They are fantastic. . We have been very happy with VMA. Tim has been punctual, courteous, and has gone the extra mile for us on both occasions.

Tim showed up promptly at 7:30 and was very polite. I showed him the area he'd be working, and left him to it. Very courteous, and he just left the invoice on the table since I had to leave for work. Totally trustworthy and I had no problem leaving him in the house alone. I would definitely use them again.

Tim was very professional and responsive. He arrived precisely on time, was prepared, worked hard and cleaned up everything when he finished. He answered any questions we had and took the time to explain everything to us when he was done. I could not imagine a better experience. We moved into a new home that required electric work to be done. From initial phone call to final payment, VMA electric was always available and incredibly responsive. They were patient in working with me on different options and explaining the work to be done. They were on time, fair in pricing, and cleaned up impeccably. We currently have an offer on an old home (built in 1805), and wanted a thorough electrical inspection. I am very pleased with the services provided by VMA Electric. The electrician was on time, very professional, and extremely thorough. He took extensive notes as he looked at each area of the home, was able to summarize the current issues, and answer all of our questions. Although the consultation was a little pricey, we feel it was well worth it for the knowledge and peace of mind we obtained. We will certainly use VMA Electric Inc. if we choose to do any work on the home.

The guy that was the supervisor came out and looked at all the things on my list. He had someone come out to perform the work and they worked like nobody's business for 1 day. Then there was a piece of furniture for my powder room that wasn't delivered when it was supposed to be and because that piece of furniture requires outlets to be installed in the drawers, they said that they couldn't do any more work on it. There are other things on the list that could have been done. It took me a few days to get a hold of them due to miscommunication but they have given me excellent service since. They are very attentive and professional and everything I have expected.

The installation actually took 2 visits and total cost was $350.00. Electrician was unable to complete the ceiling fan installation during initial visit because the remote ordered for the fan was incorrect, due to a mistake made by the electrical supplier (no fault of the electrician). He was careful to wear protective footwear and generally careful of my home. It was clear he knew what he was doing and used his time efficiently. When it became apparent the remote provided by my electric supply store was incorrect, he explained it to me and demonstrated the problem. When the correct part had been ordered and received, I contacted the scheduler at VMA and she was working with me to set up the appointment at my convenience. We had not settled on a time and date when as it happened, I was home for another reason and the electrician called to offer to stop in and complete the job since he was finishing a call in the neighborhood. This worked out very well, and I appreciated that good communication between the scheduler and electrician was involved. Everyone was very courteous and respectful of my time.

VMA provided a very competitive price for the services we were looking for. The professionalism of the estimator and the workers was top notch. The electricians arrived at 07:15 and were extremely polite and knowledgeable and were more than happy to explain what they were going to do. The exterior work is very neat, plumb and secure. The interior work area was tight and the electricians made easy work of the challenges they were faced with. Both areas were left in better shape than what they found when they arrived. I would definitely recommend VMA and they will be my first call when I need electrical services.

Tim called 30 minutes before he arrived, was very courteous and professional, and worked very hard to get the jobs done. He charged us only for the time he was actively working, not for the time he spent traveling to Home Depot to buy supplies. He wore shoe covers every time he entered the house, and cleaned up meticulously after he completed the jobs. We are thrilled with the service provided by VMA, and will definitely be calling them next time we need electric work done!

It went very well. They were able to come out quickly to give an estimate and Tom explained the work that needed to be done very well. The work was quickly and neatly completed. Lorrayne in the office was also very responsive to all of our questions.

Tim was excellent. He left me a voice message telling me his estimated arrival time of 730am, and he was there at 730am. He was very polite and reviewed my requests. I had only explained over the phone what I needed done. Once he saw the setup, he told me it was going to be a bit more because of the location of the main box. That was ok with me. I only called VMA yesterday, and they came the next morning - how fantastic is that? Tim laid out covers over his entire work area to capture the work materials from the ceiling and his work. He helped move stuff to give him the workspace he needed. He worked in a timely fashion. I checked in with him periodically and he reported where he stood. When he finished, he cleaned up everything, and showed me where he dinged the ceiling a bit in the tv room while snaking the line. No surprises. He showed me all the work he did, and explained what the garage door installer would need to do to install a door and opener. Tim was very professional, polite, and thorough. The price was a bit more than I planned, but still fair. I did not give enough details about my setup and knew there might be difference. For the work done, at this quality level, and the timeliness, it was very fair. I would totally use VMA electric again when I need such work done. I strongly recommend them.

VMA did a great job - they called right away after we contacted them and were flexible on scheduling. They were thorough (which was good), but it took a little longer than I would have anticipated. What I thought would be a 2-3 hours was almost 5. However, I would rather they be thorough and take them time to do it right. There was apparently a billing mistake after the electrician left and they contact us to say they were sending a refund check.

We recently installed central air into our older home and needed to upgrade the electric from 100amps to 200amps. Our general contractor recommended we increase the circuit box to 40, rather than add yet another additional box for the central air. This would allow for extra circuits when we renovate the kitchen and bathrooms. We obtained multiple quotes and VMA was right in the middle; we felt they fully understood what needed to be done and would do it up to code, so we selected them. In the process of obtaining bids, we learned our new furnace and indirect boiler was too close to the existing box, and each recommended moving the box. We viewed this as an opportunity to consolidate boxes that had been added over the years for various projects. VMA worked quickly and efficiently, responded immediately to our requests and even showed on short notice when a worker from our central air project damaged a wire, sending sparks flying in the garage. They reprogrammed the appliances that our generator controls and even lent a hand in removing an old phone wire in the nursery. They were neat, respectful and on time. I'm pleased with the work they did and plan to use them in the future.

The Estimate for the job was about $2300, Billed over $4000, they state the job took longer ! Thermostat still not working , been two weeks from install date and the house is cold 55-65! they did send technicians three times after but they cant fix it. I am searching for more experienced electrician who know what they are doing.

No problems, generator works well and very professional job

He was very polite, professional, and quick. He found the problem with both fixtures, and fixed them quickly.

Vic came out and priced the job and then sent two more estimates for different generators until I settled on the one I wanted. He answered every question I had. He sent two of his crew to do the actual work of running new wiring and installing the transfer switch. I do wish they had spoken to me first before they drilled holes in all of our floor joists as I would have preferred they use a different method. I should have been more on top of things myself. None the less, they did an excellent job and returned a week or so later to finish. Vic had failed to order the cement pad on which to set the generator so we had to wait for that to come in. It did, they set the generator on it and got it ready for the plumber to come and install the gas lines. D.H. Macleod was the plumbing company and they were perfunctory and did an excellent job. Mike then returned(from VMA) and finished the hook-up and explained all to us about it and gave us a demonstration. Lorrayne was the person I dealt with most of the time at VMA's office and she was so helpful. She made sure I received all communication in a timely fashion and that Victor got all of my messages and got back to me. I didn't have to worry about permits as Victor took care of those and when I asked for a copy, Lorrayne e-mailed me one to put in the front window. All in all, it went well and I'm quite pleased with it.

Very professional and clean

No complaints about the work, they completed the work as scheduled. They were on time and easy to schedule. They justified the pricing saying there were two technicians however I hadn't requested two. The actual work took them less than 15 minutes.

VMA is a totally professionally organization. We previously used Victor and his team to do all of the electrical work on a major renovation of our 100+ year old house. We have always found him clear, punctual, and very attentive to our concerns and needs. We have had many different VMA electricians work in our home and each has been very competent, polite, and incredibly gentle with our house. They are not the cheapest, but you know you are getting a quality job done by a quality team.
