Gibbs Roofing & Remodeling

Description of Work: I have a cabana attached to my house. We use it in the summer with my swimming pool. This past summer, I discovered a leak which ruined the ceiling and walls of the cabana. After a few estimates, including Dan Gibbs', I chose Dan Gibbs as the contractor to repair it. I thought his estimate included everything that would be needed to have the job done well. When I called him to tell him, I asked him to send me an estimate. He said that he would. I waited awhile, no estimate. I called him several times asking for the estimate and each time he said that he would send it. He appeared responsible, so, I believed him. He strung me along from July to October. There I was with a cabana which needed repair and winter approaching. I was so frustrated. You have no idea how hard it was getting an estimate, in a timely fashion, from all the contractors. I started from the early summer. Of course, now, I had to go through the long process of trying to find another contractor. I ,finally, found another one on your list. Dan Gibbs, in my estimation, is a very irresponsible person. I don't think any person who needed work on their house could rely on him. He put me through so much anguish and misery. I would give him an F.

Description of Work: Took off two layers of roofing on the house & replaced with new. Was here on time, guy's were great, was done in 6 hours, didn't leave till the yard was very clean, had to have some work done around the chimney, he had someone here to do the work & that looks great as well. I would use them again an give their name to others in need of a new roof.

Description of Work: Re-shingled (where necessary) and painted 3 story Victorian - not an easy job.|
