They were timely, courteous, and professional. Ultimately did a very nice job.

It turned out fine. It took a long time to get to it. They cancelled on me at least once. With the specials that you put out in Angie's List, they probably got thousands of people who wanted the service and they couldn't service all those people. They were overbooked. They can't service people in a timely manner. They did the job so it was good.

The job went very well. They were very accommodating of my schedule. They worked around the weather and ended up working on a Saturday. The guys were polite and answered all my questions. They did a great job. Unfortunately, it rained 15min after they completed the job so they were gracious enough to come back and re-coat. Great experience! I would certainly hire them again.

First, I tried to contact them to schedule a date before July, it's really difficult to set up a time with them, delayed a couple times. After the work, there are several cracks don't have good sealcoating, the asphalt melted and wrinkled. And called them to have someone come back to take a look, never response. Also, I bought their $179 deal, but the final price they charged $430.

Excellent! The work was accomplished as promised on time and with appropriate contrasts. The only issue was a mar in the main street from the presence of the machinery. The offer was fair and the additional charges were also fairl.

Had to get a refund from Angie's List for misrepresentation of additional costs in the fine print. Also 30 minutes late for appt.

It was awesome -- everything turned out even better than expected. The 2-3 man crew was very professional, polite, and extremely hard-working.

It did not: they informed me a few days before our appointment that I would have to fill our a form authorizing payment and giving my credit card information. I deal with a LOT of contractors [I run a rental business, own a number of houses] and this is actually the first time a contractor has asked me to pay in advance...which this is. So, after some back and forth, I called Angie's list...and the representative there, who understood my hesitations (who would pay for/authorize payment for a job that had not yet been done????) also read some reviews of Dalto which were a bit damning, including siting pressure to give the information in advance that I was refusing to give in advance, so I simply cancelled. What I paid Angie's list will be applied to some other deal that I take, since it is past the 30 day cash-back, but this is fine.

Things went well. Initially it was easy to communicate with the company. My phone calls and emails were returned in a reasonable amount of time. The work was completed in the specified amount of time. The work was done well (as far as I can tell!.) My only comment is the guys came out to get started but left. No one communicated with me that they could not get started. After a few unreturned calls, the next day the company called to let me know they were going to do the project that day. It was frustrating, but did not mess with my schedule too much.

Purchased 2 driveway sealing deals at $179 each. The vendors final quote after inspection was 87% higher than deal price. Leaves one feeling the original price was understated. Also, the quota charged extra for SF over 800 and indicated the driveway was 19’ wide. Not even close. It’s not even 10 feet wide and is well under 800 SF. They did the same with 2 driveways. Was left feeling this is not a company I want to do business with.

Great! We purchased a coupon for the installation of half of the patio and then got a quote for the rest of the patio, demolition, and enlarging the patio. Dalto was very clear about what was included in the quote, and when we upgraded the pavers, he charged us only the incremental cost of the pavers (no add-on fee). Dalto's team was on time and when they ran into a more difficult demolition stayed late and finished the job. They replanted the shrubs after they built out the new patio. And the result is beautiful! We love the patio and use it all of the time.

I had purchased an angieslist deal for 120sq feet for $1,400 which was supposed to include materials and installation. Although we were pleased with the final outcome, I thought it was a bit of a bait and switch job. Typical story, owner of the company comes out for the initial consultation and upsold the whole job. Never once mentioned the $1,400 I had already paid his company for 120 sq feet of walkway and had all kinds of ideas about what we could do. Although I figured some of the stuff he was talking about was probably not included in the initial purchase I was kind of surprised at how high his final estimate was (which did not include the $1,400 he had already collected or the granite steps that I bought for $168 each). I was in a bit of rush and wanted it done for my sons bday party that weekend sucked it up and spent the money but the overall process felt a little dirty. Yes, I could have had somebody else do it and got a refund, or had him come out for another consultation but I didnt. I never saw Dalto besides the initial consultation and the day he came to collect his money. The group he subbed the job to were hard working guys that worked until 7pm to finish the job on time so I appreciated them. But Dalto never once checked the job to see the progress or to check if I was satisfied. Bottom line I will not use again.

I purchased the deal on June 6, 2016 and the work was finally scheduled for July 22, 2016 however they did not show up when scheduled and, I believe, came the following day when I was away. At first glance the driveway looked okay but then I noticed what looked like staining on the driveway. I took pictures of the stains and sent them to Dalto's. The office manager said someone would get back to me and come by to look at the driveway but they never did. In the meantime I've noticed that they did not fill any cracks and did not clean my driveway sufficiently as I've discovered screws and other items "seal coated" to my driveway. I paid extra for the size of my driveway and am disappointed that they did not do a good job or follow up to fix the job.

They wanted me to have additional work to be done ranging form $98 to over $1,000. They agreed after several conversations to just do just the seal coating. They told me they did the seal coating but wanted an additional $98 for "prep work." They asked me to give them my credit card number over the phone, and were very persistent about getting the number. According to them I agreed to the charge on Angie's List messages online and have to pay for it. Later, I drove by the property to check on it. The work they said they did, was not not at all. They were told, that they can't keep rescheduling or no showing because the people that park in the driveway have to pay for alternative parking for $50. I have very upset, and can't believe they company has treated me this way. What they are doing is the same as stealing.

The good news is that they readily offered a full refund. The rest of the story is this: The company was prompt about providing an estimate, however, when I received it, I noticed that the quoted drive dimensions didn't seem to match my drive. The owner returned and re-measured, which reduced the price by about 25%. Next they scheduled the work without checking to see what was convenient for me, and assigned a date when I was leaving town midday. After saying that they would make my job the first of the day and would be finished before I needed to leave - likely arriving between 8 and 9. They showed up at 11:15. I called the office three times between 8:30 and 10:00 when I finally was able to speak with someone. When she called back around 10:45, she explained that the workers had to finish a job from the night before but would be there shortly. The crew who arrived had a different explanation - they said their truck broke down. I had to leave but since I had had the drive sealed by two other companies in prior years, and the work seemed pretty straight forward, I left never dreaming anything could go wrong. Also, my neighbor was there and available to consult and to call me if there were any problems. After allowing the drive to dry/cure for 48 hours, I inspected and found the rubbery crack-filler was applied in uneven lines and they had left blobs (apparent drips) in various places. Several places weren't dry (and in fact today - 6 days later - I can still leave a footprint in some areas. Additionally the edge along the entrance to my garage and as well as the edge along the stone-lined side of the drive was uneven. Finally, the surface of the drive in many places was blotchy. I complained to the company and they offered to send the crew back to take a look at their work. They, of course, said that I should be happy with the job - it was the best anyone could do. I feel the owner should have returned to see the work. To make sure I wasn't exaggerating my disappointment, I later asked someone who had re-sealed my drive in the past to take a look at it. Without giving him any hints, he told me that while not "horrible," they should have been more careful with the rubber. Also it appeared that they should have either done a second coat of sealant or used a thicker grade - that would have evened out the surface. (His schedule was full - I would have had to wait for almost a month for him to do the work. I wish I'd been patient.) And as I said, the good news is that they offered and provided a complete refund.

They were prompt, thorough, provided great communication, and did a good job.

The job went exceptionally well. The workmen were courteous and eager to get the job done well. They worked quickly but were very neat and did a great job. I would definately use Dalto again!

Unfortunately it was not clear that this company would not service my area. I was frustrated that after paying for this deal, it was cancelled. Fortunately Angie's List refunded my money.

I was very impressed since the start of the customer/contractor relationship. Dalto was very professional from the start of the proposal process. All my answers and needs were answered before the work started. Price was right, comparable with other companies we have quoted. He was able to provide us with all the licenses and insurance certificates, so we knew our project was covered. The working crew was very professional, very clean and worked really hard at the project. We were able to get daily/weekly updates. Not only he has done the work, but also help us design our basement, in which came to be perfect. We are really happy will recommend Dalto's Construction Inc to all of our friends and family.

Wow. I am actually shocked at how good my experience was with these guys. I had used Angie's list to call about 10 companies hoping for estimates, about a week before Thanksgiving. I knew I was late in the game, but still was suprised that only two companies even bothered to call me back. One just called back to say they were not booking any more driveway jobs until the spring. The other company was Dalto's and his office/business manager Meiryellen called to schedule him to come for an estimate. He came before Thanksgiving and sent me an estimate the same day. He had ideas during the estimate that helped contain the scope of the project and save me money (by avoiding an additional cut out in the curb which wasn't really needed, and things like that.) Although I wasn't able to price with other companies, the estimate seemed very reasonable, and all the other Angie's list reviews said they found his estimates to be reasonable at well, so I decided to go for it. He also gave me $100 off for mentioning Angie's List, which I appreciated. He was able to schedule the work for the week after Thanksgiving (!) and completed it in exactly 6 hours. Along with Dalto, his workers were also very professional. It looks even better than I had imagined, with all the weird bumps and holes in my yard leveled, and the walkway/driveway is perfect. Meiryellen sent invoices and followed up with me by phone as well, I felt like they cared about the job and my satisfaction. Both Dalto and Meiryellen were super courteous, professional, responsive, and warm. I am very satisfied and impressed with my service.

Excellent expereince with Dalto and his team. Hardscaping was first class. Responsive and professional throughout the project. Very happy with end result and would not hesitate to use again.

I initially contacted six companies to get estimates for a driveway repair. Dalto's Construction was the only company that emailed me back within a day. They measured the driveway very carefully and explained the work to be performed in detail. Later that day I received a written estimate from Dalto's Construction that included the permit costs. I had to wait for two weeks to get the estimates from the other companies to compared prices. One company did not bother to measure the area and two others just gave me final oral estimates on the spot which were never followed by written estimates. The estimate from Dalto's Construction was average but I decided to go with them because of their prompt response and professionalism. They scheduled the repair such that the work could be completed by Friday and we could use the driveway by Monday. This was nice of them because I originally asked them to start on Friday which would have meant that they would have torn apart the driveway on Friday, pave it on Monday, and have the driveway ready to use by Thursday. The day of the work we asked for minor changes on the driveway design which they were happy to accommodate. The work was done expediently and the area was left clean. The workers were very polite and willing to answer questions. We were very pleased with the results. The driveway looks outstanding! I highly recommend Dalto's Construction for any paving work!

Dalto had previously bid on a paving job for us that included paver walkways. Ultimately the job was awarded to a paving contractor and the walkway scope was deleted from the job. At the time of the paving bid we were impressed with Dalto's personality and ideas, and a year later, when we decided to do the walkways, we called Dalto to give us a price. He responded immediately and provided a quote the same day. Dalto's crew arrived as scheduled and placed both walkways in the same day, working nearly until dark. The final compaction with polymeric sand was completed a few days later. The walkways were installed perfectly, including an attractive flair at each end. Their workmanship was excellent.
