after 2pm on a Sat. Great service! We have been using Medway since we moved into our house in 1987!

They are a very reliable service and I have never run out of oil. They will be there before I go out and I do have the maintenance of my burning furnace once a year with them. So I have no complains.

The guys from Medway Oil & Propane were reliable. They are there when you need them. They do good work.

Great service as always. No issues with scheduling and installation. Also an automatic delivery customer and no problems. Highly recommended.

My wife talked to the owner and there was a technician at our hour a few hours later. He diagnosed the problem and fixed it quickly and efficiently. They now provide our oil and service and we are very satisfied with them.

They are a high quality service organization and have always been responsive. I have used them for 16 years and have never head a problem. I am on automatic delivery for oil and they never miss a beat. I call for delivery of propane and they always come, sometimes in the same day, right away. I have two propane tanks and they filled the wrong one once (filled tank for fireplace in summer). I spent $500 4 months earlier than I should have, but this has been the only mistake. I had to replace my boiler in 2012 and Medway Oil did the work. They were not as responsive as I'm accustomed to with them, but they did a good job. The only downside of dealing with Medway Oil is they tend to be one of more expensive oil companies. I have looked at changing from time to time, but I know the service level of Medway and have never wanted to risk a cold winter day waiting for a service call. Like all oil companies, Medway gives better pricing to new customers. Existing customers have to call and complain in order to get a more competitive price.

Our experience with them so far is very good but I won't know until I have an emergency with them. I was looking for somebody who have a reasonable contract and was reasonable to deal with because I just had a generator installed and our contractor usually works with different companies and I could find a contract, so they are fine. They were very reasonable, very responsive and as I said, "the proof of the pudding" only happens when there's an emergency but they're fine. They have fair price.

Work completed on time, and (near as I can tell) as promised. Professional, courteous, and neat.

On average they are about 20 cents higher than most oil companies in the area. Originally thought this was OK because they were from our town, but the frequency of deliveries and the price just made them impossible to work with. Also feel that we were sold a false bill of goods with tank protection, just makes zero sense to continue to use them as a company. In a colder winter I have already saved about $80 dollars through a different vender. Would recommend looking into other options for anyone who reads this.

Us the customer, our only mistake was NOT going out to get solicitation or competitive bids to due the work that was needed. We relied on the heating contractor to repair and bring to operation, the home's heating and hot water system. Due to some of the company trucks NOT having the parts available, significant delays occurred waiting for other company trucks to deliver and perform the job required. In the end 3 company trucks were at the home helping out with the project due to a lack of communication and coordination and I was charged for all the OT (overtime) hours required by all 3 company personal as opposed to being charged a reasonable price for completing the job competitively. i just don't feel I should be charged for the company owners mismanagement and abuse of time by his employees as the errors were not my fault. Then to top it off, I was promised $ 100 free gallons of heating oil in exchange for ordering and purchasing my heating oil thru Medway. The catch is you only get the free 100 gallon oil in 10 gallon increments and the price of the oil per gallon is SO HIGH that you are actually paying for the free 100 gallons. Becareful when it comes hiring their services. Jeff Musnick is the owner of the company.

These folks are top notch! I won't use any other service!!! They spent quite some time at our home checking the systems efficiency and explained how it works. I just had a "free home efficiency inspection" completed by National Grid. They told me that my power vent was pulling too hard and that I was losing energy. National Grid failed to check my drafty front door however!!! They just wanted to see me more installation in my attic. OK, back to the issue at hand. Even though Jeff certainly had more important matters to deal with, he spent a lot of time reviewing the boiler manual with me to ensure I understood what we had and what the numbers should look like. We're at make efficiency and he has several programs to save use money. I wish all business took the time and effort to service their customer base as does Jeffery and the folks at Medway!

Medway's service was absolutely first-rate -- they helped us to find the most economical system of code-complying propane tanks, and also installed those tanks and their connections at a time that worked well with the boiler contractor's visits to our home. They also acted quickly to assure that the tenants of the house were not without hot water for any length of time. First-rate company!
