Excellent. Gibbs was very professional and courteous. Despite having a roof shingle that was about 13 years old and the original manufacturer no longer in business, they were able to match the color and style of shingle to another manufacture's line. There was no discernable difference to our original shingles.

workers are employees. careful not to damage aluminum siding and shrubs. cleaned up debris very well. only problem was that it took too many phone calls to this vendor, and then several to the company rep to finally get my roof registered to get my warranty. it took over 3 months. the work was done well, though. also took a $200 coupon from their ad.

We are very pleased with the job. The owner was very nice to work with. He returned calls almost immediately, reviewed all the specs in detail with us before the job was scheduled. They were on time, worked very efficiently and cleaned up every last piece of debris. Cleaned and vacuumed our closed-in porches The roof has many slopes and peaks, which came out beautifully symmetrical. We have had several compliments from our neighbors. I would definitely recommend Gibbs Roofing.

We discovered a hole in the shingles on our 11 year old roof. We called Gibbs Roofing because of their A grade status on Angie's List. Was very personable on phone and agreed to come by and take a look. Then never showed up, never called to say something came up and hasn't called since. Just plain rude! We are only asking for common courtesy. If you don't have that, I don't want you doing work for me. In the mean time, rain was in the forecast and his inconsiderate behavior lost us another day. We got another roofer to come out and patched the hole for free! We have since found out our shingles are defective and the whole roof needs to be redone. You can guess which roofer we will be calling to complete the job in the spring.

They did a great job. They did it in half a day. They did a little bit of carpentry work as well around the house and they did a wonderful job. I would definitely recommend them.

Dan showed up right on time and they went to work right away stripping off the old shingles. They were done installing 16 squares in just a few hours and cleaned up everything. I received my warranty from GAF shortly thereafter. I recommended Dan to my boss and two other co-workers. They were also pleased. No issues with the roof so far.

He was very responsive prior to the date. On the day of the work, they were on time and performed in a timely fashion as he had informed me. cleaning of materials was also done. I am very pleased with their work and would highly recommend them to others.

The contractor completed the job in a single day, and did a good job of cleaning up. The contractor responded on short notice, which was important because the roof on one structure was leaking quite badly. The contractor was responsive to my telephone calls. Overall, I found the contractor to be responsive, highly competent, and efficient.

Dan Gibbs provided us a quote that was just slightly higher than the lowest quote we had received from another roofing company. We chose Gibbs Roofing because he was able to do the work about a month sooner than the other roofer that we were considering. The 50 year non-pro-rated warranty which included labor costs from GAF was also a good selling point. The price included all new 6 inch aluminum drip edge, ice & water shield, GAF Deck Armor, cutting the holes and installing the solar vent and bathroom exhaust vent and re-installing the antenna tri-pod. Once we told him that we would accept his bid, he informed me that the shingles would be delivered on Friday, October 12th and the job would be done on Sunday October 14th. All of the materials were delivered on schedule, and Dan and his crew showed up promptly at 7 am on Sunday morning to do the job. Everybody got to work right away hanging tarps to protect the multitude of plants and bushes that surround our house and started stripping off the old shingles. It appeared that they followed a routine that resulted in a continuous progression to completion. Since our house has exposed rafters which prevented the installation of soffit vents, I chose to go with a high quality solar vent which Dan installed on the south side of our roof. Dan also pointed out that the intake louver that I had planned to install on the side of the dormer was not necessary and could cause problems if snow built up in front of it, which I never considered. The old roofing material survived for over thirty years without any "proper" venting on our 85 year old home. Many of the other roofers insisted on installing ridge venting which even the roofing manufacturers informed me would serve no purpose without soffit vents. Work was completed around 1pm that day which included all clean up and removal of debris. Dan has his own large trailer for debris removal which was also a plus over having someone drop off a container in my gravel driveway. I checked the roof the next week to make sure that they sealed and all of them seemed to be secured except for a couple. So far so good as the roof survived the limited effects of Hurricane Sandy and the more severe microburst that went through a few days later. Overall I would say everything went smoothly, and I would highly recommend Gibbs Roofing.
