VMA is awesome! Lorrayne in the main office was so helpful in scheduling and answering all of our questions. The crew were professional, efficient, and friendly. They worked quickly and got our items done faster than expected, so the final cost was less than the estimate. We love these guys!

Victor always does good work for me

Job was performed in 4 parts due to the progress of my kitchen renovation. VMA was very patient and diligent in coming back for each installation. Each item was installed with great attention to detail. Service and staff were extremely courteous and professional. I am completely satisfied and happy with the finished product.

The price was reasonable and the service was excellent. Tim was the project manager on all three chunks of projects and was efficient, courteous, respectful, and engaged me in conversation about options and placements. Each project was completed in a timely manner and the house was left clean. The owner, Victor, came by to quote on part of the project and was honest and fair.

Victor of VMA provided solid advice at the planning and estimating stage inspiring a high level of confidence in the process. This was followed up with detailed questions before the two installation professionals started rough-in. They worked quickly and tidily and were mostly finished by late afternoon. A senior electrician arrived to check the work, discuss finish details and ensure I was satisfied. The town inspector had no issues at this stage. Prior to finish wiring, several calls from the office verified final details and arrival dates and times. Once again work was carried out quickly and cleanly and passed final inspection. Overall I'm very satisfied with the experience and would note the excellent communication at all levels, timely arrival and work ethic of everyone involved. They worked around our schedule, even when other contributors to the project find not meet commitments. It's always a shock to spend such a large sum of money on a single aspect of a renovation, but in truth this was the most complicated, worrisome and pivotal part since the house has no basement or attic to run additional circuits and VMA Electric Inc took away all and every concern in this aspect.

Tim the electrician, showed up on time. I was quoted a $350 for the job to be done, but Tim says because it won't be necessary to build a line from the panel in the garage. He just tied the line from another existing outlet in kitchen. The cost was cheaper. I appreciate his honesty. The job was completed in an hour. And they also gave me a 10% discount for being a first time customer!

Excellent service. An estimate was arranged for the day I called the office to get a quote! Service was scheduled 3 weeks out but when a cancellation came, I was moved up a week which was wonderful! Service was thorough and professional. I will use them again in the future for sure!

Great. Tim and his team diagnosed the problem quickly, and changed out the damaged light with a brand new one. During that time, i also walked the property with Tim and made plans for additional work to be done in the springtime.

We've been consistently impressed with the quality and professionalism of VMA. They aren't the cheapest, but they know what they are doing, and every electrician and rep we've talked to has been courteous and efficient. We've used them for very small jobs all the way up to a full replacement for our breaker panel and service entry. They show up on time and they've usually finished early. We have a house with some quirky wiring and they were able to figure out the more eccentric parts.

At checkout with Angie's List, I provided three dates that worked for my family. I never heard back from the contractor. The dates came and went with no contact. I tried calling but the contact number leads to a voicemail box that is full. It's impossible to get in touch with these folks.

VMA has done a number of projects at our house and they've always done a great job! They are very quick to respond to calls and emails and the staff are all professional and courteous. We'll definitely call them for our next projects!

Tom came promptly and did a thorough examination of the electrical system in place to determine what needed to be done. I received an estimate that afternoon which included an option to upgrade the control box which is what I decided to do. Tom advised that they were 2 - 3 weeks out with already scheduled work but would indeed get the job done. 2 weeks later it was! Rich did the work professionally, pleasantly and efficiently and I now have heat in my beautiful sunroom. I cannot recommend VMA Electric highly enough and I will call them first for any future electrical needs or issues.

On the first job, they were scheduled to arrive at 7AM, and they did not show up. At 9AM I called Lorrayne, who immediately reached out to the crew and found out they went to the wrong job site first. Even though I was told they would show up within 2 hours, they still did not show up until after 12PM that day. Still, they hustled and got done in a day what they said would take a day and a half. They were fair about the inconvenience. The work was done well. So went back to them a month later for a new light in my kitchen. This time things went much smoother, exactly as expected. Lorrayne is fantastic at coordination and was always very responsive to my calls and emails. That first day was a blip in an otherwise excellent set of experiences.

The problem with the fan was located quickly and fixed as soon as the men could get the part to repair it. The work on the tv had it's own set of problems. When the men opened the wall to install the new wires they ran into a beehive in the wall. They sealed the hole in the wall and located the place outside where the bees were getting in and dealt with the problem. I was impressed by how quickly they made sure that I was protected from the bees that had entered the house. Once the bees were taken care of they were able to run the wires to the area between the chimney and the wall above the fireplace. Our agreement was for time and materials. Taking care of the bees added a lot of time and the work took place over a two-day period. I'm not sure what the service would have cost if the bees hadn't been there. The company was very responsive when I asked for the removal of a sensor that had been installed and really didn't work with our layout. They immediately removed the charge from my bill. The work was neat, well-done and we are very happy with the service we received.

Very well. Tim and Matt showed up on time. They were very courteous and pleasant and answered any questions we had before getting to work. They first replaced our broken ceiling fan/light with a new 36" down rod and Hampton Bay 60" ceiling fan. This fan is quite large and was being installed on a very high cathedral ceiling, so it was quite a task. They handled it with no problems at all. They then took care of the dimmer for the DR light. Then it was down to the basement to install the motion detector over the garage. Everything works perfectly and look beautiful. Tim and Matt were done in about 4 hours. They cleaned up after themselves and took the broken fan, etc. and the packaging from the new items with them so we didn't have to deal with disposing of everything. We will hire VMA Electric again in a heartbeat, and will request Tim and Matt as the electricians if they are available. We were very pleased with them and the work they did!

We're professional and did a great job. Initially didn't come with the proper ladder but had one dropped off. Price ended up being LESS than initially quoted.

It was well explained to me my options and the best way to do it. I got light fixture from Turkey and the were very complicated and an annoying job to do, but they found a way to do it and they work really hard finding parts so that the installation could be done in the right way. They were very clean and on time
