Rosales Electrical Service

When someone is great at what they do, they make it look easy. He'd indicated to me that this job was a little more challenging than he'd originally thought, but also seemed certain he'd be able to find it.

Admittedly, this is a project not for the faint of heart. The horsehair plaster in our house added to the fun! Any rewire project of an old house is going to be a messy disruptive project. The first floor of this house had most rooms wallpapered, and we were concerned that the holes would require a complete re wallpaper job as well. We hired our long term general contractor to work along with Leo. With a big rewire project like this, that's the way to go- trust me. Our GC recommended Leo from his work with him in the past. Leo is honest and a hard work. Like a lot of electricians, he's an early riser so expect to see him by 7 am on most days! He came in under budget for the project and we definitely would use him in the future for any of our electrical needs.

Leo was great. Was really surprised he wanted to work on a Saturday but he arrived right at 8:30 and knocked out everything by noon. I am very happy with the work that was done and the price. I would definitely use Leo again for future work.

Leo managed to come by for an estimate when I was in town and I appreciate that he was able to fit me in just 2 days before Christmas. He carefully checked everything out and came up with a plan. He was very patient in explaining it to me. I had had another estimate but the other company was slow in responding and did not seem interested in the job. Leo made recommendations that truly addressed the problems and the age of the wiring. Unlike the other contractor who didn’t address the problem as systematically, just kind of a checklist of the issues I raised. Leo was as good as his word providing the estimate as promised and scheduling 2 weeks when I would be home. He had warned me that we would lose power when he had to turn off the original power but he was able to minimize that. It was a very stressful time since we had to move practically everything we owned to allow him access to the rooms. He also ran into lots of challenges that made the job much harder than he had anticipated and caused plans to have to be changed. The house was built with post and beam construction making running wires very difficult. But Leo hung in there and got the job done. Also he had an emergency job he had to go to and was sick one day but he worked on the weekend to make up for the time. One thing that was really great is he has a small company so he did almost all the work himself or supervised when he had employees helping. He did an exceptional job. The work was beautiful and my house is so much safer. He showed me the wiring he took out and it was really in bad shape, very old and dangerous. Leo is such a nice man and such a great electrician. I couldn’t be happier with the job he did. I would hire him again (and am having finish with the wiring the kitchen) and highly recommend his work.

Leo is exceptionally responsive, and always promptly returned my phone calls as we were arranging the service. Very flexible regarding scheduling. Work was done very professionally and with high quality. Will definitely use him again.

Leo answered my call directly and was able to schedule an appointment same day! He arrived on time and figured out the problem immediately. It involved a reset button. He said his policy is that if he can solve a problem with in 2 minutes, there is not charge. Definitely will use his service in future.

Leo was great, and I will certainly be calling him for any other electrical needs that I have. He came out to help just before Christmas and was very professional and helpful. He cleaned up the small mess from cutting a hole for the switch. The job was done well and at a great value.

He answered the phone when called and provided a verbal estimate for electrical work for installation of a gas fireplace insert. He did not initiate scheduling a time to come to assess the situation. His estimate was more than the provider I went with

I called Leo for a light fixture in kitchen that had blown 2 light bulbs- 1 bulb had been in for 2 years- I replaced with another bulb and it blew quickly after being inserted. Leo arrived early, came in and tried another bulb which worked great. He explained that the 2nd bulb must have been a bad bulb. I fully expected to pay a service call and he said no charge. He evan remembered a previous job he did here 2 years ago which has worked fine. Refreshing to find such a kind,compassionate professional.

Leo answered the phone when I called and was available to come by our home within a couple of hours of first contact. He went over our project needs and gave a reasonable estimate the same day. He returned on time within a couple of days to do the work. He was friendly and made sure I reviewed his work before he left. He left a little bit of clean up behind (some sweeping) but that was a very small matter. Better, he came in $50 below his original estimate. We have some plans for further work as we finish out our basement and we will call him back when needed.

Leo showed up at the time he stated. I showed him 5 electrical problems ranging from a messed up garbage disposal switch to installing a ceiling fan. He was the first electrician that actually would take on such small projects. The last 4 electricians that came by all promised to come back and do the work and then they were never heard from again. Leo started out by fixing my switch and since that took him no time at all we walked around and I pointed out other things that I needed to do. He installed an outside motion detector floodlight for my driveway, fixed another bad outside switch that kept setting the breaker off because it was not EFI and installed a ceiling fan. He was here 3 hours and for the money it was well worth it. I had been living with these problems for years because I could not find an electrician that found my problems worth the effort. I have plans to do more outside lighting but just don't have the money at the time. From now on, before I break something electrical I will call him

Leo helped us update the wiring in the kitchen, moved boxes around to accommodate the new kitchen cabinet layout so that the appliances slipped in like a dream. He changed out recessed halogen lighting for pin lighting to highlight the new island. He changed out chandeliers, he installed a ceiling fan, he replaced all of out outdoor lighting with updated fixtures. His knowledge was very helpful and his experience gave him the ability to breeze through the workload quickly. We highly recommend him. We found him on Angie's List and could not be happier. What a life saver he has become in catching up with our workload.

Outstanding job! I called Leo in the height of the blizzard we had in April which knocked down the power to my father's house in Scituate. Not only was he responsive but in the middle of the snow storm he went out to the house to see if he could repair the downed meter, amps breaker and power lines to the house. He thought it would take him two days to get the job done, he actually did in in one because he knew they had no heat or electricity. Leo was extremely professional and did an outstanding job! We could not be more pleased. I would highly recommend him to anyone and we will definitely be using him again in the future.

We are extremely pleased with the services of Leo Rosales. We recently hired him to rewire outlets and switches in our bathroom during renovation as well as install a bathroom fan and vanity light fixture. This was one of the most impressive turnaround times for a vendor I've ever had and I would definitely contact this electrician again.
