The wall is gorgeous!!! These guys are artists, carefully selecting stones that fit well and look beautiful together! Watching the progress was amazing. Stones chosen carefully, split by hand and meticulously placed one by one. Nothing rushed and time taken to pick just the right stones. Just beautiful! Many neighbors commented on how great the wall looked and motorists driving by have stopped to compliment the work. Al, the project manager was always available if we had questions. He also periodically stopped by to check the progress. I can't say enough about how professional and courteous these guys are. Always at the house early in the morning and staying until almost dark on some days! We live in a small neighborhood with homes very close together and they were able to bring in equipment and tons of stones without much disturbance to anyone and were meticulous in their clean up when they were done. I would highly recommend Dalto's Landscape and Construction Company. They exceeded my expectations!

Dalto's price was the lowest of the three we received. However, they proposed to install a new driveway with a single 3and quot; (compacted) layer of asphalt. Both other bidders were professional pavers, and both proposed two 1-1/2and quot; layers (compacted). Compacting two lifts of asphalt assures adequate compaction. In the end, although we liked Dalto and his lower price, we decided to hire a paver to do the paving, and have the walkway done later by a landscaper. We will call Dalto at that time.

It went fine. Everything was good. They did what they were supposed to do. We negotiated the cost. They were on time. It was great. Actually, we are going to call them soon because we needed to have the driveway sealed.

They were great. I had no problem with them. I had tons of questions and they got back to me and responded really well. I had concerns and they came over to resolve them for me. I was just very happy with them. I really liked them a lot but there were a couple of things that I questioned about them.

We did not end up choosing Dalto because we wanted a different look in the stone masonry. However, I had an excellent experience meeting and interacting with Dalto. He was a real gentleman, and showed us several projects, both underway and completed, in Dover, Natick, and Wellesley. I would certainly recommend him for consideration by any homeowner looking at options for similar work.

Very professional crew. They used extra guys to get the job expedited so the driveway would have time to dry before we got home from vacation. Driveway looks great. I would definitely recommend them.

We had an old 6 high 'x25' wide retaining wall between our yard and a neighbor's on a lower street behind our house. The 50+ year-old wall had failed and Marco's team came in an demo'ed it by hand (tight, tight space between city lots so they could only use hand tools to demo). They cleared it out and built a new retaining wall with appropriate drainage and support. They added a new resin picket fence on top and around the yard. Stormy weather, including a hurricane, interrupted the flow of the schedule but the crew was pleasant, attentive, and professional and the work did not lag. The wall and fence look great. We're planning to use Dalto's for our driveway next spring, too.

Dalto's Landscaping has done many projects in our neighborhood, so I called for an estimate for several small hardscape landscaping improvement projects that I needed to do: replacing old rotted railroad timbers that had been a border to some plantings and shrubs in a driveway, fixing the sinking bricks in a walkway, re-setting cobblestone pavers that had formed a border in another part of this same driveway, removing the timbers as well as a very small wood shed that had fallen apart. I also noted that Dalto was on Angie's List. Dalto, the owner, returned my call promptly and came within several days to review the projects, make suggestions, and give me estimates on the various options. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and made several options at a few different price points (all of which seemed reasonable), reviewing the pros and cons of each choice. He had a 10% coupon that he had given to people in the neighborhood, which he applied to the job. He called me with a start date, and he arrived as arranged, with his crew. While the crew was working, I had a few questions or points I wanted clarified, and his crew called him promptly so we could talk. Dalto was reassuring, patient and he made sure I understood what his crew was doing and why. The crew were courteous and hardworking. The results are great! Oh, and in re-mortaring some bricks at a back entry, there was a little cement or mortar left on the driveway. When I called Dalto and told him, he immediately sent one of his crew to clean it away the next day. Working with Dalto's Landscaping was a great experience.

Both Dalto and Marco were very helpful. They provided very reasonable estimates and, most helpfully, they provided different ideas for the layout of the patio and walkway, and options to keep the price down. They were flexible in doing the work when it was convenient for us, and were very punctual and efficient. We couldn't be more pleased with the finished product. It looks fantastic.

When they got here, they did the job very quickly. It was pretty easy to deal with Dalto. I spent about $ 10,000. I will use this company in the future.

We had Dalto complete two projects for us. The Masonry proejct review is separate from this one. As for the landscaping, we weren't sure initially if we wanted to get it done. Had a tight budget, but we decided Dalto seemed nice enough and was courteous so we'd have him do the landscaping as well. He worked with us in coming up with a reasonable price, initially. As the project progressed, he made recommendations of additional services such as sowing new grass seed. He told us that would be an additional $400 and we agreed to that. The surprise was when we received the final bill. There was a line item for $480 that we had never been informed about prior to receiving that invoice. Dalto told us it was the planting fee for the new flowers, etc. Why he failed to mention this still baffles me today. He was upfront with all the other costs, so why not this one? After the project, our driveway was dirty and scratched up by the Bobcat that had been parked there for three days. There was also an area where the driveway appeared to have been damaged as a result of the work performed. We had the driveway installed a year ago, so you can imagine that I was not pleased to have it looking the way it did after Dalto's crew left. Another thing that bothered me was he told us he would include the cost of grass seed and fertilizer. When it came down to it, neither of those things were included as we paid for them ourselves. The way he explained the final invoice did not make sense. When I tried to explain it to him, he was adamant that he was giving us a discount. Lastly, he did not come to pick up the final payment when he said he would. We waited at home for an entire morning for a call, and it never came. Then the next day, he showed up unannounced. All these things made for a very aggravating experience. When bringing up any issues with Dalto, he dismissed them quickly. He refused to acknowlede the issues and his response was either that the damage was there before the project or he simply didn't address the issues.

It started out great. Dalto came when he said he would and gave us an estimate. Was courteous and fairly professional. He said the work would not start if it was raining. So to our surprise when we came home from work after a rainy day, our steps were already taken down and unusable. And there was a Bobcat parked in the driveway. It stayed there for the entire project. While the steps looked great after the project was completed, our brick walkway had splotches of dried concrete on it and the paint around our front door was chipped. The driveway was also dirty and scratched up by the Bobcat. We had the driveway installed a year ago, so you can imagine that I was not pleased to have it looking the way it did after Dalto's crew left. (See review regarding landscaping project for more details.) When bringing up these issues with Dalto, he dismissed them fairly quickly. He said the scratches on the driveway would go away, and he didn't address the other issues.

My wife and I were extremely happy with the work that Dalto's did for us. This is a very professional company, that is knowledgeable about the materials they work with. Our steps look like new. I felt they were honest, on time, and very courteous and polite on the job.

Very well! Adalton was straightforward with the work that needed to be done, Gave an estimated that included more finishing touches such as the repointing of walls and top landing for the same price as others who were JUST going to reset stairs. Came on time and Completed project in 2 work days. Adalton takes great care in his work. He was hired to reset our stairs and left us with a beautiful staircase and landings and surrounding area!
