All in all, a job well done, it's poured several times since the job was done and I have had no issues and my expectations for the winter are very high that I won't have to worry about ice from the poorly placed downspout that was moved .

Mr. Frederick came right away to give me an estimate which I thought was a fair price for the work. He appeared professional and knowledgeable. The work appeared to be done well and I have had no further problems. The only caution for some people might be the wait time to have the actual work done. This is a small business and apparently he has a lot of customers - a good sign. Although he came quickly to give the estimate and add me to his work list, it took about 1 month for him to come to do the work. This was fine for me and I felt that I should have thought to do this work much earlier and not wait until the last minute anyway. I would recommend him and would use him again.

I waited a few months before offering a review to see how the work lasted. It has. Stephen and his coworker fixed two big gutter issues, one of which was really a roofing issue. A great value and great work. Plus no drama, he just showed up when he said he would and got the work done. He's not super polished in his presentation but don't let his lack of slickness bother you, he just focuses on doing the work. I would hire him again, and have recommended him to our next door neighbor, which is a good sign of trust in his work because I will have to live with the consequences of my recommendation with my neighbor. One piece of advice, if you have gutter overflow or seepage issues, just bite the bullet and get it fixed, if you wait, and then wait, and then its winter, and then you have to wait some more, the inevitable water damage to the wood or leaking into the house, is much worse than just getting the simple cause of it fixed now. I kick myself for waiting so long to deal with our gutter issues.

Excellent. Stephen came on time to do the estimate and clearly spelled out the details for the job. When we were ready to do the job, he came as scheduled, completed the job quickly, and left the premises in excellent condition. Stephen's knowledge and creativity also enabled him to solve a tricky problem we have with drainage.

Making an appointment was easy. Someone picked up the phone when I called. Stephen showed up for an estimate visit on time and it took only 5 mins. And they came to clean the gutters and downspouts planned. Everything was smooth and they did what they promised to do.

Every year I give Stephen the nod to come take care of the gutters after all the leaves have fallen. This past year, we had an early winter and freeze, which complicated scheduling. However, on one warm Sunday with a break in the cold, Stephen showed up with his partner and took care of the job.

I was originally looking at getting the gutters replaced, but decided for now just to have them cleaned. Stephen came promptly to look at the gutters, we discussed the options. He then came back and cleaned them before the winter. Very professional and nice people.

We chose Stephen Frederick because of the following reasons: (a) He listened to our concerns regarding the condition of our roof rafters, and addressed them. (b) He was honest with regards to what he could and could not do. (c) He was very prompt with regards to our queries and to performing the work. (d) He carried-out the work in-person.

The fix was effective. He correctly identified the problem and installed a shield thing that caught water from the roof and prevented the overflow. I am happy with the outcome but wish he was more communicative. He wouldn't make an appointment, which was fine but I asked to be notified when he would come (I only wanted an hour's heads up). He showed up unannounced, took a look, and left. Then he later called me to give me the options for further work. If I had been there I would have agreed to the work and had it done right away. Instead it took another visit which, I think, ended up costing me more money. He also again didn't give me the heads up I asked for, which was annoying. I know it was a small job and he was fitting it in between other jobs, but all I wanted was a quick phone call. All in all, the work was done properly, like previous work Stephen has done on my house. Previous gutter repairs by him have held up well and I'll use him again.

Everything went well. Would recommend.

Steve came to give an estimate when he said he would in early December. It was too late to do the cleaning at that time, but he said he would be back as weather permitted. He called ahead of time and came to do the service when he said he would. He was on time and cleaned up after. We would definitely use him again.

Even though this was a small repair job, I received a prompt reply to my call. Steve showed up at the time he said he would, and he made a quick and fair estimate. The repairs were done quickly and professionally. And Steve is a great guy and a pleasure to deal with.
