This guy went above and beyond and he was fairly priced... My leak is fixed... when I noticed one part had a minor drip he came back and fixed it without hestitation... great work! This guy was great to work with.

Mr. Frederick's worker did a great job and left no mess. Only one small issue, I had no idea when the work was going to get done. I would use Mr. Frederick again.

We are very happy with the final product- great workmanship and our gutters match our home perfectly. Unfortunately, there were a number of things that delayed the installation- some outside of Steven's control, but some were his fault. We didn't really mind the delays, but were frustrated by the lack of communication. That said, if we needed gutter work again we would probably use him.

There was a disconnect between what we asked for, and what was actually done. Stephen who did the quote was not there to supervise the workers... which meant things were missed, getting the work done was delayed, and we now have to hire someone else to finish the job. Even though they came back a second time, things were still missed. Although I liked Stephen as a person to interact with, he needs a more professional business model. Better supervision of his crew so what he says he’s going to do is the same as what his workers actually complete.

Due to the location, this was not a priority job. Connected Steven based on the excellent previous work performed. Once we got the quote, we have him the green light to go ahead and work it into his schedule at his convenience. It was so quick and clean, we didn't realize it was completed until we got the bill

Contractor said he was too busy; job too small.

Very quick response and very reasonable quote. Stephen was very easy to work with and he finished the job very quickly and the result was perfect. We request a tie-in of the new gutter downspout into an existing one which was connected to a drain, and he was able to use some of our leftover gutter pieces from the initial construction.

Great! He came when his schedule permitted and sent a bill after the fact; we never knew he was there, but everything was resolved well. Much better than our previous use of one of the mega-vendors with subcontractors.

Stephen was great! Very prompt and professional, and I feel better about our whole gutter system now that he has tweaked what needed to be fixed.

Stephen Frederick was great. We've used him before, so we weren't surprised. He discussed different options for rerouting the gutters and downspouts on our home and gave us a quick estimate. We didn't need to be home when he did the work, so they showed up in the next week or so, did the work, and then billed us. We're very happy with the job.

Stephen showed up promptly at the appointed time to look at the job. He wrote up each piece of the job. Unfortunately the rot on one long section of the gutter put the job out of Stephen's area of specialty; due to lead paint regulations on the replacement of long sections of wooden gutter on old houses, that work will have to be done by a certified lead paint removing company. I arranged tentatively for such a company to remove all my wooden gutters and replace them with aluminum, but they cannot do that work until next spring. To take care of the worst leaks over the winter while waiting for the new gutters, I called Stephen back and selected a subset of the total job. He sent his helper to do the work within a couple of weeks of my go-ahead. The helper discovered some additional rot in the course of the work, which led to a lower bill for the job because one of the estimated repairs did not make sense to do with this level of rot.

Fabulously. Mr Frederick and his team were just not professionals, but artists. They managed to match the color of the trim on the house so that the gutter looks like part of the molding. Since on the day of installation, the weather was intermittently rainy and they couldn't caulk, they promised to come back and do that finishing detail as soon as it was dry. And they did - the next day. I'd ask them to do any similar work for me in a heartbeat. AND their quote was the lowest by far.

Stephen and I negotiated on the price for cleaning the gutters on my two-story 1930's colonial. He gave me an estimate and told me to call him when I was ready (after leaves on nearby trees fell). I called a month and a half later, and a man who works with Stephen came to my house, maybe a week later. The job he did was very good. I would rehire.

Stephen is great. The only con is that scheduling was somewhat abstract and vague and I had to pester to get him to come out. To be fair, it was a small job, but it was going to become a big job if I didn't get it fixed. Anyway, Stephen did eventually come, maybe a week after I had expected, and do the work and it's been holding up great! Other quotes I had gotten from other folks were insane and trying to inflate the price of the job--just total gouging. So I really appreciate that and I hope I can hire Stephen again.

Before we even knew he was coming, he had it all repaired.

He fixed our problem. We have not had any dripping since he worked on the issue.

Very hard to schedule the actual work and I had to even call him to check on agreed date, only to find out that he had rescheduled. Part of the estimate was to repair the cause of a huge amount of water coming behind my gutters and he took pix from ladder to show me and promised to do the best he could given the fact that part of the issue was due to the earlier work done to roof by someone else. When he finally did the work, he ripped quite a few branches off a large, healthy maple tree, tossing them on ground and leaving them there, rather than cutting them properly. He told me when I asked about it afterwards, that that's what he always does and the trees/branches shouldn't be there anyway! On top of the very sloppy calking job, he also completely missed the main source of my leakage that was a VERY visible hole in fascia board.

Steve solved what seemed like unsolvable problems.

Steve is awesome, honest and does great work.

He was great. It was a small project but he did great. His pricing is great. He and his wife's responsiveness was great. He did a basic job very well.

Did the job very professionally. Very reasonable price. I would hire again.

He was great to work with, he came and found that part of our gutters already had flashing after getting on the roof to do the work. Added extensions and our gutters are in much better shape now than they were before.

Smoothly--I called, he came and did a great job.

This is the third year in a row I have hired Stephen for gutter cleaning, routine maintenance and repair. He is honest and fair, and only does work that needs doing.
