While inspecting the jobs to be done, Stephen gave a lot of helpful suggestions and also ways to save money that did not involve him. His price was very reasonable. He did a thorough job cleaning the gutters and installation of spout. I also asked him to put a storm door before my front entrance door. One of the hinge spring was not installed correctly and he quickly came out to fix the issue. Overall, it was very positive experience and Stephen is highly recommended.

Stephen was great. He showed up in person and gave me a great quote on a number of small fixes, gave me straight talk on other questions I had about my gutters and siding where others would have probably upsold me something I didn't need. The repairs were done promptly and done right.

I e-mailed Mr Frederick from the list. Hes reponded in a few days and we set up an appointment to look at the job. he arrived on time, reviewed the work and provided an estimate. We considered other contractors but decided to go with Mr Frederick. The work was performed about two weeks later. It rained today and the problems appear to fixed.

Steve provided a free estimate and gave feedback on questions we had about the work and even what his opinion would have been if the work were being done on his home. We were very pleased with the way the job turned out. He was on budget and finished the work on time. He came back once the job was done to make sure it was to our liking before collecting the final payment. He was professional and informative. He also found a bit of work that he had estimated but didn't end up needing. We did not see it, but Steve took it off the final bill for us without prompting. We are happy with the work and will recommend him to friends.

Stephen was one of several contractors that we reached out to when we had ice damage. He did the work on time without any extras charges. We were very happy with the quality of the work. I would recommend him without reservation.

Steve looked at the gutters and determined the leakage problem was due to a clogg at the downspout connections. He cleaned and unclogged the built-in radial bay copper gutter, as well as the copper scupper connection at the flat copper roof. He charged $150.00, which is quite a bit less than the $15,000.00 it would have cost to replace the gutter. I was quite relieved. He was very professional, honest, and did the job the day after I gave him the go-ahead.

The work turned out very well. He was very good. He is pleasant and he calls you back. He explains things and they work efficiently. I get a good feeling about the quality of the work that they do and I think that their price is reasonable. I like him.

I agree with other positive reviews on Angie's list. We hired Steve to perform routine maintenance for our old wood gutters. We also asked him to provide an estimate for repairs. He did an excellent job cleaning the gutters, which had not been serviced for a long time. He is very knowledgeable and provided a lot of useful information about improving the gutters, downspouts, and exterior drainage for our house. In addition to being professional, easy to reach, and a good communicator, we like that he is lead-safe certified, licensed, and insured. We will use him for gutter repairs, and will continue to use him for regular gutter maintenance.

I found them on Angie's List. Overall, they were fine. I have no complaints. They came and did the job and he's coming back to clean the gutters. We're very satisfied.

On Superbowl Sunday our entire front gutter came crashing down. I found Steve on the list and he lives in our town so i sent an email through Angie's List. He emailed me that Friday, called Saturday morning, came to do the estimate later that morning (on time). He is very knowledgeable and explained why the old gutter probably failed (the ice was only part of the problem). He gave me the estimate and explained the work that needed to be done in detail and answered my questions. He said that I might need additional rafter sisters at a cost of $25 per, but that he wouldn't know how many until he was up there. I agreed to go with what he thought was best. I called later that evening and scheduled for a few days later. On the call he mentioned that he had noticed a missing downspout that was not in the contract and he said he would include that no extra charge. They arrived when scheduled and performed the work. It looks great and he gives a 5 year guarantee. He had to use 5 extra rafter sisters but charged $15 each instead of the $25. They took away all of the old gutter and trim that had fallen. Very happy with the whole process working with Steve and will definitely use him in the future!

During the first heavy rain after I moved into my new home, the gutters overflowed and the downspouts were plugged. Mr Frederick responded promptly to my call, and came when he said he would. He and his helper cleaned out the gutters and downspouts. I asked about installing gutter guards and he advised that he didn't think they were worth it. I was impressed because that is his business and he was looking for what is best for me, not to do unnecessary work. He also cut down a small tree that was encroaching on the corner of the house and interfering with the downspout.

Over the miserable snow/ice storm of the end of January, we called something like eight roofers on a Friday (all from Angie's List) and Stephen was the ONLY one to return our phone call. He called back promptly, said that despite the incredible demand he could squeeze us in on a Sunday or Monday. He called back to confirm the date (for Monday). In the end, we chipped off what we could over the weekend and then it was blissfully "warm" and sunny on Sunday. Everything that was left of the ice dam melted, and we ended up canceling. However, I was so impressed with his punctuality, kindness, and offer to help when it was clearly a VERY busy time for all the roofers. Hopefully we won't ever need this work done, but if we do, he will be the first person I call.

I got Mr. Frederick's name from Angie's List. He came promptly & inspected all gutters and downspouts. I hired him because his assessment of what needs to be done was honest, professional and made sense. He is a hard worker and did an excellent job with everything. My home is old and my gutters have been problematic for years. He repaired some of the fascia boards near rear and front doors where I have leaks. He removed problematic gutters in the front and back, installed new ones and linked them into existing side gutters. He repaired some of my old downspouts & installed new downspouts in areas that needed additional downspouts. I recommend him highly and would definitely use him again.

He was on time. He came in when he said he would come. He kept in contact with us, and he returned our phone calls; which was very important for us. He did a good job, and he came back on a Saturday to finish a little bit of work left. The gutter was done within the time frame. He cleaned everything very well. We will definitely hire him again in the future.

We had an estimate done and the price seemed reasonable . Stephen said that the work could not be done until the weather was not freezing. When the weather warmed up, Stephen came to do the work. We were satisfied with the work.

I can only say good things about him - especially compared to other people that I have used. I hope he stays in business for a long time so that I can continue to count on him.

Great. I always appreciate it when someone tells me why I shouldn't spend my money on a repair I thought I needed. I'd originally intended to have my gutters cleaned and have gutter shields installed. Stephen talked me out of the latter purchase because he said they just didn't work that well. He also identified some other problems with my gutters that didn't need immediate repair but would need to be monitored.

Initially, I was pleased with the work done. However, over the winter we realized that the gutter on the rear of the house was leaking. After the snow melted, we could see many holes in the gutter. This should have been noticed during the repair, and the gutter should have been replaced in the first place (there is no way all these holes appeared in just a few months). I have tried to contact Steve several times to follow up and replace the gutter. I've gotten no response. Now I have to find another contractor to replace the gutter, effectively paying for the same repair twice.

Downspout was damaged and torn away from the house by a truck. After explaining our predicament and the need for a quick repair, the work was performed the same day I contacted Stephen Frederick. The quick response saved our house from water damage -- the following day there was a flash flood rain.
